Groove is great!
I've been with Groove a long time. I found building a website quite easy and I was able to find videos online which helped and I've attended some of their live trainings which have been fantastic.
Some of the softwares had a couple of issues but like with anything else new, the teething problems had been fixed.
I now run my memberships and products from groove and moved over my other sites to groove.
Easy to do.
Now Mike, Matt and the Team are building even more products with the new scale plus and gave lots of us previous lifetime backers some of them for free!
I don't underpants the negative reviews as people knew they were 'backing' new products and hence why they got them at a cheaper price?
Beta is a word used for a reason!
I have been using groove for not just myself but a number of clients and it's been a lifesaver.
An all-in-one business platform.
The future of groove/scaleplus looks very bright!
Remove the bad apples out of hundreds of thousands of good ones!

The founder and support team are absolutely horrible and unprofessional , instead of solving issues, they silence anyone who speaks the truth. All they care about is maintaining a fake positive image with marketing posts, while real users are left completely helpless.
This is by far the worst tool I’ve ever used , it simply doesn’t work, and the support is non-existent. Mike, the founder, and his team have shown no ethics, no accountability, and no respect for their users.
One of the most disappointing and untrustworthy experiences ever. Stay away.
We all Deserve a Refund!
Losing $Thousands was bad enough, but the time committed to trying to make the platform work, and the loss of business because of it's broken promises was too much... Asking on FB group for help, got me banned, and 1000s of vistors to my website could not purchase... The reason I finally purchased was because Mike Filsaime seemed to have a good name, and the other people that invested in Groove were quite knowledgable... it just shows you, how the internet can be... pushing fake reviews and removing honest reviews can disguse the worst scammers..Filsaime has be around for years doing the same thing... if he was honest he would refund the people who trusted him....
Shameful company. I would like a refund.
This is by far the worst company I have ever worked with and invested in.
From the beginning of signing up, they said they were working to fix certain features. After over 4+ years of waiting and waiting, not only were some features not ever integrated, but worse off, they tool away some options like groovemail. This forced me to have to outsource and pay another company to run emails and integrate form sign up to my website. The site is slow to load. It is clunky and hard for myself and any developers I hired to work with. And worse off, when i contacted support on multiple occasions, I was passed off to other people, who either didn't help me or never responded to my emails.
I would like a full refund for my investment, as this is shameful how you have operated as a company to your loyal customers.
Always "updating" the system and never…
Always "updating" the system and never fixing anything. VERY Hard to use and I was sold on an idea without producing a usable product. Never buy from these guys. Hipe. No real product
A Disaster for Agencies and Your Wallet
Thinking about Groove.cm also known as GrooveFunnels for your agency or business? Don’t waste your time or money until you read this. Here’s everything you need to know about its security nightmares, image-destroying flaws, and the endless costs it’ll drain from you—over and over again.
FAQ: Why should I avoid Groove.cm?
Is Groove.cm secure for my agency? No! Groove’s security is a total joke—one login for your entire team means everyone has access to all your data, including client financials and credit card info. Imagine the disaster if your customers found out your whole staff has the keys to their kingdom. Security issues like this will tank your reputation and cost you clients—it’s a financial and vanity nightmare waiting to happen.
Will it make my brand look professional? Not a chance. Every app—GroovePages, GrooveBlog, GrooveMember, GrooveKart, GrooveWebinar—looks different, with inconsistent designs that scream “cheap.” Your precious image and brand take a hit because it’s impossible to look polished with this mess. Security isn’t the only problem; your inconsistent, unprofessional image will cost you time and money fixing what Groove breaks.
Can I scale my business with it? Good luck! With one shared login, scaling means risking your customers’ sensitive data—there’s no audit trail, no control. What would your clients say if they knew every employee could see their financials? That’s a security disaster that’ll cost you trust, money, and your agency’s reputation. Time and money down the drain, all because Groove can’t keep up.
FAQ: What about usability and costs?
Is it easy to use? Nope. Each app has its own clunky interface and a steep learning curve that’ll waste your time—and time is money. You’ll spend hours training your team on this Frankenstein of a platform, all while it negatively affects your brand with its amateurish look. Security issues aside, the inconsistent apps make you look bad and cost you more than you’ll save.
Does it save money? Only if you ignore the hidden costs. There’s virtually no data captured for marketing decisions—want analytics? Buy third-party apps. More setup, more mistakes, more money. Groove’s “free for a year” gimmick? It’ll take that long just to build a page, and by then, your image is trashed. Security risks, a cheap-looking brand, and endless add-ons—it’s a financial sinkhole.
