Support is Sketchy and Frustrating

The service is great and affordable...as long as it is working without any need for Mint support. If technical support or customer support is ever needed, however, good luck! The rote responses from Mint here in this review thread are quite indicative and representative of the support the company provides. This, of course, is just one man's experience. Mileage may vary.

Pure Artistry!!

I'm not easily impressed, and I cannot even remember the last time I was as impressed as I am now! Tim is a great guy to work with, and his diligence and artistry are unsurpassed. I thought my toaster was in fairly good condition when I sent it in, but man-oh-man, after Tim performed his magic, it has never looked better. Works like a charm too!

My pizza arrived a complete mess!

My pizza arrived a complete inedible mess: not only was it overbaked and cold, it was also all topsy turvy in the box, as if it had been dropped and shaken hard, and all of the toppings had fallen off. Also, the Caesar salad had no Caesar dressing.

I contacted the corporate office via the app. They responded a few days later advising that my matter had been turned over to the local franchise, and that I should hear from the franchisee within a few days.

Several days passed without contact. I left a message with the local store but never heard back. I re-messaged the corporate without response.

It's been a couple of weeks now with no resolution, so I'm assuming nothing is going to be done. Disappointing. No more Dominoes for me

Old medications with short expiration dates

Beware of old medications with short expiration dates!!

If searching for a prescription for an immediate acute condition, California Pet Pharmacy may be an option, but if searching for maintenance medication for a chronic, long-term condition, you might need to look elsewhere.

The prescription I received was set to expire in just over a month. I have used this maintenance medication for over 25 years and it has always come with an expiration date of a year or better.

The company offered either a 50% discount or a replacement with a longer (but still relatively inadequate) expiration date. I chose the replacement as I will be able to get, at least, some use out of it before it expires, but I will be looking for a new Rx provider for the future.

All"s Good Until There's an Issue...

I really wanted to give this company a good review because I like the batteries and the potential. It's all great until there's an issue. I have 4 relatively new AA batteries that just quit working. According to the charging lights, the batteries are fully-charged, but they won't power up anything. I emailed the company, and we went around and around for a bit, and then, they stopped responding. A warranty is only as good as the company backing it, and I now fear that I've spent hundreds of dollars on toxic junk. 2 stars for potential (maybe should be only 1?).

It Started Off Good...And Then It Wasn't

My first encounters with Jabra Enhance were excellent, but I've not received responses to my subsequent inquiries (email and voicemail), and it's been a week now. The lack of response has resulted in my missing out on a significantly lower sale price on the device I was considering. If this is the service provided pre-purchase, I'm concerned about the level of assistance I would receive post-purchase.

Returns, Exchanges, Customer Service...OH MY!

While the item I received appeared to be of high quality, it was not, unfortunately, the item I meant to order (my fault). Trying to initiate a return or exchange was an ill-fated fiasco. Response times were quite slow, and the entire email process eventually came full circle, restarting from where we began. To preserve my sanity, I decided to forego the exchange and eat the cost of my mistake. I will, however, NEVER purchase another item from Terrain. My first two times will definitely be my last.

Inconsistent Sizing & Costly Returns

Sizes are inconsistent; return policy and refund calculation are convoluted.

My first order was for one shirt, size small: it fit perfectly, so I ordered one more of the same shirt. My subsequent order was for two shirts, both size small: one was at least one size too large and the other was 2-3 sizes too large. Returning the improperly-sized shirts cost me the initial exorbitant shipping cost of $17.95 plus a return shipping fee of $7.95, so in effect, I paid over $25 just to try on 2 shirts from a company that is based about a mile from my home.

On the plus side: items appear to be of high quality, and customer service is responsive (when I expressed concern about how my refund was calculated, I was reimbursed the $7.95 return shipping fee); hence, the 3 stars.

Because I don't want to deal with any more problematic potential returns to Carbon2Cobalt, however, I will not be a repeat customer.

Always Great Deals and Good Service!

While I am not a wine drinker myself, I am a long-time repeat customer of Splash, using their service for gift-giving. The deals are great, and according to my friends on the receiving end, the wines are excellent. There hasn't been a bad bottle yet. Ordering is simple. Shipping is typically quite quick. I highly recommend Splash.

ZERO Stars for Service

I would give no stars if possible. I purchased a new phone from Google with a trade-in kit to receive a $150 rebate for my old phone. Upon finalizing the transaction, the trade-in kit vanished from my summary. I contacted Google, via online chat, and was told there is nothing that could be done. I was asked for a screenshot of my cart showing the trade-in kit included. I advised Google that this was an absurd ask as why would anyone take screenshots of carts for every online purchase. I trusted Google to act honestly. I had no reason to take a screenshot. I mean, $150 is really nothing to that company. The customer service rep advised me that I was using offensive language (because I used words like absurd, ridiculous, and unacceptable) and because of that, she needed to terminate the chat.

