“Inadequate Tax-Free Validation Facilities at Bergamo Airport
I departed from Bergamo Airport, where I needed to complete the tax-free validation process using a digital kiosk. However, there was only one machine in the entire airport, which was clearly insufficient—even during the very quiet winter season. I was there on February 2nd, and it is hard to understand why only one kiosk was available.
As a result, tourists had to wait in long queues, and many did not have enough time to complete the validation. Consequently, they were unable to receive their tax refunds.
