My name is Mohammed Nimer, and I am 35 years old from Gaza, Palestine. Three years ago, I married the love of my life, and we began building our dreams together. However, our lives took a devastating turn when the war on Gaza began. 💔

We lived in a humble home near Gaza Port, a place filled with memories and dreams for the future. But in a matter of moments, everything we had worked for was destroyed. Our home, our sanctuary, was reduced to rubble. Along with it, the homes of my family and siblings were also destroyed. My brother was injured in the war, adding to our pain and suffering. 🏠💥

During the conflict, I was trapped in Al-Shifa Hospital, where I was working, for an entire month. The fear and uncertainty during that time were overwhelming, as I worried about my family’s safety while trying to help others in desperate need. 😔🏥

The war forced us to flee from the north of the Gaza Strip multiple times, seeking refuge in the south. We moved from Deir al-Balah to Rafah and then to Nuseirat, each time hoping to find safety, only to face more horror and devastation. The journey has been incredibly hard on us, filled with unimaginable suffering and fear for our lives. 🏃‍♂️🌪️

We have endured the pain of displacement, the loss of our home, and the constant threat of violence. Each day is a battle to find food, water, and a safe place to sleep. Despite our efforts, the situation in Gaza remains dire, and we are struggling to survive. 😞🍞💧

Now everyone in Gaza City is considered mentally ill, a person who feels depressed, feels insecure, feels fear and anxiety to the point of madness. Now we wait and listen to news of a truce or a cessation of war for 60 days, all of which are illusions and false promises. We have become indifferent to the news and promises because we do not have time to listen to them. Since sunrise, we stand in line to fill water, and most of the time we are not lucky enough to get any water, and if we manage to get a little, it is contaminated and unfit for human consumption. We are dying of thirst and hunger. My brother goes to aid to get flour under the bombing and under gunfire, and in the end he returns with nothing. We sleep with empty stomachs. We cannot sleep from the intensity of thirst and hunger. We are suffering in every sense of the word. We live a tragic life. Please put yourself in my place. Would you be able to live in this painful reality? Please help me to get out of this damned war by donating and sharing. Save us.

My family and I lived the worst night of our lives yesterday because the occupation bombed many tents in our camp and we were homeless in the street without a cover or a tent and we miraculously survived and today we went to our tent while we were under bombardment and we found that the roof of the tent was completely removed and now we took what was left of the tent and put it in the street and we are in the street without water or any of the necessities of life and we do not have any food and my brother has been injured for 400 days and he needs water or a blanket and he needs health care and medicine and now we do not have any of the necessities of life we are now terrified and exhausted from fatigue.

A Call from the Heart of Gaza: Everything Has Been Destroyed, and We Need Survival

I am a 50-year-old farmer from Gaza. Throughout my life, the land has been my refuge, and work has been my way of making a living. I would wake up every morning to the sound of the earth, touch it with my hand, and plant what would ensure our survival. But today, the land I love means nothing, because the war has destroyed everything.

My home has been reduced to rubble, and my family is scattered amidst the rubble and destruction. I can no longer tell my son, "This is our home," or reassure my wife that tomorrow will be better. We have lost everything, and our dream of peace has become a mirage.

Now, we are on the streets, homeless, without food, without hope. A life that was once filled with work and hope has turned into a struggle for mere survival.

We need you most. With each passing day, we feel despair creeping into our hearts. We ask for nothing but survival, for a chance at life after so much pain. My little boy sleeps hungry on the cold floor, and my heart is breaking. What should I say to him? How do I explain that life has become endless pain?

Today, we need everything, and any help could be the only light in our dark tunnel.
