I purchased a Ford focus ecoboost from a garage ( Approved Motor Group Ltd) owned by the same guy who owns this Company in Nov 2023. I Was told a recon engine had been fitted by this Company as he owned both the garage and Approved engines Ltd. This was confirmed by Company House. The car came with 6 months warranty however all requests for warranty documentation were ignored. Engine loses coolant and has done from day 1 and also engine light has always flagged a emissions issue from Bank 1. Also has an oil leak. All these faults were within the so called 6 months warranty period. Tried calling only to have calls ignored. Sent emails with photos but again all ignored. I even posted a letter to the premises directly for the attention of the director who signed for the letter but once again this was ignored. The engine issues I have certainly seem to reflect other reviews on here as well as the non existing customer service and warranty. Definately avoid these cowboys.

Don't waste your time with the bike trade in valuation

Booked a bike trade in valuation for my son's bike which was bought in 2020 and been used around 5 times as he couldnt ride a bike . Has now learnt to ride without stabilisers and is struggling abit with the peddling as it doesn't have gears so thought I'd trade it in for a geared bike. Has some small marks where the stabilisers were and ends of the grips marked due to him putting the bike down. Other than that it's as new. £120 paid new. £20 offered for a trade in. This is in vouchers for Halfords so they are getting more business so you would think they would be more generous. Absolute waste of my time. Please Halfords don't offer this joke of a service. Get rid of it as it's just insulting .

Damaged parts / Ignored messages / Disgusting customer services

I received my childs ride on after spending nearly £450. Unfortunately it arrived with damage to the thread on the front axle as it came through the box in transit. I sent pictures to the customer services email as their as no phone line active at the moment and received an email on the Thursday evening apologising and that they can send out a replacement axle and pick up the damaged part between the hours of 9-5 monday to friday..... This all seemed great but unfortunately this is where the bad reviews I read seem to be correct... I emailed first thing in the morning to ask if this replacement could be sent to my work address due to the hours of delivery . After not receiving anything back for hours I sent another email in the afternoon again asking if they could send to an alternative address. At 4.50pm I received a reply to tell me yes I can but it will have to be dispatched Monday now as its too late even though I had emailed 8 hours earlier. I emailed my work address and asked if dispatch could be booked for Monday to arrive Tuesday and please could I have confirmation sent out to me. After receiving nothing back on the Monday morning I once again emailed asking for confirmation and again sent my work address. I received nothing back so emailed a second time that day in the early afternoon yet again asking for confirmation. Then a third email at 4pm asking for confirmation as I needed to get this built for my children as it was a christmas present was still was not replied to. I find it hard to believe that an email would not be read in 8 hours. I then decided to go via the facebook route and sent a message to them on there explaining the course of events and that I would like a reply . This message was read but again ignored. The Tuesday was very much the same with me sending numerous emails just simply asking for confirmation that the broken part was going to be replaced and what day as we are now getting very close to christmas. I later sent an email stating that if I did not receive a reply by the end of the day I can only assume that they would rather me just build the car with a broken part and that the safety of my child is of no concern to them . All of my emails and messages we ignored. I am now contacting engineering companies to see if I can get the axle fixed at my own expense so I can build the car otherwise my children wont have their christmas present. This is a completely unacceptable level of customer services and you would think a company selling childrens toys would have a level of concern with childrens safety on their products but this is obviously not the case. I question if there is any validity of any warranty on their products because they just ignore everyone's messages and emails . I will be very suprised if they reply to this review but we will see.

Order smashed to pieces. Victoria Plumb are useless and Don't Care !!!!

My order turned up smashed to pieces from the courier . I contacted then via online chat and phone as well as emailing the customer services with the images as they requested.. all of which absolutely ages and then I was just told they would tell the suppliers to send me another order . The delivery was 4 days early so I asked if the replacement could be delivered by the original delivery date as I had the work planned based on this and They told me they would request this and if there was any problems with it I would hear from them . 3 days later I contacted them to ask if they were being delivered the next day as I had not heard anything. I was told they hadn't heard anything from the supplier so they couldn't say. They stated that when they hear from the supplier they would contact me regarding the delivery. I pointed out that if that was the case they were definitely not going to turn up the next day as they hadn't heard from the supplier. They then repeated they couldn't say either way if they would be delivered the next day which completely contradicted what they had just said. They then said they have requested a replacement and that's all they could do. I asked if they could not phone the supplier and was told they have many and didn't know what supplier they were ( how did they request replacements if they didn't know the supplier ???? ) I then told them who the supplier was as it was on the delivery note that came with the original damaged tiles. Again they said they couldn't call the supplier and had done all they could do. The next day surprise surprise no tiles delivered so I decided to call their supplier direct using the information and number on the delivery note and they were brilliant. Although they said I should be contacting Victoria plumb and not them once I explained I was getting nowhere they were happy to look into my order. They also told me they had actually replied to the email sent by Victoria plumb the same day they received the replacement request ( 4 days ago ) asking for the batch number and the amount of tiles that had been smashed. Victoria plumb had told me they hadn't had any reply from them. They said they would send me the whole order again withing 3 days and apologized for the problems I had. I will go straight to the supplier next time ( Travis Perkins ) and definitely will not be using Victoria Plumb again. They are absolutely useless and do not care about their customers once they have their money. I still have not heard from Victoria Plumb to say my replacement order is being delivered !! Cut out the middle man and go straight to the supplier. No doubt they will be cheaper too!!

Drivers taking advantage of no…

Drivers taking advantage of no signiture deliveries and stealing. My parcel tracking jumped from 2 stops to go then to delivered . I was in the front garden at the time! Customer services are only available via webchat who just kept saying the parcel shows as delivered and that maybe I should check the front of the property or with neighbours. Again I had to explain that I was in the front garden by the front door as the parcel status changed .was advised to contact the sender!!!! Again I explained that the sender will just assume I have the parcel!! Absolute thieves