FAQ: How does it affect my agency’s image?
What about invoicing and branding? Your invoices say “GroovePay”—no personal branding, just their name. Clients will think you’re a low-rent operation, not a professional agency. Combine that with the mismatched, outdated app designs, and your image is doomed. Security flaws give everyone access to sensitive data, and the shabby look costs you credibility—time and money wasted on a sinking ship.
Is it modern and professional? Hardly. It’s a five-year-old relic with a fresh coat of paint—limited graphics, no cutting-edge widgets, and a cobbled-together email system that barely works. Your brand looks stuck in the past, and the security mess (one login!) makes it worse. You’ll spend time and money trying to polish this turd, and it’ll still hurt your image.
FAQ: Can it handle real agency needs?
Is it a CRM or integrated platform? Not even close. “Integrated” is a generous lie—it’s a patchwork of tools that don’t talk to each other. No A/B testing, no real AI, no data for data-driven marketing. Your weakest link will be Groove’s security (one login for all!), its inconsistent branding (say goodbye to your image), and the time and money you’ll waste cobbling it together.
What if I need support? You’re on your own. They owe employees, partners, and affiliates money—good luck getting help. Meanwhile, your team juggles multiple windows just to get anything done, costing you time and money. Your brand suffers, your security’s at risk, and your finances take the hit.
Final Thoughts: Groove.cm is a security disaster (one login for all!), a branding catastrophe (inconsistent, cheap-looking apps), and a money pit (time, add-ons, and setup nightmares). If you value your agency’s finances or your vanity, steer clear. It’s the weakest link that’ll cost you everything—trust, clients, and your professional image. Run, don’t walk, away from this outdated scam.
Groove Funnels and Groove.cm are the same company
Groove Funnels and Groove.cm are the same company, FYI. I bought their lifetime account because they included the ability to send email and not use a separate email provider. It was supposed to be for 50,000 contacts. Their email has never worked as it was supposed to. And now they have reduced the contacts to 500 and charge $14.95 per month for more. Yes, that's correct, they are charging for a feature I and other ALREADY paid for. They use their Facebook group as their main form of communication but kick out and ban anyone who points out the fact that they sold us a service based on false premises and deserve a refund. Now they seem to be making a money-grab before they go out of business. Groove.cm has been reported to the FTC and BBB by several customers just this week.
Groove is a scam - save your money
The whole Groove family of products is a scam. They create a minimal product, promote it heavily with lots of flashy promises they never deliver on, sign people up and then essentially abandon the product and move onto the next one. Support is a more than joke, it is completely non-existent. Their latest scam is Groove.ai where they are playing out the same scenario they used with GrooveFunnels, Groove.cm and now, Groove.ai. Don't fall for it.
Customer support is non existence
Customer support is non existence. I purchased lifetime and the system doesn't work as it should. I have referred numerous people as part of affiliate program and have not been paid the affiliate commission that is due from 2 years ago. Emails sent to support go unanswered. They take people money and spew lies to get people to sign up.
Snake oil salesmen. Avoid at all cost
I bought Groove with it was still called GrooveFunnels. It still does not work three years later. Total crap. I don't trust ANYTHING they push in their sales letter. Snake oil salesmen who rip off their customers. Avoid at all cast.
Zero Customer Service| Never Response
Zero Customer Service, they never responds.
From a Pro Software Developer -> Huge Scam
Huge scam. I am a professional Software Developer and have been contracted by a few of smaller clients to use Groove. Whenever I hear that a client wants Groove as their platform I highly insist against it. I have never heard anything good about them in the engineering world and have never had a good experience myself. Mind you, I don't spend any of my own money on this platform so I am not saying this out of bitterness.
Run far away from this product. They over-promise again and again with the same rotation of promised updates so they can increase sales quickly, but they know sure and well that they do not have the capacity to deliver on those features. No dev team of this size can acheive what they are claiming to build, and it shows in their delivery.
Behind the scenes, many of their higher ups have resigned or been fired, and they have high turnover with their dev-team. There are confirmed reports that they aren't paying affiliates. They also promise life-time access to clients, which some have mentioned being locked out of their accounts after some time. Clients I worked with didn't even have access to certain features because Groove servers were down for WEEKS, causing them to miss out on vital sales periods before Christmas. These are screaming red flags. If an app is broken, it SHOULD NOT go to market. And yet Groove is marketing this as if it is a completed project with no issues.
