PayPal charged me for an annual Dropbox subscription (€119) even though the plan was deactivated and the service was never activated. When I contacted support, I was sent in circles — bounced between Dropbox and PayPal, with zero resolution from either side.
Their so-called "Buyer Protection" is a complete joke — it doesn’t apply to digital services, and they use that excuse to deny refunds, even in obvious cases of abuse.
At this point, it honestly feels like PayPal is colluding with Dropbox. They keep charging people for services that don’t work, and neither company takes responsibility.
I no longer trust PayPal as a safe payment platform. It's gone from being a reliable tool to the worst payment service I've used. Feels like a scam run by two companies who split the money they take from unsuspecting users.
