Part way through the legal process to purchase our new home, our solicitor/conveyancer, PPL, chose to take on the seller as their client.
We have no idea why the seller chose to change solicitor mid-process to ours.
PPL didn't even have the courtesy to call us up or e-mail us directly about this, they just uploaded a letter to their portal telling us we had to agree to the arrangement or they wouldn't proceed.
With PPL choosing to represent the seller, it is clearly not in our best interests as buyers given the clear conflict of interest (in our view) and appearance of a conflict of interest (an objective view).
Left utterly distraught that we now have to restart the process with a new solicitor and feel very let down by PPL.
No idea if they will do the right thing and return the on-boarding fee we paid them given this caused by them.

Thanks to Licensed Conveyancer, Priti Mehta, the process of buying my house was as smooth as it could be (despite the absolute nightmare seller). The eWay Portal really helped with communications and the required transactions, keeping me (a total novice) fully up to date and on track. Priti helpfully and patiently responded to my many questions, which assisted with what would otherwise have been a much more painful process. Would definitely recommend!

honestly couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Premier property lawyers and Karen Coaker. From start to finish everything was handled professionally, efficiently, and with genuine care.
Communication was clear throughout, any questions were answered promptly, and the whole process felt smooth and stress-free. It’s so refreshing to deal with a company that actually does what they say they will.
I would absolutely recommend them and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future.
Thank you for such a positive experience!

An absolute shambles of a company. Rejected a deed of variation letter as they were not happy with the wording so instead of going back to the waiting solicitors and say what wording they want they sit on it for weeks ignore everyone chasing then eventually after weeks of avoiding it they decide to say they don't know what wording they want on the letter. Seriously??? A huge firm that specalises in these cases don't know what wording they want on a deed of variation letter!!! Absolutely useless and they have now caused the chain to collapse!!!!

Sadly we are being let down by this company. Our first time buyer is using Premier. We are the sellers and it is just our property in the chain. With the sale agreed back in sept ’25 and my responses to all enquiries submitted by our solicitors to Premier in December why are they still finding things left undone? And I might say they are finding them one by one with weeks in between. I understand that no one person at Premier is dedicated to a client but pick up files randomly. They have lost my solicitors replies and they’ve needed to be sent again. We are in desperate need of the proceeds from this sale to fund care home costs. Applying for a bridging fund is proving to be excessively challenging. I find it hard to believe Premier are scoring high on Trust Pilot.

We were put in contact with Premier Property Lawyers by our Estate Agent and decided it was best for us to go with them and we’re so glad we did. Andrew Self was amazing throughout the process and the online portal is so easy to use and we found that this made the process so much easier. Being able to do everything in our own time and just log in through our phone, getting notifications when we had new actions etc it was just great for us we found it so useful. As I said earlier Andrew was amazing and updated and supported us throughout the process. Very professional and would recommend to anyone to use Premier Property Lawyers.

We had the worst experience. Purchased a leasehold with an existing underlease which meant two titles. Purchase was conditional on the titles being merged on completion. Fast forward 18 months and we are selling - Premier Property Lawyers “forgot” to merge the titles, which meant we had to go searching for the previous owner to transfer the second underlease title to us. They were extremely unhelpful, I had to call and email multiple times a week, they caused so much stress I was off work sick.
They also forgot to send any deeds to our management company which incurred so many costs, they also didn’t assist us when the previous owner didn’t comply with the 12 month post completion conditions. Don’t use this firm.

What we agreed at the outset was done correctly and on-time. I have bought and sold over a dozen houses and Premier Property Lawyers were a lot more pleasant to deal with than lawyers typically are. There is something odd about the legal profession that fills it's staff with hubris when dealing with clients. But Premier Property Lawyers were much better to deal with than their peers in the legal profession so have the market cornered and I will certainly give ten out of ten and recommend to others.

I recently completed the remortgage of my property through Premier Property Lawyers, and the entire experience was exceptionally smooth from start to finish. My case handler, Taylor Smyth, provided prompt, clear, and proactive support throughout the process. Taylor consistently responded to my queries within an hour, guided me through each step, and ensured I remained well-informed right up to completion.
The dashboard/website used to share case updates and track progress was very user‑friendly and easy to navigate, which made the whole journey even more seamless.
Premier Property Lawyers offered a competitive price and delivered excellent service. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable conveyancing firm — and you would be particularly fortunate to have Taylor managing your case.

I was able to buy my first home using this service. If you are a first-time buyer in the UK, I would recommend considering them. The only downside is that the initial quote is very competitive, but as your case progresses, additional costs are added. I’m not sure if this is specific to this service or common with others. Overall, I was happy with what I paid in the end.