In my experience working with Groove, I had to report bugs EVERY SINGLE DAY. And I am speaking of large bugs that prohibit progress. The GrooveKart server was down for weeks, so my client could not upload products to the store, missing the window for Christmas sales. When adding content to the website, it would often give a confirmation that it had saved, only to not save any of the work we had done. And you had no way of knowing if it actually saved or not until you left the site and came back. This was hours and hours worth of lost time having to push through this bug that can only happen through blatant negligence. Other problems experienced could only be caused by an inept dev team: being able to add content and not being able to update or delete it later. Admin features not being accessible to different screen sizes or browsers.. in other words, if you didnt have a certain laptop then parts of the admin dashboard didn't work or were inaccesible. Then there are the crashes, the extremely slow speed, the lack of tutorials or documentation, the servers being down for days at a time with no warning. Etc. And most horribly, they have stopped customer service altogether so if you have an issue or want a refund you will NEVER GET A RESPONSE BACK.
Please do not invest any time or money here. I wish they would get shutdown so they would stop scamming people. I sincerely feel bad for my clients and people who spent money on this. Groove should be tried for fraud.
Behold the sinking of the Titanic II
My wife bought the lifetime platinum deal for our business. It seemed like a good deal but two years later it's worse than before. In fact it never worked well. The software is not maintained. There was exactly ONE software update notification in FOUR months and it's not even for bugs that need to be urgently fixed, some that have been around for 2+ years.
I hardly ever write reviews but I've just had it with them and their lying and pretending to be holier then the pope. I don't want others to think they are making a good "Holiday sale" purchase but actually are throwing money away they'll never see a return on.
Their new offer on Groove CM + the new Groove AI monstrosity (terribly overhyped and underdeveloped like the rest, and nowhere near any lean startup can do in two weeks) is shown at a price cheaper than what we paid 2 years ago for their buggy pagebuilder alone. They will deny it but it's clear funding is drying up, there is no development, hardly anyone in the group anymore and nobody is promoting it either.
That's what happens when you use revenue to fund your own side projects: fancy Grooveplex studios, the showboating every year, the tools for your personal affiliate marketing projects,... instead of spending it on software development for the thousands of lifetime customers left with a buggy platform and fewer apps/solutions than we have been promised.
I'm surprised they haven't had a class action lawsuit yet with this level of fake advertising and fraudulent business practices! Starts one and I will join!
Before, I felt the term "scammers" was hard as it was probably just bad management, but now I feel it is justified. There is no progress, no transparency (only feigned when on air to lure in more customers), no support (clueless or no replies), no honesty (only lies and blaming customers), no scruples (lying on camera to make a buck), no plan or timeline (deleted a few years ago), no results.
In an attempt to show all was going well with Groove the CEO was even boasting for half an hour on a State of the Groovion that they were negotiating with MULTIPLE x figure investors. Of course that fell through. Who would be stupid enough to mention that on live broadcasts and play potential investors against one another? ... More likely, they never existed in the first place and it was just to placate potential customers.
I looked at the team today (much too late I admit) to check their credentials and recognized in the reviews here on TrustPilot that Groove COO Maat Seralta is giving Groove.cm 5 stars and acts as if he's a customer. Mind boggling!
In reality their and our sites often time out, and our Pagespeed Rank on Groove is now one third of what it was 2 years ago. It hurts our SEO so badly that a web developer is move our sites elsewhere now because since hosting on Groove we've dropped more than 5 PAGES in Google, even though we keep adding content. Webmaster Tools keeps warning about all of the problems with the site and we can't do anything about because it's the code by Groove.
If you have a site with them, best to move it elsewhere quickly as I doubt they'll be around 6 months from now. Your site might be gone as well.
The latest promotion looks like the final cash grab before the ship sinks, just like when they mismanaged funds the year before, cheated their affiliates out of payments for over a year, and bought VIP booths at sports arenas instead. So don't be surprised if early next year all of a sudden you get a "page not found" error.
We gave our trust to Groove for 2 years. We're done. No more lies and scams.
UPDATE 13 DEC: I just woke up after writing about our experience and found an email from Trustpilot in my inbox where Groove "asked more information such as reference and phone number".
Very convenient when their admin dashboard has been so terribly broken for half a year that user information and billing info isn't even showing!
When we asked for a refund earlier this year we were declined. I suspect they will now suddenly want to bribe us with a refund in return for us swiping the dirt under the carpet.
