I am still waiting for my refund. Booking number ST250414E5057. No ticket was issued. IN ADDITION: after 2 days, instead of refunding me, they charged my card TWICE!

Sky-tours was recently attacked by fraudsters. They booked tickets and holidays but paid less than 10% of what they should have paid by cheating our payment providers system. This is now stripped and all unpaid tickets and hotels are canceled. Some fraudsters however are not happy and give us now a bad review. Sky-tours existed 1973 years and we are online since 1999 and have grown to a worldwide operating Tour Operator and OTA. We take care of our clients offering very good rates combined with friendly multi-language 24/7 support.

I was skeptical at first and even more so after looking at the reviews online. I booked a simple flight from Phuket to Bangkok 2 days out. I received the reference number for the airline but was unable to check-in due to the reference number being incorrect. Unfortunately, when I reached out to customer service for assistance, they confirmed the ticket was valid but I didn't want to take the chance the morning of since the flight was at 6:30am. Therefore, the night before I didn't want to take the risk and booked through the airline, only to find out the next day that the ticket actually DID exist, I just wasn't able to check-in before arriving at the airport. I rate them 3/5 because technically the ticket was valid, however, the stress and uncertainty wasn't worth the stress.
I booked a one-way WestJet flight through Sky-Tours four days before my intended travel date. The 'ticket' was issued the next day, so I assumed everything was fine. On the day of my flight, when I went to the WestJet check-in counter, the agent informed me that my ticket was a 'no-go'. Apparently, only around $43 had been paid toward the ticket using a different credit card number, not mine—even though I paid $522.68 when I booked with Sky-Tours. For some reason, Qantas was also involved in the booking. I contacted Sky-Tours using their U.S. phone number (+1 914 775 5822), which resulted in a long-distance call for me. The Sky-Tours agent I spoke with either did not understand the situation or pretended not to. She was unhelpful and even told the WestJet agent to fix the issue, which was completely inappropriate. Eventually, the Sky-Tours agent said she would try to reissue a new ticket for free but could not guarantee it would be done in time. With no assurance and no time to wait, I had no choice but to buy a new ticket directly from WestJet at the airport, at a significantly higher price than what flights were costing four days earlier. I genuinely felt scammed. This has never happened to me before, and I have flown many times using third-party booking platforms like Skyscanner (where I found Sky-Tours). While Sky-Tours did refund my original payment two days later, the damage was already done—financially and emotionally. I basically did not have a valid ticket after I ‘booked’ with Sky-Tours at all. So, if you value peace of mind and want to be sure you’re holding a real, valid flight ticket, I strongly recommend not booking with Sky-Tours.

I booked a flight from Bilbao to Munich and I thought everything was fine, since I received a booking number, which I entered on my Lufthansa App and I could see my booking. But the day before my flight, I tried to do the check-in through the Lufthansa App and the booking had disappeared. I entered the booking and my name again, but the booking didn't exist... I called Lufthansa and after speaking with 2 different ladies on the phone, they ended up confirming that they booking had been canceled by the company sky-tours. Apparently, they had booked a ticket with a cancellation option, they sold me the ticket, then they canceled paying the cancellation fee and there was nothing I could do. They told me this is a relatively common practice for such companies. They earn money by buying expensive tickets (the tickets with a cancellation option are more expensive) and then cancelling before you can do the check in. That way they get their money back (the cancellation fee they pay is nothing compared to what they get back).
Price which the end-client pays for the ticket - cancellation fee = earnings for sky-tours
It is not something they do with every ticket they sell. If they did, the reviews they have on Trustpilot and other websites would be so bad nobody would be buying tickets from them, so it's a matter of luck that your ticket is a cancellation fee kind of "deal"... My recommendation after being one of the unlucky ones, buying a very expensive ticket for the next day, calling my bank, calling Lufthansa, calling Sky-tours... AVOID THE RISK and book a ticket from another website, even if it's a bit more expensive.

Found they actually book with stolen points and cards while charging you the cash value of the flight.
Despite my status with Alaska, I was unable to change my flight without paying with points (which was odd) and when it showed me the payment details, it was for sure booked as an award ticket + some random person’s card.

SCAM ALERT, ALERT,ALERT🚫
Never ever book with them . This company is just disgusting. We booked a flight from LHR to DXB with them flight was after 24 hours. We paid £580 for our flight they did not send us any ticket any email.
After 7-8 hours they just send us email that we will receive ticket 4 hours before the flight departure.
We were waiting for whole day they send us fake booking fake reference number. We spoke with British Airways / Qatar Airways they said they did not book any flight under this name.
At the end we booked a new flight direct with airline . They are not responding on the emails they are not responding on the chat box. Very Poor service. They are just scamming people and they are not providing neither tickets nor refund.
I will never ever book with them.

