Be careful when ordering from this…

Be careful when ordering from this webshop!!

My entire order went missing and after more than three weeks, three phone calls and two emails, I still have not received a refund. Communication is slow and unclear, with repeated promises that the issue is being investigated, but nothing actually happens. Because I needed the items for my holiday, I was forced to reorder elsewhere at a higher cost. This caused unnecessary stress, wasted time and extra expenses.

I would not recommend this webshop

Advice: don’t buy here, discounts turn out to be costly problems

I would strongly advise against ordering from Snowleader. What may look like an attractive discount can quickly turn into an expensive and frustrating experience.

In mid-December I ordered ski boots from Snowleader. The parcel never arrived. From the start, Snowleader consistently treated this as my problem and showed little to no willingness to take responsibility for the delivery.

After repeatedly contacting customer service, I received mostly evasive responses, such as suggestions to “check again with your neighbours”, despite already having done so multiple times. Progress was only made after I was asked to submit a copy of my passport and to sign formal documents declaring that I had indeed not received the parcel.

Even after complying with these requests and waiting yet another week for a response, I was informed that Snowleader would now — almost two months after my order and after numerous emails — start an investigation with the carrier. I was also told this investigation could take up to 30 days. In other words, while I was repeatedly required to take action and provide documentation, Snowleader had apparently not even contacted the carrier until very late in the process.
As of now, nearly two months later, I have had to purchase replacement ski boots elsewhere, I have not received a refund of more than €500, and I have little confidence that this matter will be resolved without further formal or legal steps.

My sincere advice, do not be tempted by Snowleader’s relatively low prices. If something goes wrong with your delivery, you may find that Snowleader makes it very clear that the consequences are entirely your problem.

Undelivered goods and little feedback

I ordered Peak performance skipants on January 11th including DHL. express delivery. Despite DHL express delivery, not only did nothing turn up yet , but it took nearly 2 separate customer service calls to get a sort of explanation from the company about what is going on. No confirmation yet per mail about status of the delivery time or what is going on. Requested also to cancel my order and refund the money because my ski holiday is almost over. Chat function does not work on their website.

Snowleader should communicate better and faster about delivery updates. Response time of customer service should be shorter

I ordered 5 pairs of shows

I ordered 5 pairs of shows . Now stuck in mondial relay for 6 days - on its way to being delivered. No feedback form mondial why the packe is not being delivered, no feedback from snowleaders.

Extremely poor customer service and unacceptable handling of returns

I attempted to return a product within the legal return period, yet the process turned into a frustrating and time-consuming ordeal. Instructions were unclear, contradictory, and at times simply unworkable. Despite following their guidance, returning the product proved practically impossible.

Contacting customer service only made matters worse. Phone calls were repeatedly disconnected after waiting more than 15 minutes, and email responses were slow, generic, and failed to address the actual problem. There was no sense of ownership or responsibility for resolving the issue.

After showing considerable patience, it became clear that this is not an isolated incident but rather a case of serious operational mismanagement. I have since escalated the matter to my legal assistance insurance.

I would strongly advise others to think twice before ordering here, especially if there is any chance you might need to return an item. Once something goes wrong, you are largely on your own.

They charge you a lot for return…

They charge you a lot for return service.
Website doesn’t work great, lots of problems with login.
No email notifications about shipment, returns etc.
They take there time with return payment.
I would not recommend this shop at all!

After you have sent us an email on October 18th, our customer service replied to your email within 48hours on October 20th with your new password and the returning procedure.

We refund you 14 days after receiving the parcel as mentioned in our GTC. It is also mentioned that we apply return fees to the customer that wish to return any item.

Beautiful site which is a disaster

Beautiful site, but the links or the next page doesn't work or stay grey. When trying to order it's one big mess.
Asked for help which I received, but instructions were very unclear, I was sent to a page which didn't exist etc. Sit really sucks. Took me days to get the order OK, and guess what... meanwhile the skis were sold to an other... just because I lost time in their messy site

Never received my order

Never received my order. However, this is DPD's fault because their service is shockingly bad. Customer service on Snowleader's part was fine. When a company works with one of the worst delivery services out there, I would expect them to have some protocols in place to get the parcel to the customer some other way... Frustrating experience.

Everything was OK

Everything was OK. The jacket Patagonia is perfect.
The only thing I'm not very happy is the time for the delivery ( too many days ). So if you are not in a hurry you will find a good purchase with Snowleader.
