Still has flaws

Still has flaws. Doesn't cope well with smiles and front turning to side views sometimes alter the face shape. I find black and white works better than color and, oddly, old photos better than modern. I've enjoyed the experience though, even if, at times, it feels a bit spooky.

If I could give no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would. The clothing was cheap and badly made, the fabric so thin it was transparent. The sizing was wrong - I would guess at least two sizes too small. There was no dispatch note or any paperwork at all in the package so no return address.

Their marketing stratagem beggars belief. Don't even try if you're an author with a pseudonym.

I write books under a pseudonym so obviously can't prove my identity by way of passport, drivers' license etc. - the names won't match. Despite the fact I've used Facebook for years for other purposes I can't advertise my books. Unfortunately, by the time I'd discovered this they'd decided I was trying to defraud FB and banned me from even explaining. There is just a big red fullstop against my application.

WARNING: Some stores use home shopping as an excuse to off-load inferior perishables

Please take care when ordering online. Some branches use this as an excuse to off-load perishables past or within just a couple of days of their sell-by date. Getting restitution is like drawing teeth. This is not one item - this week it's 14.
I am told by Waitrose management that their policy is that fruit and vegetable sell-by date is three days including the day of delivery. That means something bought on a Wednesday is out of date and non-refundable by Friday.

Great delivery - sadly declining quality.

The one thing Next have really got down to a fine art is next day delivery. None of their competitors come even close.
However, there has been a sad decline in quality over the past few years and some of the designs have become quite odd.
They also don't seem to have cottoned on to the fact that something that looks superb on a sizs 10 doesn't necessarily have the same appeal in a size 20. If they want to sell larger sizes they need to design larger sizes (perhaps they could then be scaled down?).
Please use proper models and not 6 foot tall size 8s on your website. Just how many of your customers do you suppose look like that?
I realise that my complaints could be levelled at the clothes industry in general and Next are no worse than many so the three star rating is for the prompt delivery. Not impressed by much else.

A sad downward trend for a once exceptional store

People keep mentioning staff....what staff?! If I have a query it is not unusual to spend 15 minutes walking round the store looking for someone -anyone - to help.
It used to be M&S's proud boast that all their goods were quality items made in the UK. No more! Mostly, they seem to be made in China which is disgraceful. Still better profits for the boys at the top!
The size information on the paper labels is so minute I need to get my specs out to read it.
Generally, the colours are drab and the styles don't quite hit the mark.
Sad state of affairs all round. I have shopped at M&S for 50 years and I don't recall a time when they have been worse.

ABSOLUTELY INEPT ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT

They are part of a conglomerate. If you use them make sure you use a different password for each business. I didn't. They may be separate companies but they operate from the same accounts department. I made repeated payments but kept on getting nasty letters threatening court action until I figured out that the payments were being directed to another company where, needless to say, I was substantially in credit. You can't even begin to imagine the trouble I had getting them to transfer the money across! I was left speechless with rage on the end of a phone on several occasions. This company is totally inept. Use at your peril....

Lovely frame but....

Only 3 stars as two of the black catches which hold the frame in place snapped off the first time they were bent back to take the back-board.
