I ordered 2 watches from Sternglas. They were both ok but nothing right for me. The watches are all manufactured in China and may have a Japanese movement.
I have returned both watches individually but sent them in one box to facilitate the shipment. I had some trouble with them approving that both watches have reached.
For days now I tried calling them, but no one ever answers, whether Monday early morning, Wednesday morning or Thursday afternoon several times.

Spending over £600 on a watch, I would expect the bare minimum that it would keep time but was over 5 mins fast over a couple of days. I raised it with customer support (who on average take a week to come back to every email). There has been much back and forth and initially they wanted us to pay to take it to a jeweller to and we have finally got to a place whereby they have agreed we can return it (for a replacement although I would like a refund as it seems to be a recurring issue for their products). They sent me a link to start the process for a return and it won't let me return the item. I am now awaiting another week for a response for someone to assist. This was a present for my husband bought in November.

I would not recommend using Sternglas at all. And if you do chance it, definitely use a credit card so you can request a chargeback should all of this happen to you!

Currently travelling around the Yucatan, Mexico for four weeks and my Sternglas Naos GMT is enjoying the trip with excellent timekeeping both locally and back home in the UK.

I bought the Naos with a two-year "warranty." It fell on the bathroom floor and stopped working. I took it to my trusted watch repair shop and they said it needed a new movement. I contacted customer support, which said it would respond in a week because they were so busy. I made the mistake of saying it fell (how would they ever know?). Eventually they said the warranty didn't apply and they would sell me a new watch for 30% off, or I could send it to Germany and pay for repair. When I pushed back, I got a 500 word lecture explaining why they were right, telling me to read the fine print of their so-called "warranty," and vaguely threatening me if I called it fraudulent. I guess they are sure of their legal position because it's been tested before! But why would I want to buy another watch from them when this one was so fragile and their support so poor? I fell for the slick marketing and the fake "warranty," it's a poorly made watch made to look good in photos but with no real company behind it.

PS their response is to say they're going to work on communicating better that if you drop their $325 watch once, it will stop working and tough luck to you - good to know! also, no one from the company contacted me directly, that AI message is directed at any other suckers with a complaint I guess

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Sternglas. I had a very difficult time receiving my watch due to the new U.S. tariffs. This was incredibly frustrating because this was the only watch I truly wanted. My budget ranged from $50 to $7,000, so price wasn’t the deciding factor. this watch simply had everything I was looking for, AND at an amazing value.

Because of the new tariffs, DHL ended up sending my watch back. I had completed every required form and provided all the paperwork, yet despite reaching out to DHL at least ten times theough phone and multiple emails, I never received a single response. I was extremely disappointed.

Sternglas, however, was unbelievably understanding. In the meantime, they had actually opened a warehouse in the United States, which allowed them to send me the watch face I wanted, though it was only offered with a band I dint want. When I contacted them, they let me know that the band I preferred would be available in the U.S. within a week or two, and they generously gave me a discount code so I could order it at a reduced price!!

Every time I reached out to Sternglas, I received a response within three hours, and it was always from a real person!! Their customer service is truly exceptional!! If I owned a company, this is exactly how I would want it to be run!! I’m genuinely amazed!! Every business could learn something from them.

I love the design of Sternglas watches. I own two: a Berlin and a Naos. The Bauhaus design with the thin bezel and minimal face is so pleasing. Every time I look at the time, it gives me a little kick of pleasure.

Absolutely gorgeous watch, shipped really quickly, and everyone I spoke to was really helpful. Will definitely be looking out for more in the future

The timepiece I purchased is so beautifully designed that it transcends mere function - it is an art object. Be careful with this company. They claim to offer a hassle free return process, but they are deceptive! I ordered a watch, and when it arrived I realized it wouldn’t work because the date window was too small. I never wore the watch and returned it in mint condition, in its original packaging. They sent me an email with photos of a different watch with scratches and dirt all over the back, claiming it was the one I had returned, and refused to give me a full refund. This company is not to be trusted!

I bought a good Quartz Naos watch from Sternglas, I am very happy with the build quality of the watch.
I also ordered a leather watchband, but I am not happy with the quality of the watchband, first of all it fits so tightghtly that the watch is damaging the side of the leather when hinging, I expected a great quality on that regard.

The watch is beautiful and I like it very much.
Thank you for the opportunity to purchase a luxury watch at a reasonable price.

Ordered the Naos quartz- black dial with milanaise metal band. Very nice watch. Simple design. Black on silver is always a winner in my book. I spent months looking at probably 1000+ watches of all kinds before settling on this one. In this price range, more can be had (seconds hand, chrono, skeleton, etc), which I didn't discover until after ordering this one. $150 feels like a better price range for this simplistic piece. 38mm and thin case height were the combo I was after so I'm OK with the purchase. One issue for me is I popped the clasp open to adjust to my wrist size but the clasp isn't relocking. The Sternglas (and Youtube) instructional vids don't quite help as my clasp is slightly different than the one(s) in the vids. 1 week after purchase and I still haven't worn it yet due to this issue.

This is going to sound like a bot review, but I was geniunly impressed enough with Sternglas and its customer service to go write this review (I am a real person I promise!). I bought a Naos XS rosegold with sapphire glass about 1.5 years ago and have loved the heck out of that watch. I wore it every day, so imagine my sadness when suddenly from one day to the next it just stopped (6 am on the 6th ironically). This is however a positive review as the customer service was incredible. The watch was still within its warranty period so I contacted Sternglas and they instructed me to return the defective watch and within a week they had sent me a replacement. The person who helped me at Sternglas, Sarah, was incredibly helpful, quick in her responses and genuinely kind, so shout-out to her in particular. Will continue to love the heck out of this watch.

The website ilwas super easy to navigate. Delivery of watch was super fast. The watch itself is amazing, really good looking fitting amazing on the hand. Probably will be thnking on getting one more :)

The watch is classy, minimalist looking Bauhaus style, but it is inaccurate. 2-3 minutes a week fast is unacceptable. I have had Seiko automatics before and they were never this inaccurate. Costumer service has been disingenuous, it seems as they know the issue, they're playing dumb. They'll go out of business if they keep doing this.

The watch Naos Automatic Black looks good, but that's where all its merits end.
It is so inaccurate that I have to check it every week or two. It reminds me of the old days when we only had Soviet watches with such accuracy.
Better run away from this company because you will get the most inaccurate watch in the world with the explanation that this is so by design.

I received the watch very quickly, the day after I ordered. Nothing to complain about here.

Whole user experience is very good, starting from the website, options to choose from, „familiarity“ and communication from the Sternglas team, delivery, packaging and the design and quality of the product itself.
