Very poor service

Very slow reaction to my enquiry and what seemed to be complete disinterest in doing business.
The Skipton placed zero value on me as a customer hence I phoned to complain. I have been promised a call back on 3 separate occasions and am still waiting. I can seriously not recommend this amateurish organisation,well worth looking elsewhere.

Appalling service

We have had a mortgage with Skipton for nearly 15 years. However for the last two years we have been unable to access the app and therefore access our mortgage details. The customer service has been really poor. Nobody seems to be able to fix the problem and link our account to our online profile. We have had numerous calls and spent hours on e mails and letters just simply trying to see what we owe. It’s appalling service even though we have now written to the CEO.

Just moved into my new flat

Just moved into my new flat and just received my welcome box of treats from Skipton! Very thoughtful and I’m thrilled with the contents. I never thought I’d be able to get a mortgage at my age and on my nurses wage, so I was so happy for it to finally happen for a shared ownership flat with Skipton, no hassles so far, really clear and transparent communication, and it was a very fair deal. Feeling really grateful xx

Excellent Customer Service

I opened a new savings account and couldn't figure out how to fund it. I then forgot all about it until I received a phone call from Skipton to remind me, the person who phoned would have assisted me but I was in a supermarket at the time! I went on line and tried to do an internal transfer but it did not work (I was at fault as I had missed a vital step). I used the web chat and was advised exactly how to do what I wanted. It was a very simple process and I'm happy with outcome.
