Cancelled insurance with no notification- their mistake

I renewed my caravan insurance with Ping in June 2025. I had an accident and damaged my caravan in January 2026 and when I submitted a claim they told me they had cancelled my policy in November 2025 when an internal review highlighted an issue that was their error and they should, never have issued my policy. They said they had emailed me to tell me of the immediate cancellation. I DID NOT recieve any email from them. I was therefore unknowingly uninsured for 3 months and considerably out of pocket as my damage is not covered. Complaint submitted will wait to hear the outcome and if not favourable will go to Financial Ombudsman

Tried to cancel a policy last year and…

Tried to cancel a policy last year and was told that it couldn't be done. This year, no notification, no documentation and the policy was renewed, without my permission. Because I didn't know about it untill I got my credit card bill, then it was then outside the 14day cancellation time.
Tried phoning, no customer service so had to do everything by email. Was told "too late & no, you can't have a refund"
What a load of cowboys, DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THESE PEOPLE

unable to cancel policy no customer service

I have received an email stating my caravan was being auto renewed which I never agreed too. There is no contact number to speak to anyone direct. When emailing customer service you just get an automatic email informing you to log into your account. I can not reset my password and therefore can not get it.

Would never recommend this insurance company. still trying to cancel an unwanted policy!!!

My Caravan insurance doubled - no explanation

My Caravan insurance renewal cost went up by 86% - yes - 86% increase on their "autorenew" something that I never agreed to - must be a default somewhere on their website. When I asked why the massive increase, Pink insure advised "all renewal quotes are in line with the standard price increase" . When I questioned this further, I did not get an answer? I had to figure out how to switch "auto renewal off" and go elswhere for insurance which I did and a lot cheaper.

On 4 July 2025, I contacted your roadside assistance team regarding a flat tyre. I was informed that the puncture could not be repaired, and I was presented with two options:
Have my car towed to a local garage (on a Friday evening), or purchase a replacement tyre at my own expense.
Unfortunately, neither option was acceptable, particularly given the urgency and simplicity of the issue.

As a result, I decided to cancel my policy with Ping Insure and have since renewed with the AA, who are able to provide immediate flat tyre repair or replacement at the roadside.

Super efficient breakdown

I have car breakdown with ping and my daughter broke down 10 mins away from our home.
The logging of the breakdown was super efficient and they kept us informed every 20 mins of where the recovery was upto. Recovered and car dropped off at our choice of garage within 70 mins after our first phone call. Excellent service.

Absolute scam.

Absolute scam.
I bought a recovery insurance from them an year ago for £20. And I received a mail from them saying it's going to auto renew at £40 and the only way to prevent that is through the website.
The website seems to have been developed by 5 year olds. When I toggle off the auto-renew, there's no save button to press. I logged out and logged back in to see if it has changed state and it had not. After trying this for couple of times, I deleted my existing policy to see if that helps - but the renewal quote was still there with auto-renew active. There was no option to reject or cancel the quote either.
So I ended up freezing my payment card. And today, a couple of weeks earlier than my policy was to expire, I received a notification for payment failure!
They are trying to take my money despite me cancelling the policy!
Stay away from this scam.
