Cancelled insurance with no notification- their mistake
I renewed my caravan insurance with Ping in June 2025. I had an accident and damaged my caravan in January 2026 and when I submitted a claim they told me they had cancelled my policy in November 2025 when an internal review highlighted an issue that was their error and they should, never have issued my policy. They said they had emailed me to tell me of the immediate cancellation. I DID NOT recieve any email from them. I was therefore unknowingly uninsured for 3 months and considerably out of pocket as my damage is not covered. Complaint submitted will wait to hear the outcome and if not favourable will go to Financial Ombudsman
