All the pick ups were on time or early. All the tours guides were great, very informative and extremely helpful. All the hotels were excellent but the Casa de Pagonia room #5 had an extremely small bathroom

It was our first trip in South America and it was an amazing experience. Inca Expert Travel particularly Maria done a fantastic job in planning our trip from beginning to the end. Such knowledgeable guides choices of hotels and safe and clean transportation along the way.
Everything was planned to the best. Our Amazon experience was outstanding.

I took a chance booking through Inca Expert Travel after reading numerous other positive reviews, and I am so glad I did. This was the most amazing trip, thanks to the careful and thoughtful planning of our advisor, Maria. She listened to what I wanted to do and made it all happen. The entire trip from start to finish went smoothly. Not only did we see beautiful sites, but we also learned so much about Peruvian history from each of our proud and passionate guides. I highly recommend Inca Expert Travel to anyone who wants a trip of a lifetime. After benefiting from Inca Expert Travel’s (IET) services for a magical tour in Peru back in December 2023, we returned for Bucket list tour to Chilean and Argentinian Patagonia. We were delighted to work with fabulous Maria José Castañeda on both occasions. Maria and IET created a thrilling itinerary including Santiago, Valparaiso, Puerto Natalis, Torres del Paine, El Chaltan, Buenos Aires and Colonia del Sacramento. We were well taken care of on luxurious private tours. We received essentially white glove service from arrival to departure . We loved our tours, tour guides and accommodations. We recommend Maria and IET wholeheartedly

This is our second trip working with Grecia Fuentes at Inca Experts and we are looking forward to a third. We went to Quito, Cotapaxi and the Galapagos in Ecuador and it was amazing!!!! The hotels, the tours, the guides were all excellent and if there was an issue the support team was right there to help. We never had to worry about permits or transportation as everything was handled for us. Such a nice way to really enjoy your vacation. Very happy travelers.

The guides were so well informed and really wonderful. The coordination with drivers and pick ups and hotel reservations was perfect. It was a wonderful trip which we will remember forever. The hotels were exceptional. And we were so lucky with perfect weather.

LIMA - The Capital
Hotel Pullman - The Pullman hotel was really elegant, in a good location in Miraflores, room was clean and we enjoyed the great variety at breakfast; we also enjoyed a Pisco Sour on the roof top pool. Lima Food Tour: It was a great walking tour and we enjoyed all the 8 places we went; the guide was very knowledgeable
AREQUIPA - Hotel Posada del Monasterio - The location was super central and fantastic; the rooms were less fancy than in Lima, but clean. The city was really a surprise (for us) as we were not expecting much and instead we liked the cathedral, the square, the Santa Catalina monastery and the shopping. Food is also good and refined.
COLCA Canyon - Incredible condors
We enjoyed the trip and company on the private bus, all chewing Coca leaves to go to 5000 mt.; the guides were kind and we loved the Casa de MamaYacchi: authentic and very cozy. We were lucky to se the condors and our guides were amazing - we also liked the stop in the little town of Maca.
CUZCO - The most beautiful city
Hotel Casa Andina- Just perfect as location, architecture stye and breakfast.
The city center is probably the most beautiful we have seen: we walked everywhere and we ate two times in the central square restaurant overseeing the plaza. The churches are beautiful to visit and we went in all of them event the one on the hill.
OLLANTAYTAMBO
We enjoyed the rafting on the river even if it was not difficult. After the rafting we went to eat in a buffet and they were playing music: it was magical.
On the way back we visited Ollantaytambo and it was GREAT. we loved the small three-wheelers taxi, the central plaza and the shopping.
Hotel Tierra Vida - Another incredible hotel in the middle of nature and with great views of the mountains. Our room was clean and very spacious; breakfast was also good. SUPER!
MACCHU PICCHU - One of the wonders of the world
Just incredible EVERYTHING: the train to get there, the village the people, the stray dogs and of course the ruins; we were so happy to have spent two days there and have experienced also Huayna Picchu.
The city is tiny, cute and - even if really touristic - we were able to find some souvenirs at the central market at a decent price. Restaurant and coffe bars are great: we ate at the Inka Wasi and it was excellent; we also had a great one hour massage.

Transportation and logistic was impeccable; Leila advised us very well and ALL the Inca Travel people and guides were super kind and hospitable.

First off, all of the drivers were early and very helpful. Next, the guides were outstanding. We enjoyed our visit to the pyramid in Lima, the historical central city tour, the Larco museum and especially the lunch in their restaurant afterwards. It may have been the best meal of our trip, and as foodies, we especially enjoyed the food tour. All of the guides spoke English well and really knew their stuff.

