Absolute scam
Absolute scam. Targeting children with “free” to then try and charge nearly £100 for one year. Disgraceful model. Should be ashamed!
While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE. Charged me for both monthly and annual subscription plus songbook thing I didn’t sign up for - all even though I cancelled one day into a 7 day free trial.
I subscribed last year for my daughter to use. I intended to use too but already had piano lessons. My daughter never really used it and tbh totally forgot until I found I had been charged by Paypal for another year on 28/09/25. I emailed Simply Piano them to say I had not been notified in advance about the payment so would like the sub cancelled and a refund. Within 13 minutes I had a confirmation of my paypal sub auto renew being cancelled, then 3 minutes later a notification by paypal to say I had a refund. I can't comment on their product as I never got around to use it but as far as refunds and customer service it gets a 5 star from me.
Edit: Changed to 3 stars because their customer support was extremely helpful and I believe the issue is resolved. It's still only 3 stars because cancelation was extremely difficult, was unavailable from PC login and because the whole debacle was made even worse by the only available support being on mobile formats where even typic back and forth to resolve the issues was a pain.
I don't know how much of the original issue was Apple's fault, but right now it does seem like these products are set up to be very difficult to unsubscribe from and customer service as inconvenient to access as possible, even if the actual teams are doing a great job helping.
___ Original review:
I loved learning with this product, but when I became unable to keep using it, there was no way for me to cancel. I tried again and again and kept getting billed and all refunds were refused, even as I kept trying to cancel again and asking for refunds, having not even used the app.
I guess I signed up for a free trial at some point, but they make it impossible to manage your account. I have an email showing that I spoke to customer support to cancel the account a year ago, and they claimed my account was cancelled. A year later and they suddenly charged me over £100 again. Dealing with the site is a nightmare.
There is no way to cancel this. Be careful.
