The experience at the Bangalore VFS centre was extremely good. Mr pavan was very helpful.
New Location and Application Process
The new Astoria location is the best choice. The worst part of the experience is trying to book an appointment. This didn’t happen during my most recent visit, but previously—when I was applying for a tourist visa—I wasn’t able to check available dates on two separate occasions. Each time, the system blocked me, and I had to email support just to regain access and sign in again.
I understand you’re trying to prevent bots, but the current approach is also preventing genuine applicants from using the system.

The agent at desk 6 for Washington DC
The agent at desk 6 for Washington DC - Portugal visas on Feb 10 was really efficient, calm and friendly. This made the process really easy and it reduced my stress. I did not feel rushed or scrutinized. One thing is that I noticed on the VFS global receipt that my visa category was marked as residence permit, but I applied for an E6 youth mobility visa, which is temporary since I only plan to stay for under 12 months. That was all listed in my application and paperwork, but was curious about this. I will also send an email to the VFS helpline email. Thank you!

I'm a student in Quebec and want to attend a conference in France. For one month, I have been trying every day and every 30 minutes to book an appointment with VSFglobal, but there are no slots available. I call them and write to the company, but nobody answers or helps me. All my documents are ready, but I'm missing my chance to attend the conference because there is no slot available for over a month. Besides that, the appointment website is always down; after 2-3 tries, they redirect you, and it only opens after a couple of hours. This also makes a booking worse than it is. The whole process is so disappointing and frustrating.

The worst visa center in Azerbaijan is VFS GLOBAL Italy… The worst customer care service, they don’t accept any rules, they don’t care about customers, every day are new decisions and no care about our problems with this center.

Real mess and no explanation where to go/queue!
It is a real mess in the building (Birmingham for Dutch passport renewal)! You have to wait for someone to call you inside around your appointment time and they drop you in the middle of the mess not telling you that you have to turn around and queue towards the exit where the desk was. The man checked my paperwork and i told him to take care with the marriage certificate because it was the original! He just checked the papers and scattered them all over the desk and gave me a number and told me to go through the door opposite of the entrance and wait for my number to be called. i was still trying to collect all my papers and the man was already helping the next person and was also scattering that person their papers on top of my originals! They don't seem to care! Through the door there were 2 rows of seats and 5 desks behind curtains from which only 3 were in use. My appointment was at 12pm and i was attended just over 1.30pm! I had passport pictures taken elsewhere and were according to the Dutch rules, but at the VFS they said the pictures were rejected and had to pay 12 pounds to take new pictures inside the small area behind the desk! I now have 5 strips of passport pictures because she had to remake the pictures over and over! Also had to fill in paperwork when there is NO space to even put a paper down and fill it in! Finger printer scanner on the left and a pen holder glued on the right which left no space for me to fill the papers in correctly. The service was for Dutch passport renewal and the people working there don't know any word in Dutch and asked me to translate what was on her screen! Luckily this is only once every 10 years! Next time i will go back to the Netherlands to get my passport renewed. Never again in this messy place!
