Package being sorted and waiting for delivery for almost 3 weeks. When contacted they say my data was not right. But the shop showed me the ticket with all the data properly given to them. And according to them it is tampering trying to fix it afterwards. Not a single time AN post worked properly for me and this time is so annoying.

I just went to Callan post office to post a box of exams. Unfortunately I missed the office in school so didn’t have any cellotape but know the post office is always friendly and helpful I thought they would have no problem helping me get students exam script in the post ASAP. Instead the surly staff member barely looked up from counting receipts and lied to my face that they didn’t have any tape (it was on a counter behind her). No problem I went and bought some and returned 5m later but a little humanity in a community service business would be great. I’d be embarrassed if she worked for me.
Further to a review I posted a couple of weeks ago concerning the poor quality and delay of the Christmas post, the final card posted on the 13th December was delivered today in an appalling state, filthy, buckled and mildewed from wet, looked like it had been stored in a bucket of water!!
Ordered something, they first set it as delivered and then when I went to AnPost they told me they had sent it back to the store.
I have been trying to contact AnPost support ever since ! It’s been a week. No one answered yet
They Stole my parcel!!!
*Delivery service is dreadful! Package in the same city was sent in 8 days timeline, where must be a next day delivery.
*If you bought label for package and don't use it, you never get back your money. I sent email about it, never resolved.
*An post lost two my Vinted packages, they never sent out of Ireland. Nice work.

Coolmine sorting office is the graveyard of postal packages. They just lie there. I have contacted A Post CEO, Dail Deputy, and every local TD and Councilors. Same story they are working on it, Christmas, no staff, new Houses, weather. All of the excuses. It’s called planning! Christmas comes every year as does winter weather and with the time it takes to build new houses in Ireland, really. It’s called planning, you prepare!!! It’s the National Postage Service the are not trying to split the atom

Again this shitty company have not delivered my amazon order and lied saying they " attempted " to deliver my order when they didn't. They stated they " attempted " to deliver my order at 13:50 complete lies !, my wife was at home and I have a ring door bell and cctv on my house no delivery came. This has happened numerous times were they have lied . When will amazon and other online retailers stop using this dishonest company !.

My international parcel (tracking: LX310671202JP) arrived in Ireland and was marked “being sorted for delivery” on 7 February.
Since then, there have been no updates and no delivery attempts for several days. When a delivery notice was issued, it falsely claimed I was not at home… I was clearly available. The parcel is already in the local An Post network, yet it still hasn’t been delivered…this happened today (11th of February)
It’s very frustrating to see items sitting in the depot with no communication or clear timeline. A domestic delivery should not take nearly a week after arriving in the country.
Poor tracking, poor communication, and unnecessary delays. Very disappointing service.

On post has gone the way of other state funded companies , Think RTE. Postal workers took time off , leaving certain parts of the city with no post 3 days before chrismas. I'm waiting on several parcels ,I got text ,its been a week I'm still waiting. No privately owned company would survive . Luckily our tax will bump them up again ,& again,.no matter what.

Terrible service, left without cover, with An Post blaming the other provider for the hold up, made a complaint to Comreg and they said it is An Post's responsibility to make sure all the ducks are in a row. Incompetence to the highest evel!

I met a really nice post man this morning, who was so obliging and friendly and delivered my post with a knock on the door.
I had lost the key to my post box and told one postman 2 weeks ago, and ever since they have been parking outside, and coming in to hand deliver my post (thank you so much). However, I found the key over the weekend and was telling post man this morning, when he mentioned it was his first day on job - and he had already been informed of my post box dilemma!!
Firstly, big kudos to local post supervisor/manager for keeping all staff in the loop, and well done an post for employing more staff.
Best of luck to new post man ( I forgot to ask his name), you already did your first round in double quick time and with a big 😀 smile - you smashed it!
Well done An Post and to top it off received my package within 2 days. 5* from me this time!

Do they not know about tracking? We can see when they are not delivering - literally. Parcel handed to An Post 6 days ago and still no sign of delivery. Cannot contact CS - capture goes round in never ending circles of clicking on buses and crossings (both on Chrome and Firefox)

Supposedly attempted to deliver an item at the crack of dawn in the UK before i was awake. No one rang the doorbell, and no "we missed you " card was left. A day later i received a notice via ebay saying i needed to collect the parcel in person, and to visit the AnPost website. Tracking confiremed parcel need to be collected as they were not going to attempt a redilivery, but not indication where from. No human help availbale at the weekend so had to rely on a supposedly "AI " Bot, but scant evidence of any form or intelligence there, artificial or otherwise. Highly frustrtating circular conversation with only one or two stock answers. Policy is to return parcel to sender after 5 days, so I am faced with the prospect of my purchased item being sent back to Ireland . This is the worst publiuc service I have ever encountered. If it werepossible togive zero stars , i would have.

Today, 8th February, package posted 23rd December still hasnt been returned or delivered. Customer service responded to my initial review, said that would sort it and then stopped responding. Atrocious service end to end .
Posted a package to Dublin on 23rd December, it still hasn't been delivered today, 22nd January. Its hanging around in Portlaoise being scanned over and over, but never leaving the building. When I contact customer service, they say sorry, we are very busy, it will be delivered soon, but that's been the story since January 8th when I started following up. They wont deliver it, and I am not allowed to collect it, so Im in limbo.
