BE CAREFUL-DECEPTIVE PRACTICES

BE CAREFUL. We encountered deceptive practices from Redweek when selling our timeshare. We were clearly told, in writing, what our check at closing would be, only to have a different amount presented to us on our closing documents. They also increased their commission by $101. We were told their commission was $899. We were presented with an offer that asked for $2,000 in commission since another broker was involved. We did agree. What I did not know, and was not told until the closing docs, was that they were splitting it $1,000 each, meaning Redweek increased their commission above what I had originally agreed to pay them.

Hi Brian,

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts! As we advised on February 19th and February 26th, the total commission would be $2000. As you're aware, the commission structure when another broker is involved changes as we advised you when we presented the offer initially to you.

We are sorry to hear that you feel like it was deceptive, but you did agree to the $2000 commission and it was disclosed on more than one occasion.

Congratulations on selling your timeshare!

Don't Order

I really wish I had read these other reviews first. Perhaps I can save someone else. Don't order. Don't trust them to do the right thing. I ordered a $95 shirt that I had my eye one for a while. Finally decided to pull the trigger. Got it, washed it....and out of the wash, it will never ever get close to looking like the photos. No amount of ironing will ever accomplish it. Return policy says only unwashed items. I sent it back anyway...there's no way to know the quality until it's been washed. They sent it back to me and refused the return. Even put in their notes "covered with hair." Customer service will do nothing about it. I'm stuck. Tempted to file a complaint with my credit card, but by the terms of the order Carbon is "correct" in refusing the return.
