I simply cannot understand the positive…

I simply cannot understand the positive comments here about this place.
It’s a scam disguising as a business. First, neither their subscription options nor their website mention anything about added costs, but once you subscribe to a plan, and pay for it, say the $9.99 per month, you get an email instructing you to fill out a form, and upload your ID. This is when the fun begins, you are then informed that you need to notarize your ID, not verify it, just notarize. really?????, and for that you will need to pay an additional $25, otherwise you cannot activate your POBox. To me that’s textbook scam.

The USPS requires the Form 1583 be completed, notarized and filed with proper IDs in order for the mail center to accept mail on your behalf. This is a USPS requirement, not an iPostal1 requirement, for anyone establishing a mailbox address, whether virtual or physical. Many mail centers allow you to sign the Form 1583 in their presence, in which case notarization may not be required. To notarize your form without going to your mail center, you need to use the online notary service for $25. We devote a full section to the Form 1583 on our FAQs page, and you can find the full setup process, including notarization and the cost, on our website.

Pricing for all ‘Optional Services’ is posted on the Pricing pages on our website. Our goal is total transparency. Our strategy is to charge the lowest monthly mailbox fee possible and then charge customers only for the optional services they choose, like shipping, scanning mail content or mail pickup. We believe this is the fairest way to price, so people who don’t need optional services do not subsidize the people that do.
