Left absolutely devastated and extremely disappointed

Unfortunately what should have been a magical appointment with my family was ruined by a number of things.
Firstly because I’m over 24 weeks I could bring up to 4 guests so I bought my Mum and Sister who I’m extremely close with along with my partner (of course)!
My Mum is unwell so to have her here for this scan was very special, well should have been.
We were greeted by the receptionist (later found out was the manager) and it was a really jolly bubbly upbeat welcome. I had asked if we could take a photo or record a brief clip of the baby in the room to which she said “No I’m afraid not but the photos and a video short movie video clip will all go onto the Avocado app, any photos of the images we could print there for £3.50 each”.
Absolutely fine, if they’re on the app I have no need to use my phone nor do any of my guests.
We walked into the room where the sonographer was very offhand and hurried me onto the bed to get ready. Baring in mind at the time it was 1 degrees, I did have a vest under my jumper dress to pull up before my tummy was fully exposed. She put on the gel and instantly had no chat with us, had the attitude of she really didn’t want to be there.
She scanned my tummy like it was going to disappear, so quick didn’t stop once to let us see anything, literally said, there’s a hand, there’s a leg, really stand off ish attitude when she said she couldn’t see the baby and the face because it’s holding its feet up by its head, like it was my fault.
Whilst the position of the baby is not her fault, she could have held it there for us to see! That is the whole point we are there, and that was it done.
4 minutes 9 seconds from start to finish.
During those 4 minutes the assistant called out my sister “do not film”!
This not only was incredibly distracting, distressing, disappointing and uncomfortable it was also not true. My sister help my mums hand during the scan.
We were all really upset by this as my sister was doing nothing of the sort.
Finished feeling very underwhelmed and extremely disappointed, but Came out looking forward to seeing the photos…only to find 9 photos which were blurry, poor quality and one of arm and leg which had written in yellow over the image “arm”.
I confirmed again with the receptionist the images would go onto the avocado app, to which she sent me a code to download.
I expressed my disappointment to my family but there was another couple waiting and they said don’t show disappointment and potentially ruin their experience.
We left awaited for the video and images.
Images came which again I showed them and they agreed they were awful. I appreciate the baby was in a tricky position but we could have had such a lovely photo of it if the sonographer just held still for 5 seconds.
No movie!
My mum agreed the following day I should complain, so I wrote an email to complain to only be told, I never told you you’d get a movie clip (despite 3 of my guests and myself being told so) and that she apologised for the experience and had informed the sonographer and assistant.

I’ll never get that moment back with my family, the false accusation that totally ruined the moment and for us to barely glimpse our baby was a huge disappointment especially after spending £60.

I’m absolutely devastated and extremely disappointed at the entire experience and their response to my email after.

Amazing experience from start to finish

My partner and I visited the Mamas and Papas store in Maidstone, situated inside Next. We had booked an appointment to look at a specific pram and potentially furniture too.
When we arrived Alice greeted us, such a lovely bubbly lady and this was maintained throughout the entire appointment, so much so we ended up buying everything!
We had already looked at the Strada pram but had found /seen online the FlipXt3 and wanted to compare the two. Alice knew exactly how everything the worked, how to demonstrate it and made us feel really comfortable trying it ourselves, she knew the comparisons of the two and it definitely helped us decide on our final decision.
We had such a wonderful time with her, she wasn’t pushy nor was she asking if we were going to buy, which edged us even more to just buy everything in one hit! So….we ended up buying the FlipXt3 pram in a bundle package which was also on offer as it was under a Black Friday deal, we went on to order the cot, wardrobe, changing dresser along with changing mat and snuz cloud!
The furniture we chose was Franklin in grey wash, it’s absolutely stunning!
Alice was amazing from start to finish, it was an evening appointment and we were in there for about 2 hours! Alice made us feel so welcome, she definitely knew all the products really well and could give us advice that suited us.
We were lucky the store was quiet so we did get to look around very leisurely but from start to finish we loved our experience with mamas and papas. We can’t wait to go back and hopefully see Alice again but next time with our Bubba!

The scent is divine

The scent is divine, I have salty rocks and it smells literally like you’re walking along the beach. It’s the perfect scent for the bathroom I feel.
Packaged beautifully too.
The lady was lovely to communicate with and super quick delivery.

Outstanding Customer Service

Fantastic customer service, I cannot thank and praise the customer service team enough.
I purchased an item which incurred some issues regarding delivery, I rung customer service and it was dealt with immediately in a really friendly manor. Unfortunately there was an issue at the warehouse meaning my order was compromised again, I’m understanding that times are very different now and mistakes do happen.
I did contact Elemis customer service again and was handled by Jasmine who has been so helpful and really quick to resolve the issue.
Politeness goes a long when, even when it’s disappointing your order was delayed or missing, and the service I received back has been outstanding.

Elemis has the best customer service I have ever dealt with. High praise to all staff.
Thank you for resolving my issue.

The door bell wasn’t rung or knocked. Goods got damaged

The door bell wasn’t rung, the knocker wasn’t knocked. Literally the parcel was left outside in the damp with no acknowledgment what so ever.
I received a photo email an hour later showing delivered.
Very disappointed as it meant the goods inside got damaged.

My partner and I were served by Craig …

My partner and I were served by Craig from the Gillingham business park branch, he was by far the most helpful, most knowledgable and really genuinely nice sales assistant we have met.
We had been shopping and searching for a bed and mattress for nearly 3 months sand had struggled in each store, we came into Bensons and instantly found the right bed and mattress for us. Only trouble was, there were so many we fell in love with.
Craig made our experience so pleasant and relaxed and felt at ease to try out the mattress and encouraged us to lay on them and enjoy it.
Thanks to him we now have an amazing bed, along with a lovely experience whilst shopping for it.
