Flight delays and cancellations…
Flight delays and cancellations recently, gave me $200 credit vouchers but they won’t accept them for use on a flight already booked so are of no use.
If you are thinking of flying with this mob I would suggest walking, swimming or canoeing would be more pleasant.
Nasty company, avoid and hope they go out of business so better companies fill the void 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Premium Seat bait & switch, Shame on Delta
I paid +$500 extra for a Premium Select window seat, but Delta switched my seat to a middle seat, center last aisle, without notifying me, possibly to eliminate unsold middle seats tickets. Delta offered a few thousand miles as compensation and I declined as I would never have purchased that incredibly uncomfortable seat. This is a bait & switch practice that Delta should be shared of, and every passenger should be aware of.
Nightmare with Delta Airlines …
My granddaughter booked a flight to Japan to visit her boyfriend who is in the Navy. She was to have a hour stop in Detroit. They all of a sudden had a delay which was causing her to miss the only flight to Japan. She had to go find someone to help her and others because no one was at the gate. She ended up changing airlines. The whole problem was timing arriving in Japan. Delta was supposed to have a voucher for a hotel room when she arrived but guess what no one was around from Delta when she got there. This was her first time traveling by herself.
Horror experience from start to finish
Horror experience from start to finish, bumping from flight without compensation, delay baggage, lost baggage , BEX delivery with psycho driver, complete ignorance , nasty land personal , BUT I DID SURVIVE
One of the worst International…
One of the worst International Airlines. left me hanging at the Paris airport along with the rest of the plane ful of passengers from 1500 until 0300. Never again!
Low maintenance - disrespectful conduct
Don’t let people board into a defective airplane to keep them stuck inside the plane!!!
DL 0105 February 5ht 2026 presented fuel system problema but Delta let passengers board the plane for a 2 hour inside the aircraft on-ground experience….
Worst airline experience ever, £2.7K out of pocket
Sent my case to Atlanta instead of Brazil
Then London instead of Brazil
Currently £2,700 out of pocket because of them and now pursuing legal action.
Purchased a first class seat which…
Purchased a first class seat which didn’t recline or move. Asked for ONLY the difference between cabin & first class. The response was “you sat in the seat so we can’t make refunds”. There were NO other seats in first class available. Basically, I was punished for being a kind considerate traveler- here is the response-
I also hear your concern about how the process works and why it may feel unfair. To clarify, refunds for seat issues are based on whether there is a fare difference between the seat purchased and the seat actually used. In your case, even though the seat did not function as expected, you remained in the same seat type that was originally purchased. Because of that, there is no fare difference to calculate, and Delta Air Lines does not authorize our Refunds team to issue compensation when the passenger occupies the same purchased seat category.
I truly wish I could submit this request for you, but we are required to follow Delta Air Lines’ refund policy, and it does not allow exceptions in this situation.
Cheryl, we appreciate your business and we look forward to welcoming you onboard again soon.

L********

Missed Connection and Inadequate Support from Delta
I traveled with Delta on January 5th from Orlando to San Luis Potosí with a connection in Atlanta. Unfortunately, the Orlando flight was delayed, which caused us to miss our connecting flight. While disruptions can happen, the way Delta handled the situation was disappointing.
Delta rebooked us on a route to San Luis Potosí via Mexico City — a significantly longer and illogical itinerary that required flying further away only to come back again. We ultimately had to change this ourselves to secure a direct flight, adding more inconvenience to an already frustrating experience.
The customer service from Delta staff was particularly poor. On board the Orlando–Atlanta flight, we politely asked for assistance to deplane earlier due to our tight connection. We were told that this was not possible because most passengers also had connections. When we finally managed to exit the plane, we ran to our gate in Atlanta, only to find that boarding was nearly closed. While Delta allowed a passenger in a wheelchair to board, they refused to let us through, despite us being right there in time. No explanation was provided, and the Delta representative simply stopped engaging with us altogether.
As a result of Delta’s delays and lack of support, we incurred unexpected expenses, including a hotel stay, meals, toiletries, and a change of clothes — costs we had not planned for.
Overall, while flight delays can occur, the lack of empathy, communication, and reasonable rebooking options made this a very frustrating experience with Delta.
I wish l can give -0 starts
I wish l can give -0 starts, l flu with Delta often aaa Sky miles member spend lot of money on this airline, two days ago coming from Boise to Fort Laudardale my baggage came broken two wheels, l was trying to claim my damage baggage that cost money and l was told we apologize you need to claim in 6 hours frame there is signs on the airport?? Where at those signs saying that ??? Even thou l have the fresh pic of the baggage how their came to the carrusel !!! I guess it is time to switch out to an airline that take care their clients and not be treated like bullshit !!!
Delta has been in the News quite…
Delta has been in the News quite frequently lately, and I understand why now. I thought I could save a few dollars and give them a try. Big mistake and will not do it again. They had lost my luggage and was a nightmare to even get them to file a claim. This sounds insane and impossible, but the hold time to speak to an agent was 7 hours – YES you heard that correct, and I thought I was hearing things, and I finally hung up after 1 hr 45 mins, and drove to the airport, and the customer service representative confirmed the hold time. The only way there even had a clue as to where my luggage was is because of my “Air-Tag”. I told them exactly where it was sitting, so they could get it to me. Their tracking system is useless. And yes, they did find it, and got my bag to me after 6 days. And accordingly, to their baggage policy, on Delta’s official baggage reimbursement page, they state that “reasonable expenses are generally determined as $50 USD per day for the first 5 days your bag is delayed.” My expenses were denied and I received $0 dollars. Bottom line, use another airline, Delta treats their customers like crap, and was not worth the few dollars I saved. Never again, I’m done with Delta.
Delta.com inflates customer satisfaction reviews on their website
I have a credit card with Delta Skymiles I recently signed up for and am already not happy with them. They have all kinds of rules to cash in rewards and their website kicks you out constantly and the biggest scam is that they inflate the hotel reviews showing the hotel has a much higher satisfaction rate than it really does. The hotel I booked showed a 7.6 satisfaction out of 10 on delta.com, then after booking it with a non-refundable payment I immediately noticed other websites rated the exact hotel at 6.3/10 and Tripadvisor at 2.9/5 (which is 5.8/10) I immediately went to cancel the reservation that was literally just made and received a message I would be charged for the room anyway. Delta is a scam. They inflate customer reviews so they can book travel. Do not sign up with them for a credit card or anything else. I am going to be done with them shortly! I also called Delta and was told they were busier than usual and would call me back in about 10 minutes. That was 1.5 hours ago, and never got a call back.
Very disappointed with the customer…
Very disappointed with the customer service agent that helped be rebook my flight due to bad weather. After completing the new booking tickets, I was told I was all set. When I checked in at the airport, the agent at the ticket counter told me that I had to pay $900 for my new ticket. I wish I was told this on the phone when I was rebooking. I would have chose another option. I fly all the time. This was such a disruption and disappointment of starting my trip. This definitely will have me rethinking the next time who I fly with
Worst experience ever
Worst experience ever. Thought canadian airlines are bad until I tried Delta. Both my flights from vancouver to new york with layover at Seattle in and out had delays which made me almost miss my connection on my way in and actually miss my connection on my way out. Had to stay over night in Seattle. Wont fly with them ever again and you probably shouldn't as well
I am a Delta fan but....
I am a Delta fan! On time with typically great customer service.
Wifi is important me and none of the 4 flights I took this week had working wifi. This isn't acceptable in 2026!
Delayed flight, delayed heads up, no refund, bad service!
My LA–DXB flight (ref: QEBYOFSZ) was delayed by a day and I was informed just hours before departure. I cancelled and requested a refund (they offered this option) almost a month later, still nothing. No refund. They just don’t care. Never again. My first and last with this airline! Such a horrible experience!
Worst business class experience
Virtually inedible and poor quality food. Served the wrong meal; correct meal then given but chicken really dry and tough. Cold soup. No replacement given. Dirty seat. Found a used tissue down the side of my seat. Disinterested cabin crew. On another short flight crumbs left on tray between adjoining seats.
Caribbean airspace closure
A friend and I traveled to St. Croix on Delta with a return scheduled for Saturday 1/3/26. At 2:25 am on the 3rd we were notified via text that our flight was cancelled due to airspace closure. "We're sorry . . . but unfortunately, we didn't find a flight on which to automatically rebook you . . ." What?!? As it turns out, Delta couldn't "find" us return seats until the following Friday - SIX DAYS later - in spite of the fact they professed to adding 2600 extra seats to their schedule. (BTW, the airspace was only closed for 12 hours.) We called Delta every day to see if we could get an earlier flight but NO and we were offered no compensation, travel waivers or even a free drink on the plane! Those 6 extra days cost us over $1,000 each. I'm still upset and never want to fly Delta again although it used to be my AL of choice. Not any more.
