I had made a previous pet claim a couple of years with another insurer which after multiple mistakes it took them 6 months to payout. LV provided an answer within 2 weeks and how the payment will be processed really happy with the service I didn’t need to chase or find out what was happening and for the price and what I was covered for was really good. I can see me renewing my cover with them in a few months.

I’ve had a very positive experience with Liverpool Victoria (LV=) Insurance. From getting a quote through to managing my policy, the process has been straightforward and transparent. Their pricing was competitive, and the coverage options were clearly explained without any hidden surprises.

Phoned - spent 1 hour on phone on hold listening to music

Phoned to cancel a motor policy. Advised there was an outstanding claim despite policyholder being advised by phone the week before the claim had been settled. Spent 1 hour on the phone - spoke briefly and outlined my question to two very pleasant customer service advisors who said they would transfer me to other depts - spent rest of hour on hold listening to music, then ended call.

Having been a company car driver for…

Having been a company car driver for many years, I needed insurance for my new personal vehicle. Unlike other insurers I looked at, the LV website was easy to navigate and informative. They took into account my last years driving history (supported by the appropriate letters from my company) and made the whole process easy.

Reduced my premium by changing.

My previous car insurer had increased my premiums by £300 two years running to over £1,300 for an advanced driver with 16 years no claims discount. LV provided similar cover for £769!! The excess is higher, but I have already saved that amount in premium.
I won't use the very cheap insurers, but LV are an old established company with a good rating.

A high quality insurer at a fair price.

When my insurance renewal is near I always do a search using Go Compare. LV was almost top and is highly rated by Which.
Accepting and setting up my new Policy was fairly easy on-line. Although, I would recommend being very careful to ensure that all the items you need to be covered are found and included.

Cheap and competitive
We were with another provider who we’ve been with for years, and never thought of leaving, until our renewal came through and it was a ridiculous price, we came across to LV for the same 2 cars on the policy, everything exactly the same, and they were £1200 cheaper, absolutely fantastic, wish we had joined sooner and we may have saved more money over the years
