I em very disappointed of my plant

I em very disappointed with the plant , I have received recently.
Firstly: delivery was delayed by one day.
Secondly: the palm condition is not, what I have paid for and expected for!
Few leaves have turned already into the yellow color!
One, young leave is broken.

Yellowing leaves and the occasional damaged frond can happen during transit, especially with more delicate varieties, but we appreciate how disheartening it is to receive a plant in less than perfect condition.

We responded to your message yesterday requesting an image of the plant so that we could assess its condition and provide appropriate support. We have not yet received this, but once you are able to share a photo, our team will review the issue promptly and assist you further.

SENT ME DAMAGED PLANT

Extremely disappointing experience with this company
One plant arrived with central stem broken & missing so it had been dispatched this way
Complained immediately after receiving delivery , multiple e mails sent & ignored
Eventually after about four e mails I received a reply asking for photo of damage sent photo immediately same again ignored company eventually replied saying no photo I sent photo approx six times before they acknowledged
I ask for exchange plant
Refused
Offer 25 % refund I refuse
Then they tell me to return plant they refuse to organise a collection which most suppliers do
Want me to return plant at my expense
Now approx 2 weeks later another plant that came the same day is dying it cost £38
No point in making another complaint
Avoid Prickle Plants

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear how disappointed you’ve felt throughout this experience, that’s never what we want for any of our customers.

We’ve reviewed the correspondence, and our records show that we did not receive any images in the first two emails you sent. Once the photos did come through, we responded and assisted straight away. We can provide screenshots of this if you would like them.

Regarding the plant itself, the Medallion Prayer Plant does not have a single central stem, it naturally grows from multiple stalks. The image you sent showed that one stalk had broken. As this type of plant grows from an underground rhizome, the loss of one stalk is cosmetic only and does not affect the plant’s ability to produce new, healthy growth. The rest of the plant appeared very healthy with strong foliage.

We offered a 25% refund to reflect the cosmetic damage, which we felt was fair given that the plant would naturally replace the lost leaf. We also advised once you declined the refund offer that if you were unhappy with the plant because of the broken stalk, you were welcome to return it to us for a full refund.

We’re sorry that this resolution did not meet your expectations, and we’re also sorry to hear that another plant is now struggling. If you would like us to take a look at that one, please do get in touch so we can help.

Plant dying within one week of delivery

I received my order and immediately unpacked it. I placed in a position as advised, out of direct sunlight, lightly watering it and spraying it lightly. Having followed the instructions I am most disappointed that the plant is dying, leaves are turning yellow and falling. I have contacted the seller for advice. This was sent and there is nothing in the advice which differs to what I have done. I have asked for a refund or a replacement but they have not done this very disappointed

When you contacted us, we shared care advice to help support the plant. As live plants can take time to acclimatise after being packaged and transported, particularly with fluctuating winter temperatures, it’s not unusual for them to show signs of stress before settling.

We haven’t received any correspondence regarding a request for a replacement or refund. Had we received this, we would of course have responded and assisted further. Please do get back in touch with us directly so we can review the condition of the plant and help resolve this for you.

There was zero explanation for the smaller missing plant from the order too. Customer service was slow to answer, and also refused to collect the damaged plant, so I had to pay for a garden waste disposal. Stay away if time & money are of value to you.

We’re also very sorry that you felt let down by the level of service you received. After reviewing the correspondence, our records show that you first contacted us on the 29th of January at 10:36pm, and we responded the following morning on the 30th of January at 10:05am, then again on the next available working day, the 2nd of February. We apologised for the condition of the plant and offered either a replacement or a refund, and a refund was issued as requested.

We’re genuinely sorry for the inconvenience, the disappointment, and the extra hassle this caused, it’s never the experience we want for our customers. Your feedback is appreciated and will be used to help us improve.

I ordered a plant as a Christmas gift

I ordered a plant as a Christmas gift, but unfortunately the delivery was not handled with sufficient care. When I opened the package, I found that most of the branches had fallen off. The plant cost £50.00 and originally had seven stems; it has now been reduced to just one remaining stem due to the damage sustained during transit. I then had to go away, so I did not have the opportunity to raise a complaint at the time.

The plants looked healthy (although some leaves damaged) when they arrived.

But since then, one has shed their leaves rather a lot, despite being cared for well.
