Dull reminder, I am not obligated to interact with anyone, and I can block however I may please. There should not have to be a reason in order to block someone, by the way. I usually block if I find your opinions outlandish and don't want to interact with you due to such.
In the alter/nonhuman community, one of my biggest blocks is not being accepting of identities that aren't "typical" and/or having hate against them for little to no good reason. (I say in quotation marks because what the hell are typical identities anyway). This includes physical nonhumans, those who voluntarily identify as things, those who suffer from delusions. If you cannot accept those then personally I don't think you have any right interacting with me. I try my best to include EVERYONE within the community unless they are genuinely problematic. I don't think anyone is "more valid" or "less valid", and it's quite annoying honestly that validity wars exist.
You also have no right to push others out of the community just for expressing themselves differently. (You as in, the general auidence, not anyone in particular.) As much as I am just a random bat on the internet, it's quite sickening to see the same rhetoric floating around, "physical nonhumans aren't allowed in the community!" "We don't want to be associated with those who are delusional!" That isn't your choice. On a personal level it may be (and I think you're a horrible being if that is how you feel and you have made no attempts to work on your feelings), but on a community level it is not. Some of you are extremely ableist and it's disgusting behavior.
when we push out those who are physical therian due to delusion, it makes me feel like we're pushing out those with other mental illnesses, or that we can pick and choose what mental illnesses we "allow" in the community.
And it is absolutely disgusting that this is even happening. I don't understand why anyone would ever want to do anything like this but it is just.. Disturbing to me. /agreeing with novellaonpaws
