My experience with Locamoi.fr was disappointing. After paying €1 for what was advertised as a trial, I was automatically charged €39 the following week—without any clear warning or upfront disclosure of this price. There was no notification or email beforehand about the charge, and the subscription cost was hidden in the terms instead of being displayed clearly.
Additionally, the service itself did not work as expected: property listing links redirected me to unrelated homepages, making the platform unusable for my search.
When I reached out to customer service, they told me it was my responsibility to understand the automatic renewal and pointed to their terms and conditions. Despite explaining that the service was unusable and the charge not properly disclosed, my request for a refund was denied.
This lack of transparency and poor user experience felt misleading and unfair. French law requires companies to be upfront about subscription fees and to notify customers before automatic renewals—which did not happen in my case.
I do not recommend this service and urge others to be cautious before signing up.