NOTE: They have just deleted their COO's review here where he gave his own company 5 STARS!
If the company was honest with customers they would never even put a fake review up to promote their services in the first place. I'm sure they will have staff write some fake 5 star reviews this month.
UPDATE 14 DEC: Even though Groove full well knows who we are, I've read that they are trying to have our review deleted, INSTEAD OF REPLYING TO IT AND COUNTERING EACH OF OUR POINTS.
This is a TRUTHFUL REVIEW based on OUR EXPERIENCES, evidences as well in other peoples reviews here.
IMPORTANT: Best to screenshot/share this and add your own experiences with them, in case they succeed.
Too many people have been duped by these used car salesman scamming tactics.
Lifetime customer here for over 2…
Lifetime customer here for over 2 years. The company is very weak in customer service, tech support, the interface and userfriendliness. Instead of providing great service and fulfilling promise, they fail and fail again. If you only want to put out a quick page, it’s doable, but if you want something solid, stay away.
Don't honour their promises
They're dishonest and don't deliver. We bought the lifetime plan in 2020 for the sole purpose of using the "live webinars" function. GrooveFunnels promised this feature would be available by the *end of 2020*. After waiting three years (until August 2023), I asked for a refund because they STILL didn't have the live webinar feature. I have never used the software at all, because I'm not interested in the other features (and when I checked them out more than once, I wasn't impressed by their quality). They said no to the refund, because I didn't ask within 30 days of buying. But they had promised to release the live webinar function only 5 months after I bought. So, I bought on faith and obviously didn't ask a refund after 30 days. When by the end of 2020 the live webinar function still wasn't released, I (graciously) gave them more time because I thought they would deliver if I gave them time.
When I contacted them (in Aug 2023), their response was, "We understand your desire for access to the Live webinars. However, as mentioned in the first development updates video with Mike Filsaime and David Lemon, the development of other apps is set to begin next year. You can catch all the details in the following video: [YouTube video link, which I may not share on Trustpilot]." This video is from Dec 2022. In this video they promise Live webinars will start development in 2024. They announce it as if they had never promised it would be released earlier. They promised the release of Live Webinars by Dec 2020, and I said that in my first email to them. So a video from 2 years later saying they'll start working on it in 2024 is not a valid answer whatsoever. I responded that they had promised 2020 (including a screenshot of their promise). I never heard from them again.
I can't respect a company that doesn't honour their promises, and then acts as if they never made such a promise.
Simply scammers
Simply scammers, their success is based on scamming people, don't pay attention to the fake reviews posted by groove.cm people on their webinars or websites, most of those reviews are bought and fake.
They recently launched an offer of a $99 free for life plan if you attend their 3 hour webinar session, seeing how their platform works and pure scam, even the invitation of the event said the same free for life plan, at the end of the event they come out with that you have to pay $2000 to access for life to a plan that they had not promised, they had promised the $99 free for life plan.
They make you stay to a webinar where they wash your ideas saying that it is the best software where you stay 2 hours watching the demonstration "webinar" that is not live at all, everything is recorded and the comments of the supposed live webinar are false "bots" and all so that in the end it is a complete scam.
I am very frusterated at Groove…
I am very frusterated at Groove Funnels. Not only did I purchase it based on the Big Promises but promoted it to a lot of people. The basics of the pages are still glitchy and my site does not work correctly. Chat rarely is there to answer and I it takes forever. I was hoping for a great product and feel they pushed too many other things instead of focusing on the CORE promises of the basics of the site. It should not be glitchy several years later.
I bought groovefunnels about a year and…
I bought groovefunnels about a year and half ago and got the lifetime membership. It was an okay platform for building my websites. However, now that I am building a membership site and affiliate program (for my business, not theirs) I'm running into many hurdles. The membership site does not display properly on mobile phones (pdfs). When affiliates make sales the listed payment amount is more than the what it should be based on the percentage you alloted (they actually pay commissions on tax and there is no way to specify that commissions are only to be paid on the non-tax amount). I have sent them several emails lately and have either not gotten a response, or received an email asking me to send more info. I send the info and then get no response. Also, everytime I try to do livechat its not available, even during times when it is supposed to be. Also, the site for your own affiliate program has a button for paying affiliates but when you click on the 3 options listed (PayPal, etc.) nothing happens.
This is getting really frustrating and it is slowing down my progress launching a product. I had high hopes (but realistic hopes) for groovefunnels but they are proving to be a dud.