I am sitting at the airport without a ticket while my plane is leaving in 10 minutes, although I booked thru Sky-tours, received a confirmation e-mail and also paid for my ticket. Alaska Airlines is claiming that they do not have my booking and I should contact Sky-tours. I am trying hard, but helpline is closed and nobody answers to my e-mails. I don’t have a ticket which I purchased and no response why. Please do not book with them. You will never see your ticket and your money.

I booked a flight tickets from Los Angeles to Vilnius. All went perfect. The price was best in the market at that moment.
They charged me for a ticket and it was fraudulent. I tried to check-in on Alaska Airlines and they said that someone's mileage plan was fraudulently used to book the ticket. I had to buy a new ticket as I am traveling to see my mom in hospice. Crooks.
My experience started out really really bad, However, it was turned over very impressively. So, I booked a cheaper flight with them and upon arriving at the airport, the person at the counter said the flight wasn't paid for, upon realizing that, I went online to read about the company and the reviews made me feel worse, however, I was able to locate a customer service number that I called and were very responsive. However, i wanted swift resolution so I don't miss that flight, because the airport was in Kitchener and i live in North York (Uber was 170$ away), they said I should book another flight and they would refund me, but I had massive trust issues, and didn't know that money to throw around so I didn't book another flight, missed that flight and I was stranded at Kitchener.. However, they responded to me asking what they could do and what expenses I incurred, I should let them know. then they booked another flight for me the next day and asked if I could manage with it. Gave me an apology credit to my account, and checked me in to and fro. Helped me go through airport security with ease. so it turned out very well. the customer service was so responsive all the way and it made me not feel as frustrated as I should. So I eventually appreciated their service.
Do not purchase tickets through this company. One of the worst companies ever.

I had to cancel due to illness, and my request was approved. The refund took two weeks to arrive, but their policy was clear and support kept me informed the whole time.
I paid for extra legroom and the process was so smooth. The upgrade showed up on my boarding pass right away, which meant no extra stops at the airport desk.
It took about 2 days to get an answer about my visa, but the agent gave me some great, detailed help once they replied.
I couldn't find a lower price anywhere else. Their customer service even helped me use a promo code I'd forgotten about.
My flight got canceled by the airline, and SKy-Tours Processed my full refund in just five business days. There was no fuss or extra emails needed.
We booked tickets for our family of five, including seat selection There were no problems at all, and the e-tickets were all put together neatly in one PDF, which was perfect for stress free planning.
I needed to change my flight super urgently, and Sky-Tours got it sorted within an hour - even in the middle of the night! There was a small fee, but getting it done so quickly was worth it. They were lifesavers!
I had a little hiccup with the webpage crashing during payment, but after a quick restart, it went through just fine. My e-ticket came fast, and all the light details were spot on.

Straight to the point, yes I got the ticket. And yes, I didn't get the confirmation or booking number at all after I booked my flight.
I panic emailed them after reading this website's reviews and they gave me a reply saying the ticket might come to me via email if it goes through.
Thankfully, I got the ticket in couple hours.
What I think this website does is, get the lowest price, make the user pay first, bargain with the airlines, then get the deal or something. Assuming that, I checked the flight on airline's website to see how full it was. Since it was 60% empty, I just tried to calm myself down from panicking, because I thought for that flight wasn't going to get filled fast.
I don't know how good they are with returning the money, but I think it's a okay bet to do if the flight is empty, and you have plenty of time until the flight.
Here's the risk calculation as a computer science student from Seattle.
- According to this webpage at least, success to fail ratio for booking a flight is 7:3.
- When skytour is the cheapest, it's 30% cheaper than the official airline's price on average(0.7x).
- Time window for flight confirmation is 24hrs.
- Within one week before the flight, the price of airline tickets jumps up by 10% everyday on average(when it's popular).
So, if you are very close to the flight date, use this formula:
There's 70% chance that you will save 30%(whatever percentage discount it is for you) of the flight price if you use sky tours. However, there's also 30% chance that you won't get a flight after 24hrs leaving you to pay 110% of the price. Now calculate using 'Expected Value'. 0.7(success prob) * 0.7x(discounted price) + 0.3(fail prob) * 1.1x(inflated price) = 0.49x + 0.33x = 0.82x.
Therefor, users are expected to pay 82% of the flight price on average per booking.
Of course, you there's more variable as the popularity of the ticket, which will make the probability of you getting the ticker way harder.
In conclusion, when your flight is coming very soon and it's a popular location/date(weekends, holidays), don't do it.
I will give three stars even though I got the ticket because I never went through this amount of stress for booking a ticket.
Good Luck!
