Hellman's Mayo new formula

Bought Hellman's Mayonnaise with its new formula.
It was awful. greasy and sort of stale but also horribly bland tasting. Far too poor to accompany any further food consumption
Complained to Unilever by email, their reply though polite could be summed up as "Sorry you didn't like the new formula, it's a matter of taste, so tough luck"

No offer of a refund. So, guess which of their products I won't be buying again ?Hellman's

Sticky TRESemmé Brush-handles

I purchased six various TRESemmé brushes (by Unilever), and after just 18 months, the handles became sticky and unusable, despite being stored with great care and cleaned regularly. I contacted their customer service with detailed explanations and even a video showing the issue.
Their response? A polite but dismissive email blaming things like product buildup or moisture exposure—even though I had taken all reasonable precautions. They refused to offer a refund or replacement, citing the age of the brushes and lack of packaging/batch info.
Frankly, I expect better quality from a reputable brand, selling expensive brushes at around £12 per brush. A brush handle should not degrade like this within such a short time. Very disappointed in both the product and the lack of accountability. I won’t be purchasing TRESemmé brushes again.

Vieaneta ice cream tastes watery…

Vieaneta ice cream has shrunk in size for the cost and tastes watery. I remember the original vieaneta,it was so creamy and lots of chocolate bits. Very poor quality and should be removed from production.

After receiving emails to enter competitions to win cleaning bundles to which I couldn’t enter the link doesn’t work I got in touch with Unilever sent them the email I had and their response was I should have scrolled down and followed a link I DID THAT they made me feel really stupid as if I didn’t know what I was doing absolute cheek of this huge company

Unilever Colombia They have a Rexona…

Unilever Colombia They have a Rexona gel for men, and this product stains all my new clothes. Unbelievable. After I complained to them, they told me they were going to send me another product. but they won't send compensation for clothes.I did contact Unilever UK, and they told me this has nothing to do with them—another country, another company.

Disgusting Find, and Complicated Redress Process

I found human hairs in a Walls icecream product. I phoned the Unilever Careline and was sent two links that I was told would result in two £5 vouchers as compensation. Tho the find in itself was disgusting, I soon discovered that, in order for the links to work, you have to access the store internet to use them, which I would never normally do for security reasons. A page then appeared that instructed me to photo the receipts of the Unilever products I'd bought and send off the photo, even tho at that stage, I hadn't even started shopping. The Asda staff were v helpful but even they rolled their eyes and suggested that the process is made complicated to put off customers from claiming. Unilever/Walls need to realise that in reporting the gross find, it is I who is doing THEM a favour.

I recently applied for a Legal Counsel…

I recently applied for a Legal Counsel position at Unilever and wanted to share my frustrating experience. The process started off well enough - I had a video interview, completed a practical exercise, and even made it to an in-person interview. The people I spoke with seemed professional and I left feeling optimistic.

They told me I'd hear back within two weeks, but that came and went with no word. I started following up by email after that, but despite reaching out multiple times over a month and a half, I never got any response. The radio silence was really disheartening, especially after putting so much time and effort into the application process.

You'd think a big company like Unilever would have their act together when it comes to recruitment. I've heard they use fancy AI tools and whatnot to improve the candidate experience. But clearly something fell through the cracks in my case.

Being left hanging like that with zero feedback just made me feel like they didn't value me as a candidate at all. I know ghosting happens sometimes in job searches, but I expected better from such a well-known global brand. Goes to show that even the big players can really drop the ball when it comes to basic communication and common courtesy in hiring.

The whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm still shaking my head at how poorly they handled it. You'd hope for more professionalism from a company of that size and reputation.

By all means

By all means, a corrupt corporation acting in ways that look and feel similar to what China has done to Hong Kong.
They can't follow a simple agreement without trying to bully their way through Ben & Jerry's.
Unilever is, by definition, supporting corruption, undemocratic values, and licking the boots of a dictator.
I recommend that everyone boycott all its brands indefinitely.

Appalling customer service

On two occasions concerning totally separate issues I contacted Unilever customer service via email/ on line queries form. On both occasions my efforts have been ignored.
Regarding their customer service, this company deserves a zero star rating!!
