This review reflects my experience of the stores generally, as latest purchase wasn't from my local store. The quality of the shoes is pretty good (though looking at the labels they're still made in China, which is a shame. Whether the price being higher than other retailers means the factory workers are treated better, I don't know), but the layout of the store is a bit odd, with premium products on boxes/ pedestals at the front of the store & everything else on normal racks.
In one way it's good that the racks are organised by size, but in another it's a pain because if one style is large or small fitting, you have to hunt round the racks to find the style in a different size. Styles aren't organised in any obvious way on the racks as far as I can tell, so the same style in different colours may be half a rack away.
Staff are friendly - though if you give your email address to get a receipt you'll be bombarded with marketing, but it's easy to unsubscribe.

Had a query on a savings account so tried the online chat. The call handler wasn't a chatbot which was a good start & she was able to answer my query clearly.
Good to deal with in my experience & have decent ethical standards. Savings rates are consistently OK too.

Popped into Wellington store on the off chance of finding a suitable microwave after much fruitless searching online. Amazingly they had exactly what I needed & at a better price than the big retailers (albeit last in stock & a display item, but in perfect condition).
John was really helpful - even carrying the carefully re-packaged item to the car for me.
This level of service isn't surprising as I've bought stuff from Powerpoint in the past. There's a lot to be said for doing research online to work out the options & what you need, but the additional expert knowledge & personal attention of an independent retailer like Powerpoint beats the internet or large retailers populated by Saturday staff every time.

Efficient, friendly service from pharmacist. Reasonably priced by comparison.
Not sure if that makes it a review of pharmadoctor or the pharmacist!

Easy to switch tariff - & no early exit fee.
Generally like the fact that Octopus are doing lots of stuff to help & encourage customers to reduce reliance of the grid on fossil fuel use & save money in the process.
Help desk is friendly & knowledgeable too (though I've been waiting for months for a response from the tech bods for a non urgent query, despite the help desk chasing for me)

Easy to order, good products. Prompt & helpful answer to query raised & good info on products.
Occasional follow up hints & tips emails are fairly helpful & infrequent enough not to be annoying.
Shame no reviews show on their website under the products - I've seen other sites set up to pick up reviews from trustpilot.

Ordering process easy. Delivery to store slower than I'd expected, but not bad. Good value on items ordered. Friendly, efficient staff at store (Telford) for click & collect.
Felt weird having to provide photo id as well as invoice, but maybe the company has suffered from identity fraud

Been using Hampstead for years. Ethical, good range of teas, well priced for the excellent quality. Packaging for delivery as eco as it's possible to be. One of the few teabag makes which is truly home-compostable (most makes are only recyclable via council food waste)

efficient online ordering, though the website search engine isn't great, fortunately I knew what I was looking for.
Chose a quiet time to collect from store. Someone at door took the order number & item arrived at the counter almost as quickly as I did so was in & out in a couple of minutes. Friendly, efficient staff.

Lovely tea as always, eco friendly packaging, super speedy delivery! (good old Royal Mail)

Easy to order, prompt delivery, like the more compact box for reduced environmental impact. Not loads of packaging either.

Opening the account was fairly easy (minor hiccup quickly resolved). Chose account partly for decent interest rate but mainly for ethics/ethos. (not easy to find an ethical bank with good interest rates!). Website & portal straightforward.

Great product, great delivery (good old royal mail) , recyclable / compostable packaging (delivery & tea bags :) ), good ethics, prices compare well to other 'ethical' brands - what more could you want?!

Efficient delivery & packaging. Easy to use website (though I tend to open individual products in New Tab when I've set a filter as like many websites, 'continue shopping' seems to clear previous filters)
Tea is lovely - each teabag makes at least 2 cups, which adds to the already good value (I only have the caffeine free herbal/fruit teas so can't vouch for 'ordinary' teas).
Love that everything is fairly traded (the website has info on the source of many of the ingredients) & tea bags are compostable (they disappear in the compost bin, so they definitely do compost away!)

Good delivery service though quite expensive for some things compared to competitors, reasonable online ordering system. Consistently disappointing how long it takes WHSmith to reduce prices on calendars after the new year in comparison to all major competitors.

Seems to have been a problem with migrating users from Npower where bills aren't triggered (& possibly not requested) until you submit the first reading directly - which could cause anyone who doesn't realise this to eventually get a big bill. (hence only 4* instead of 5)
Raised this to E.ON via email along with other oddities in my new online account & couldn't have got a quicker or more comprehensive response - it was obvious the guy on the helpdesk had read my email properly & replied to everything - including taking forward the non-billing issue. Have to admit for a big company I was pleasantly surprised with the service. Actually finding EON Next very positive (so far) compared to Npower.

good efficient delivery service. Packaging is sensible for size of delivery (no outsize boxes for a couple of packets of tea!)

Easy to order, fairly easy to find what I was looking for. Arrived quickly & via Royal Mail which meant it was easy to arrange redelivery as I was out(unlike some carriers who expect you to collect from a depot 20 miles away!). Got spammed a bit with adverts after ordering but that may have been the options boxes that I did (or didn't) tick.