Peru was my 72nd country so we are very seasoned travelers and we can highly recommend Inca Expert Travel. You communicated with us clearly and on a timely basis. You responded to any of our questions quickly. Also, your restaurant recommendations were spot on. It was very convenient to just walk across the street from the JW Marriott to have dinner. Also the sunset views are hard to beat. The Marriott was a great hotel and I’m glad you booked us there.

We worked with Leila Dancuart and both she and Inca Expert Travel were superb in every way: timely, excellent communication, organized the trip very well, flexible for elements I wanted to change, and the overall quality of everything on the trip (from lodging to transportation to personnel) exceeded expectations. We spent a week in Cusco, Machu Picchu, and sites in between, and every element of the week was perfectly organized. I never take these things for granted, so when it goes as perfectly as it did I have great appreciation for all the work behind the scenes to organize this as professionally and as thoroughly as was done.

I couldn't say enough good things about Leila and Inca Expert Travel, and I highly recommend them to everyone.

Every detail was perfectly coordinated. No glitches entire trip. Guides were knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. Driver's were friendly and accommodating. Very efficient trip with many sites done in limited time.

I am a 60 year old, female solo traveler. I used Inca Expert to go to Peru and the Galapagos in Ecuador. I was concerned about all the logistics of this trip. Every thing was coordinated by Noelia. Planes, trains, tickets, hotels, transportation, guides were all taken care of for me. I just showed up. This made me feel confident and secure. All the in country folks were professional, thoughtful, and trustworthy experts. I felt that the investment was worthwhile. I would say that going to the Galapagos in the same trip may not be for everyone. Galapagos requires a certain degree of fitness and is a very active trip. I was glad I got to do both countries in this trip. It was a fantastic experience.

Every detail was perfect - from the tours to the cooking class to the hotels. Plus every guide & driver we worked with, arrived on time and was so informative.

Everything about the trip was perfect! The itinerary was well planned, all the drivers were safe, and the hotels were beautiful. They made everything so easy. We absolutely loved our guides- Enrique and Peter! Highly recommend them. So knowledgeable and fun!

There were also some travel disruptions that was not Inca Experts fault and they were very helpful and supportive.

Noelia crafted a great itinerary for us. They chose good hotels and guides, and were excellent at taking care of us during our trip. We always knew where to go next, and the couple of questions we had during our trip were promptly answered.

We had a great time and Inca Travel thought of everything. I appreciated not only the tours, guides and activity recommendations, but also all the little things like packing help, weather advice, immunizations, tip guides etc. We traveled over Christmas Holidays and it was smooth, easy and memorable. 5 stars!

Our RESERVATION EXPERIENCE was with
Melissa who was absolutely incredible and continually exceeded our customer service expectations.
We had to cancel our initial reservation as Huayna Picchu was closed in April due to the weather and this was where we were engaged so it was a necessary part of our anniversary trip. Without hesitation and with complete understanding, she rebooked our adventure.

We had to cancel a second time due to the bus related protests in September and again our travel plans were rebooked seamlessly.

In finalizing our third travel attempt, Melissa even double checked the Latam airlines tickets I personally booked and identified I had them on the incorrect day; Incredible service since I was the one responsible for that aspect of our trip.

Again, Melissa was phenomenal and set the example that others should follow. She should be commended for her personal and excellent service.

She is one of the main reasons we would again use Inca Expert Travel.

AIRPORTS, CONTACTS, and DRIVERS

All of the meeting points were seamless; all of the staff were very helpful, friendly, informative, and were always there in advance of our arrival. Another invaluable service and an extremely positive aspect of using Inca Expert.

Miguel was our initial point of contact in Cusco; he was very knowledgeable, provided us with our welcome packet and information while explaining everything.

Two of the drivers we remembered were Angel (two days with Karina) and Saul (transport back to Cuzco) and both were extremely careful drivers.

Our apologies as we don't remember her name but the representative in Machu Picchu who met us at the train was very thorough and helpful. She double checked all of our reservations and identified we didn't have our bus tickets. She made a quick call and had them sent to the hotel to have them printed for us. She provided excellent service and gave us excellent instructions!

HOTELS

Tambo del Inka in the Sacred Valley was an incredible property. A phenomenal experience with an incredible breakfast buffet. True 5 star accommodation.

The Palacio del Inka, during our last night in Ollantaytambo, was also a wonderful Marriott property. The food and staff here was equally incredible. Another 5 star accommodation.

GUIDES

We simply cannot say enough good things about Karina. What an absolutely wonderful person and guide! She was extremely kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable. She was truly incredible in every respect and made our experience so wonderful. We would highly recommend her without reservation for any other travelers. She made sure that everything was absolutely perfect. Without question, she is another main reason to recommend Inca Expert.