Short Expiry Dates and Customer No-Service…

The Crest White Strips product works fine when the company sends product that can be used before the expiration date. My last order had such a short expiry date that it is impossible for me to use it before it expires. Sadly, Crest/P&G's customer service is very subpar and its representatives don't care about my silly issue. As far as Crest/P&G is concerned, I received the product I purchased, so there isn't an issue. Crest/P&G already has my money, so case closed.

Great Potential, but...

While this home scent diffuser company offers a potentially great product, its customer service infrastructure leaves much to be desired and may be its downfall.

Within our short month-long relationship, I had 3 different issues crop up, one after the other, and the majority of my emails to Aera Support went unanswered. When finally receiving a response from the company, non-receipt of the previous emails was the excuse provided. Possible? Yes. Probable? No.

Whether it's Aera's support team dropping the ball or Aera's support infrastructure to blame, this non-response to customer concerns and issues creates a negative, frustrating experience. In the end, to avoid any further frustration, I returned all of my purchases for a refund.

One final note of interest: Aera's claim of a microparticle diffusing technology that creates a home scent experience free of white dust and residue was a major selling point for me. One of the concerns/issues I had with my Aera diffuser was a white residue developing and growing over the top of my Area diffuser. Things that make you go, "Hmmm?!"!

Could Easily Have Been 5-Star

Two things reduced my rating from 5-star to 3: (1) Shipping practices. Since a fresh cake is included, I expected express 1-2 day delivery; instead, my package was enroute for 4-5 days. In my opinion, this is way too long. (2) In all of the photos shown on the website and in various advertisements, included candies are attached to the inside of the decorative box, becoming part of the surprise. In my package, the included candies were carelessly tossed separately into the shipping box, apart from the decorative cake box, almost like an afterthought, partly ruining the surprise. If you want to have a premium offering (and almost $100 for a 5-inch cake IS definitely a premium price), you need to provide premium, "white glove" service.

After reading many horrible reviews, I was very skeptical. My experience, however, has been positive. The barefoot roses were received in good health. They responded quickly after planting and are growing nicely. One star taken away due to improvements needed to customer service and shipping practices.

I LOVE My Woodies

WOW! I'm surprised by all of the bad reviews. My experiences with Woodies have been excellent. In order to get my first pair of jeans absolutely perfect, they were redone twice at no expense or inconvenience to me whatsoever. They are now one of my favorite pairs. I subsequently ordered chinos, and I love them. The fits are perfect. Customer service was great with me. Admittedly, my purchases were a while back; I certainly hope the company is not going downhill.

The Best in This Field. Top-notch!

Being a local company, I would love to leave a 5-star review, but the customer service is slightly lacking. Response time could be better. Hence, only 4/5 stars.

That said...

Microperfumes is a great little company. I tried a couple other subscription perfume services before discovering this company, and Microperfumes is, by far, the best all-around: great/fair prices with speedy order fulfillment and shipping. This has been a great way for me to find my "signature scents."

Abysmal Support & Unethical Practices

Netgear products are mediocre, at best, and its technical support is absolutely abysmal! My most recent support ticket was initiated via live chat. After over 2 hours (including wait/hold times), my case was "escalated" to a higher level of support, and I was promised that a technician would call me within 24-48 hours. Instead, less than 30 minutes later, I received an email from Netgear advising me that, despite my having a few weeks of free support left on my contract, I would have to purchase "Premium" support for $139.00 if I wanted my issue pursued. It seems that "escalating" a case is Netgear's cowardly way of ending a live "face-to-face" chat so that it can deliver bad news and shady/dubious messages via email whereby customers cannot respond or dispute the unethical nature of said messages.

EDIT: And good luck obtaining a refund for its dodgy Netgear Armor Security. The "30-day-money-back guarantee" is a ploy. Refunds are not easy and hassle-free. I'm still fighting for my refund and had to dispute the charge via Paypal and my CC company.

The NEAR-PERFECT Men's Boxer Briefs

Again, the negative reviews surprise me. While items are pricey, I find the quality to be excellent, and my experience with Spanx Customer Service was great. The Spanx boxer briefs are almost the best boxer briefs I've ever worn. If the waistband ever gets redesigned to prevent it from rolling (and I'm not a large-framed guy), I will purchase several additional pairs.
