Review of LeShuttle
I’ve used the Shuttle quite a lot over the years and have generally been happy with the service, particularly the flexibility of arriving early and normally being allowed on an earlier train. Today I arrived at Calais early and wasn’t offered an earlier train. I checked on their website and they were still selling tickets for the earlier train (16:16) so it clearly had space on it. When I went to the customer services desk they told me that the earlier train was full, which was clearly untrue, as they were still selling tickets for that train. I appreciate that if the earlier trains are actually full then they cannot offer any flexibility, but if they are still selling tickets for the earlier train then there must have still been capacity.

Review of DIY Kitchens
We used DIY Kitchens in 2020 for a kitchen and were really impressed with the planning process, price, and the quality of the units. We've since moved house and naturally went to DIY Kitchens first for our kitchen units.
Five years later and the planning process has been awful. The planning software was always a bit glitchy but it seems to have got worse rather than improved.
The main problem is that whenever you have an issue with the planning software, you have to raise a ticket, which takes a day or two to be responded to. If, like me, you have a full time job and only have time to plan the kitchen at weekends, this means that every issue you come across results in a week's delay to the process. The phone support cannot help with issues with the planning software.
Basic functions like duplicating an existing plan just cause bugs which have to be fixed by a human at their end.
Another annoyance is that at the end of March, they kept saying 'prices will rise in one week' and then delaying the rise by another week, this happened at least twice. This just pressurises people into placing orders unnecessarily.
I still hope that we can get to a point where we can place an order, as the quality of the units was good last time, but I am getting to the stage where I am so frustrated with the planning and ordering process I may go elsewhere.

Paid extra to have three photo books delivered before Christmas (23 December was the stated delivery date on their website) and it is now 8 January and they have still not arrived. They were supposed to be a Christmas present so pretty disappointed.

Review of Armishaws Removals & Storage
We booked Armishaws for our move from Staines to London. We used the full pack service where they packed on day one and delivered and unloaded on day two. Andy, Luke, Graham, Martin and Mark were all brilliant. Everything was packed very well and delivered carefully to the correct rooms at the other end. Couldn’t fault the service, and would highly recommend them. Thanks very much!

Delivered the wrong size trainers (shoes were a different size to the label on the box). Refused to collect the trainers even though it was their error due to poor stock management. I have never purchased anything from Sports Direct before and I never will again.

Soak delivered our first order with the shower missing. They despatched the replacement shower to the wrong address (billing address rather than delivery address). They told us the bath we wanted was out of stock then delivered it unexpectedly with no warning so we hadn’t prepared a space for it. The Iker taps we bought are of poor quality and the instructions do not make sense.
