Review of Scotiabank

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

What is happening to Scotiabank customer care??

I literally just went through FOUR telephone agents representing Scotiabank, all of which kept placing me on hold and never resolving a very simple question regarding interest rates. Like I have all damn day to sit and wait for an answer that should have taken less than 10 minutes. Even that's too long. I have dealt with Scotiabank for years and I have to say that your customer service has gone for a complete shit. All FOUR so called "Customer Service" reps didn't have a clue (Scotiabanks fault for shitty incompetent management). Every one of them passed me onto another department as I waited on line for several minutes for an answer, only to be placed on hold repeated times. Scotiabank, you're sliding big time. Your customer service has become as pleasant as Telus and your agents clearly need better training, better customer service skills and a better wage for them to give a shit about your long time dedicated customers. I'm thinking of moving banks just over today's shitty experience.

Review of VMedia

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS

I would highly recommend not using VMedia. Their customer service is unbelievably the worst I have ever experienced. The Indian men you speak with are horribly rude, condescending and don't appear to like women in general. If you happen to get a female customer care, they are wonderful, however, they eventually pass you on to a rude male. I received a call from vmedia on a few occasions while I had been out of the country informing me that my credit card was declined or payment was not received. I heard two different stories. I called my credit card company and they informed me that vmedia clearly had a glitch in their payment system because there were no issues with my credit card. Vmedia disconnected my services and attempted to charge me for reactivation and late fee for their glitch. They then raised my bill because tgey said it was not a new account because my old account was deactivated. They disconnected my account for a second time within two days because tgey claimed they forgot to change my card for a $5.00 fee they missed. My account was deactivated and deleted once again. They are unprofessional boneheads and trying to rectify this problem that was 100% their problem, was next to impossible to accomplish. Quebecor ownes VMedia and in their vision and mission statement they claim to provide excellent services and customer services. It is all a crock of crap. Be very aware of this SCAM of pretending to not receive payment, changing your account to a more expensive plan and charging for late and reactivation fees twice in three days. BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS
