On 06.01.2026 = €97.50 I paid to re-connent fee (Einschaltungsgebuehr). Yet today, 15. JANUARY 2026, 10 DAYS LATER and with their confirmation of payment, VATTENFALL appears to have failed to advise Hamburg's electrical network to remove the seal and put me back on the grid.
I AM STILL WITHOUT ELECTRICITY.
In total I have paid them EUR 776.84 for a mere 3 months usage in 2025. What my neighbours x 2 working from home, pay in 1 year!
Does Vattenfall has difficulty contacting Hamburg electrical network? And further, if URGENT, more costs will be incurred.
What is the waiting time for URGENT ?
I cancelled my contract in December 2025 in spite of being a CUSTOMER FOR 25 YEARS. This Trumpian-like, imperialistic behaviour is unacceptable and I know better because -
I am from Asia and where I have lived for many years. Vattenfall could learn a great deal from the way things are done in this part of the world; friendly, courteous, service orientated and highly efficient.
Is it any wonder that Asia is leaping forward in huge strides.
