After being involved in a no fault accident Auxilis took obver the claim and dealt with the hire vehicle. They could not have been more efficient. Such a refreshing change to see a big company being brilliant! 10/10. :)

Just a quick word of caution: I recently bought a whiskey for £130 as final winning bid. By the time I'd paid VAT, comissions, delivery and insurance the bill was £195! It's a lot more than the winning price. A learning experience....
On a positive note, the whiskey arrived very quickly and their customer service dept was very quick at responding to my emails.
It's just that the add on fees/costs left a bit of a sour taste (pardon the pun) in the mouth.

I see you have bid on a VAT applicable lot which means it has either been imported to the UK and or it is sold by a UK business. As a result 20% VAT is added to the hammer price.
The UK VAT rate is of course set by the the UK government and not TGWA. We symbolise these lots by the % symbol and if you had bid on a standard lot it would have been 20% cheaper on the hammer price. Thus £26 of this additional cost as you intimated doesn’t go to TGWA but rather the UK government.
It is unfortunate TGWA is being penalised by way of a 3* review for your learning experience and when we break down the cost to the penny prior to bidding.
We do thank you for the positive end to the review by crediting our team with the quick responses but feel the comments regarding the fees (VAT) should be directed more to the UK Government as we pass the costs directly to HMRC.
