If I could give zero stars I would, I purchased a A30m as the advertisement mentioned how it would perform, It did not do as advertised and decided to return it, after many stupid question's which were unanswerable they finally agreed to a refund on return of the product, each time they asked a question I had to wait several days for them to answer me back, the product arrived opened and luckily I took photo's of how it arrived and I offered to show them but they was not interested, I then took photo's of the return and the return label proving it had been returned, again they kept me waiting for a very long time before ackowledging the return, I resorted to a threat of reporting them to various governing bodies on there behaviour and they then ackowledged the return, they dragged out the refund until the very last day of the promised refund date. I honestly believe this company puts every obstacle in your way and tries to delay you until you are out of the 30 day refund date, I started my return within this date, so my purchase on the 5th Sept that was returned within 14 days has taken until the 29th Oct. The product was useless and tried on several vehicles, I have used a £20 OBD reader that did more than the A30m. When they did finally refund me they charged me for postage to return there own product that had there own return label on. Buyer's beware with this company.
Started bad 12 day before shipping bla bla på chat litt bløffing på dem å i henhold til sendingen .skylder vell på dårlig kommunikasjon å engelsk kunnskap..men de ordnet opp til slutt å var generose m en fln bonus.så kommunikasjon kan være litt trøblete men de fixer biffen til slutt .bra men litt slitsomt.
XTOOL WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. ALL THEY DO IS LIE AND MAKE EMPTY PROMISES. DO NOT BUY THEIR JUNK. IT WILL NEVER WORK AND THEY WILL NEVER FIX PROBLEMS, THEY ONLY WASTE YOUR TIME
It will never send reports to my email. It locks up on "share" after I select an address to send those. Then I must quick click to turn off screen, then long hold (like 30 seconds) to get a hard reset of the thing. In a short while it locks up again. Seems like overheating (it is hot) but when it freezes, it's frozen. I left it for 25 minutes and it is still there, frozen. It actually did send me a couple reports when I first started playing with it. It did a bunch of self-updates today and now I cannot get the reports at all. No on flash disk, not email, nothing except on that little screen but I need those PDFs. not sure what is wrong but it's been freezing from the start. Now it freezes every time. I am afraid to plug this thing into my car.
I bought an A30M from them and have been trying to contact support via various emails or the customer login since receiving it, but to no avail. After four days, I'd had enough and asked for a return label. After another three days, I was asked to send a video and pay $15 for the return shipment. However, I didn't receive an answer to my previously asked questions.
I live in the UK, I ordered the D8W from them and it turned ups very quickly.
The D8W is very well built, I"m a home user who wanted a decent code reader that will last me many years.
I usually buy cars that are around 10 years old, keep them for about 3 years and repeat.
So with the included software and a further 3 years of updates (I checked and it still functions fine after 3 years, just wont have new cars etc)
I was disappointed when I first received my D8W because when using with my 2012 Nissan Qashqai, it wouldn't do a couple of things I wanted, and the country was wrong when my car VIN code was put in.
I also couldn't find the Key Program function that I had seen on the various Youtube vids
I contacted them about this, stating that under the UK 14 day cooling off service, if it couldn't; program new keys and couldn't do those other things I would be returning it.
As they are obviously a China company I was expecting no reply.
They responded within 24 hrs stating that of course I can return it under the 14 days, but they would like to see if they could help solve my issues first, and asked me to send pics/vid of what I'm doing etc.
I did this.
Two days later I got a reply stating the info had been passed to their engineers and asked me to be patient while they looked into it.
The following day I got a response.
They had changed the key programming icon to "IMMO Resert". (odd name to me, but I'm not an expert, I've checked and the Key Programming is there)
They also created a software patch for me to download to fix both the country problem and my other issues.
The download worked fine, all problems solved.
I was pleasantly surprised and happy
This was within a week of me purchasing it.
There are a few other official looking tool sites around, but Xtool say that XtoolGlobal is the official one. I wonder if the 1 star reviewer bought his elsewhere because what they experienced was nothing like mine.
I’ve been using the D9S device for about a year now. Here’s what I’ve found during this time: more than a half of the reprogramming functions don’t work, and with VAG group vehicles, 2 out of 3 information buses (high-speed and low-speed) often aren’t read. Technical support always asks for a log file; there’s no automatic support connection while using the scanner.
On the plus side, it works at a decent distance from the car and supports SGW. That’s it.
It’s definitely not worth the price they’re asking.
This company , based in china Hong Kong,is a sham. False advertising. Basically a one man show company that will steal your money. Sends you defect product and force you to accept, NO RETURN, NO REFUND. BUYERS BEWARE. THIS IS A SCAM
