Unreliable mess

Absolutely do not recommend due to unreliability.

I booked with Mover to move all my stuff within the Copenhagen area (NV to Vesterbro) and got a cancellation 30 minutes before the latest time they were supposed to arrive. Their excuse was that they had no other drivers for my time, but they said they might have something at 14:00 in the afternoon. I agreed and in the end they also cancelled on me. This all happened on a Friday. In the end, I had to book with another company that was much faster and more reliable.

Consider having an actual confirmation feature and contact person, this booking setup with no confirmation or any information is a terrible business model.

Horrible service - don't waste your time on their unreliability.

Answer: how would there be an order number since you canceled everything? I called 3x yesterday and got no solution. Is there any right now after sharing my experience on Trustpilot?

I'm asking because I would very much like to investigate what happened yesterday. But if we have made a withdrawn for the trip and not only a reservation you would have a order number and that's why I asked for this. But a profile-id or email for your profile I can also use that.

It was a very busy day yesterday for our dispatchers and I know we had to cancelled some trips during the day, but you should of course get an explanation to why we did.

If you have a profile-id or email I would be happy to look into the case and see if we have made a withdraw or if the money is only reserved and cancelled from our end.

The delivery guy was very bold

I contacten IKEA and they told me that they gave Mover the job to deliver in our home and not in the curbside. At this moment I leave the review at the current state.

Ok, so what you are basically telling us is that we paid IKEA for delivery over the threshold of our front door but IKEA only gave you the order to Mover to deliver to the first threshold of the building? Is that a correct summary?

Thank you for investigating this case. Here is the order number from IKEA: 1515148435. IKEA initially offered us to refund the delivery costs, but after the lie of your delivery person they told us that we get nothing. We do not want our money back. We only want justification. A deal is a deal. Please note: We live in an apartment building, but on the ground floor and we have paid for delivery to the threshold of our front door.

The delivery guy was very bold. Should brought the goods over our front door but put the goods in the street and when we told him that we paid for bringing the goods inside he waved goodbuy with his hands and shouted: “ Call IKEA” and jumped in his van and drove away. We indeed called IKEA and IKEA told us that the driver said that he put the goods inside our house which is a big lie. Do not do business with Mover in the Netherlands.

I'm really sorry about how you felt and if there has been any misunderstanding regarding the delivery with IKEA. With your order-id from IKEA it shows it's a one-person delivery which means our drivers are meant to deliver the goods on the curbside and not all the way to the door.

I'm really sorry if there has been a misunderstanding between you and IKEA, but our driver was only delivering to your curbside.
I'm sorry our driver didn't tell you this but just told you to call IKEA.

I really hope this answer helps with the misunderstanding between you and our driver. As this inquiry might be more meant for IKEA is there any chance you possibly could remove this from Mover's Trustpilot and instead report the matter on IKEA Netherlands Trustpilot.

Big difference in money quoted and charged. Unacceptable!!!

The amount quoted to me at the time of booking the car was DKK 188, however the final amount that was deducted from my account was DKK 439.94, which is 3 times the original amount. Also, I had booked a car as the total weight of my luggage was less than 100kgs, but the driver came in a van. This is unacceptable thus look into this complaint and refund the difference amount.

Great Idea, Poor Execution: A Review of Mover's App Functionality

This company has a unique concept, and I appreciate its existence. If possible, I would prefer to book my "moves" through Mover's call center - then hands down - I would give it a 5-star rating. However, the company operates primarily through its app, which has many useful features but is also quite buggy and unreliable in its core functionality. For example, the driver's location on the map is often incorrect, and it can be challenging to determine their actual whereabouts. Additionally, I encountered a confusing error message while attempting to register an account. After contacting customer support, I learned that I already had an account and needed simply to reset my password.

Needed a sparepart delivered as quicky as possible. we told that it war Urgent and was promissed to be delivered from pick-up to us in 1 hour. Didn`t arrive as promissed, they took another customer first. big loss of production and money.

After the lift (that cost 462DKK), I have surprisingly received an invoice and got automatically charged 100DKK extra in a separate transaction above the amount that was stated in the app.

Beware of these services and use alternatives if possible.
