Liked the reputation and the fact that it is a British brand. However the amended waist adjustment on the Torque men's trousers is too flimsy and not fit for purpose. A simple belt and buckle mechanis... See more

Bought the £500 rab mythic G. Wore it at most 15 times in London ! The zip broke after 15 months and they charged £38 to fix it. The jacket is billed as the ultimate technical treeline jacket. It is flimsy rubbish but the after sales service is awful slow and expensive avoid this firm they have really changed and turn out rubbish
🚨 Alert 🚨
It was not good, delivery was too late not at correct time, items are burned and not good in test,it was very bad experience from rab delivery 🚚 ❌❌❌🙅
I purchased a RAB Nebulus Pro Puffer Jacket for £150.... first time i used it it was -3c walked for around 2 hrs , when i took it off the inside was saturated and my wool pullover soaking .....it wasnt raining ! so much condensation ! The second time i used it it was around 2c, moderate rain and wind....yet again soaked ...but from the outside ! I cant say its much use for hiking ....probably only ok for walking about the shopping mall....very disappointed in this jacket !! I have a 4 year old Jack Wolfskin Jaket that cost £70 .....so much better !!
I don't know about the jacket because it is lost somewhere in FED EX land. However, I ordered from their website specifically because i thought if there was an issue I would get good customer service.
However, they do not answer the phone, and when it says leave a VM it disconnects. On the website - where i created an account it says there is an error, which i know is not true- and the email to reset the password isn't forthcoming.
Purchased Rab Men's Resolution Down Jacket. Very disappointed a hood that looks and feels ridiculous, full of velcro fastening (not mentioned in features) Advert boasts: "An incredibly warm and down-filled jacket well suited to the extremes of temperature and conditions" It cost £397.47 and trust me it's no better than the jacket I purchased from a well known French retailer at a cost of £125. Having just recieved a response from Rab I'm going to change my rating fro two down to one. How in the hell can small patches of velcro stop snow drift? A hood over the helmet, nonsense it will restrict your vision

Rab has had its day. What was once a great British brand has now been ruined by investment capital and fast growth. You can tell from reviews and customer experience all over social media that quality issues are rife. The original company was truly grounded in the outdoors and had integrity, now marketing rules supreme and knock it out cheap and fast is the mantra. It’s sad to see a good British company lose sight of what made it great.
Montane is now the only (major) British company worth buying from; and they are very good. Rab is a has been and will eventually fail because they have lost sight of what led to their success. Just a matter of time.
Avoid Rab if you appreciate quality, integrity and good service. And by the way Rab, when someone publishes a review on your website, leave it on there. Reviews can make you better if you’re honest, if you don’t publish them it says everything about your ethics….

Disappointing for a supposed high performance down jacket. Overall very poor value compared to other brands I’ve owned including North Face, Helly Hansen, Mountain Equipment and even Uniqlo. Rab Carrington should be ashamed.
Three key issues:
1) The baffles hardly have any down in them - they are limp and deflated unlike the Mountain Equipment one that own
2) The logo has come off on the breast and the back - after just 2 years of intermittent winter wear. This clearly advertises their poor quality to everyone and other reviewers have mentioned this too. They can’t even be proud of their logo (!)
3) The material is not feather proof - the down sticks through inside and outside. And if you wear this with a woollen jumper, be prepared to look like a patchy feathered chicken once you take your jacket off. Ridiculous! This did not happen with my other down jackets … not even the much cheaper Uniqlo. This is sadly also an issue mentioned by other reviewers.
Avoid, avoid, avoid.

I purchased my second Rab Jacket after having the first for around 5 years, in that time I had a patch repaired, a zip replaced and cuffs replaced. The repair time previously was so quick.
This time the repair has been so slow, it has returned today and I cannot believe how far the standards have dropped. Rab have generally placed a sticker over the rip on jacket. It’s not even the same colour and will 100% wear off. 3 weeks and £25 to place a stick on my jacket. I would never have paid for this, I’ll be embarrassed to wear this jacket.

A friend sent his RAB jacket back to get the right sleeve mended as small holes started to appear, however once the replacement jacket came back the jacket seemed very lightweight, totally different from the one sent away , same style but just not as I expected, he’s not happy !

I own two Rab jackets (Nebula Pro and Xenair Alpine Light). Both developed peeling logos within about a year. Last year, my Xenair already had a peeling Primaloft logo, and now the Rab logo itself is deteriorating on both jackets. This raises real questions about the durability of Rab products.
The Montreal repair workshop told me that any item dropped off after December 1st may not be returned before January 5th. That is about one month without a winter jacket for a manufacturing defect, which is unreasonable. The workshop was rigid, with no flexibility, and customer service gave repetitive, generic replies that did not address the core issue.
Rab promotes its “Rab Promise” and lifetime warranty, but my experience shows a clear gap between the marketing and the reality.
This situation highlights a real gap between Rab’s marketing promises and the actual ownership experience.

Great quality clothing.Had my old Rab coat for years and it served me very well .No problems with it whatsoever. Washed very well.
Time for a new one now . Highly recommend them .😊
Paid £33 for the wash service of a RAB Down jacket. I requested the logos were replaced as the were peeling. They replaced them with a different colour (which is fine) but the new ones are not stuck properly and are hanging off straight out of the return packaging.
RAB service centre and customer service as not getting back to me at all, will approach card company for a charge back.

RAB jacket repair service!! Cheap prices! Absolute game changer!
...And I thought I couldn't love RAB any more
After 3 Rab jacket pocket zips splitting from the bottom I have to say I’m not trying anymore.
I work outside and the outside pocket is an essential point for me.

It's wonderful to find a company aligned with nature and working to keep our bodies warm, healthy and outdoors! I appreciate the attention to using recycled products and reducing the toxic load. I am warm, stylish and living in my values with the Rab logo on my heart.
Had it 4 weeks. Kept in wardrobe. Only went out to restaurants in it. Got it out the wardrobe to find a rip in the coat arm. £450 of coat ripped within 4 weeks and not even used for its desired purpose of walking etc
Rab won’t sort this through warranty. What on earth is this coat meant for??
I’ve gone down the repair route. £23 which is not even my point. It’s the fact such a reputable company are quick to refuse help given I know for a fact I didn’t cause no rip.

Bought at RAB jacket, Cirrus Flex 2. Initial thoughts were it was decent, then after a period of time, just outside of warranty the stitching started to come apart on the sleeves & the RAB branding on the front started to peel of, initially showing AB then the B then totally fell off. Wonder if thats by design so folk can't identify the make of the jacket when the stitching is coming apart. Would I buy another, not after this experience no.

Sent a near immaculate down jacket for a wash for it to come back completely ruined!
The insulation is clumped up in EVERY section.
I’ve bought A LOT of Rab equipment over the years. Needless to say, I’ll be going elsewhere from now on.

Sadly, my experience with the RAB customer service department has been very poor! My Rab waterproof, which is within the warranty period, was leaking through the back taped seam when I used it in heavy rain. I have only used it about 6 times. The customer service department's first response was to tell me to reproof it despite, me telling them it had had minimal use. After 9 days of e mails, they eventually asked me when I had bought it and confirmed it was within the warranty period and the best option would be to send it back so they could test it - letting me know the process took about 3 weeks before they would be able to tell me the outcome. My experience has been very frustrating, unsatisfactory and I felt I wasn't being listened to. I eventually gave up and took the waterproof back to a Cotswold Outdoors branch where I had purchased it - the staff member was great, explaining about the warranty and the process - I am waiting to hear the outcome! This experience with the Rab customer service has certainly made me think twice about buying more RAB items - a real shame!!!
