I signed up for mint mobile. Paid for an entire year. Their service sucks. I've only used four months and they will not give me the rest of my money that I have not used for the rest of the year. I can cancel my service with them but now I have to forego $175 that they will not return to me for services I have not used! Their service cuts out ninety percent of the time and that's just for making phone calls! The internet is sometimes worse unless i'm at home on wifi. I highly suggest no one get their services or phones as they all suck tremendously! Take note mint mobile I will be posting negative reviews across the entirety of social media to try to save anyone from getting your shit services or phones!
Edit: I called customer service and simply asked for my account number and was feed a bunch of bullshit and after having to tell them I don't care and I only want my account number I was hung up on not once but 3 times! The last time it was by a Supervisor!
Yah mint mobile you can shove your shifty service right back up your ass!
Now on to other social media platforms to inform the world about how they will get screwed out of money if they join mint mobile and pay for a year in advance just to realize mint mobile has Super Shitty Service and they want to move on to a better service provider yet mint mobile refuses to prorate what you have payed for In Full thus, in my case, screwing one out of over $175!

I got the $15 mo plan for the first 3 months, I did not know the next 3 months was going to be $120. Im retired and on a fixed income. I can not afford that. So I renewed with the 5 gb and it still is too much for me to pay every month. So I am not really happy with my choices.

Service is good, customer service is sparse. It's important to know that when you pay up front, as I just did for a year of service, that if you need to cancel for ANY reason Mint will not refund any part of your payment after seven days.
On 2.10.26 I read Mints reply and called the number as I was asked to do. Your agent gave me the same response, that there is nothing I can do to get a partial refund. All that this call did was to waste more of my time and make me angry.

I am an older person on a fixed low income. I bought a phone and plan. I didn't realize I got a plan with my phone. I called and a young woman helped me she said I could have 2 years of service and they would honor both payments. Now 1 year later they refuse to honor my 2nd year. After hours talking to different customer service agents. I was told my second plan ran concurrently and it was used up already.
NEVER TRUST MINT MOBILE!!!

Hard to believe that I'm going into my third month without the MINT service I've already paid for! Six months into my one year contract, my phone went down and I lost my service! Three months and dozens of calls to MINT later I still haven't had my service "reconnected!" They have verified my account, me and every subsequent phone I've put a new SIM in. But nothing has worked! Now I have tried buying a whole new MINT plan and SIM to see if that works? This cost an additional $45 to the $360 (full year) I have already paid! And MINT, don't ask me to call your Help line again! I have already called 30+times! And nothing has worked! P.S. MINT is NOT a phone company, therefore they have NO service centers! And their heavily accented support staff are 6,000 miles away! You have absolutely NO customer support with MINT!

I reached out to Mint mobile to request my subscription be extended from Feb 25 to March 25 to better suit my annual subscription costs. Mint mobile team refused to help me in any way even though I have been with them for years. They will be losing a loyal customer over 1 month.

I got eSIM and the QR could would not work. After 5 hours of talking and trying to fix the issue, they wanted me to call another team to waste more hours. For sure the worst company to get a service.

I was going to sign up with them but had a question. You are only able to connect with a chatbot or AI if you call. No thanks. I'll stay with T-Mobile.
Quick update 2/9/26: Called again at 4:00 PST - same experience with Mint Fox, the "able Mint Moble AI assistant." Total joke.

Yes I understand this service is cheap, but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t work. I can’t even use my data outside of WiFi because nothing loads. Half the time I don’t even get 5G it’s LTE. I have chatted in so many times I get the same copy paste response. “There’s a known service issue in your area, we are working on it.” It has been MONTHS. Multiple attempts at getting it fixed. Nothing ever changes. I asked if I can cancel because I’m fed up and they tell me no. They suck you in by having the yearly rate be $15, you save so much so you bite the bullet but as soon as you do you’re screwed. No refunds even when it’s a them issue. Absolutely sham of a company, I will never renew with mint again and anyone I’ve recommended it to, I am so sorry never again. I guess I’ll have to cancel and get a chargeback from the bank. Absolutely pathetic. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! They do not care! Once they have it you’re done.
