Behold the sinking of the Titanic II

My wife bought the lifetime platinum deal for our business. It seemed like a good deal but two years later it's worse than before. In fact it never worked well. The software is not maintained. There was exactly ONE software update notification in FOUR months and it's not even for bugs that need to be urgently fixed, some that have been around for 2+ years.

I hardly ever write reviews but I've just had it with them and their lying and pretending to be holier then the pope. I don't want others to think they are making a good "Holiday sale" purchase but actually are throwing money away they'll never see a return on.

Their new offer on Groove CM + the new Groove AI monstrosity (terribly overhyped and underdeveloped like the rest, and nowhere near any lean startup can do in two weeks) is shown at a price cheaper than what we paid 2 years ago for their buggy pagebuilder alone. They will deny it but it's clear funding is drying up, there is no development, hardly anyone in the group anymore and nobody is promoting it either.

That's what happens when you use revenue to fund your own side projects: fancy Grooveplex studios, the showboating every year, the tools for your personal affiliate marketing projects,... instead of spending it on software development for the thousands of lifetime customers left with a buggy platform and fewer apps/solutions than we have been promised.

I'm surprised they haven't had a class action lawsuit yet with this level of fake advertising and fraudulent business practices! Starts one and I will join!

Before, I felt the term "scammers" was hard as it was probably just bad management, but now I feel it is justified. There is no progress, no transparency (only feigned when on air to lure in more customers), no support (clueless or no replies), no honesty (only lies and blaming customers), no scruples (lying on camera to make a buck), no plan or timeline (deleted a few years ago), no results.

In an attempt to show all was going well with Groove the CEO was even boasting for half an hour on a State of the Groovion that they were negotiating with MULTIPLE x figure investors. Of course that fell through. Who would be stupid enough to mention that on live broadcasts and play potential investors against one another? ... More likely, they never existed in the first place and it was just to placate potential customers.

I looked at the team today (much too late I admit) to check their credentials and recognized in the reviews here on TrustPilot that Groove COO Maat Seralta is giving Groove.cm 5 stars and acts as if he's a customer. Mind boggling!

In reality their and our sites often time out, and our Pagespeed Rank on Groove is now one third of what it was 2 years ago. It hurts our SEO so badly that a web developer is move our sites elsewhere now because since hosting on Groove we've dropped more than 5 PAGES in Google, even though we keep adding content. Webmaster Tools keeps warning about all of the problems with the site and we can't do anything about because it's the code by Groove.

If you have a site with them, best to move it elsewhere quickly as I doubt they'll be around 6 months from now. Your site might be gone as well.

The latest promotion looks like the final cash grab before the ship sinks, just like when they mismanaged funds the year before, cheated their affiliates out of payments for over a year, and bought VIP booths at sports arenas instead. So don't be surprised if early next year all of a sudden you get a "page not found" error.

We gave our trust to Groove for 2 years. We're done. No more lies and scams.

UPDATE 13 DEC: I just woke up after writing about our experience and found an email from Trustpilot in my inbox where Groove "asked more information such as reference and phone number".

Very convenient when their admin dashboard has been so terribly broken for half a year that user information and billing info isn't even showing!

When we asked for a refund earlier this year we were declined. I suspect they will now suddenly want to bribe us with a refund in return for us swiping the dirt under the carpet.

NOTE: They have just deleted their COO's review here where he gave his own company 5 STARS!

If the company was honest with customers they would never even put a fake review up to promote their services in the first place. I'm sure they will have staff write some fake 5 star reviews this month.

UPDATE 14 DEC: Even though Groove full well knows who we are, I've read that they are trying to have our review deleted, INSTEAD OF REPLYING TO IT AND COUNTERING EACH OF OUR POINTS.

This is a TRUTHFUL REVIEW based on OUR EXPERIENCES, evidences as well in other peoples reviews here.

IMPORTANT: Best to screenshot/share this and add your own experiences with them, in case they succeed.

Too many people have been duped by these used car salesman scamming tactics.
