horrible customer service

Literally horrible customer service . If they cancel an order they won’t even tell you . You’ll just be sat around waiting for your order until you go to check the status to see it’s been cancelled. They Don’t notify you that you’re gonna be refunded or ANYTHING. No communication whatsoever.

I ordered this King Size Somnior Bed, but unfortunately it’s just impossible to get it upstairs, so I emailed customer services 4 times on Wednesday 11th February , in my last email I have included Dan Finley, Chief Executive of Debenhams , but WoW👎👎👎 Debenhams Customer Service Services don’t bother answering customer enquiries, so Mr Dan Finley can you explain why are they being paid for not doing this detailed work, I find this company attitude towards customers is utterly unacceptable, I want my product returned and money refunded
On Wednesday because didn’t get any response to my emails , I written to Dan Finley, Chief Executive asking about my order.
I encouraged others who considering ordering from Debenhams, be EXTRA CAREFUL, because this business is just PLAIN AMATEURISH, If ZERO was available that’s what I would give

Impossible to contact Debenhams

I ordered four items in January. Three arrived in one parcel. There was no dispatch note explaining one item was to follow. When I sign in online it says the missing item is dispatched for last 2 weeks. If you have Android you can't use the apple messenger. I don't want my e mails managed by outlook and couldn't remember my password to add that. There is no other method of contact. I googled an e mail and tried to send a query but it is stuck in my outbox. Guessing their e mail is full. I am a good customer but so frustrated will NEVER order with them again. I know this is the digital age, but you sign away so much of your privacy rights to sign up to these messaging apps when you shouldn't need to. Online companies are using our data as a commodity. Never Again. Debenhams is a shocking business who disregards customers so much they create barriers when you need to contact them. Just go to a shop guys!!

Debenhams has very poor management and…

Debenhams has very poor management and is a bad place to shop. Don’t be fooled by their advertising. They are not giving customers their proper right to return items. It has been 2 months since I returned goods worth £200, but I still have not received my refund.

System needs to be updated

I Ordered 2 items and only 1 was delivered. The item that was not in my delivery was apparently out of stock when ordered. But l was still charged.
I do think their SYSTEM NEEDS TO BE UPDATED...So it doesn't allow you to purchase and be charged, if the item is out of stock. In fairness to them l was emailed a gift card as a refund the next day. Didn't see it as it went in my junk box.
When l contacted customer service to find out where my item was, l was dealt with by Kai. The reply was prompt and the information and resolution was relayed in a timely manner.
Well done kai.

The third party ( Boohoo/ Regatta used…

The third party ( Boohoo/ Regatta used EVRI! EVRI had it in their depot from 4th February and after 'their thorough investigation ' deemed it LOST! SO told me to go back to Debenhams to get replacement/ refund.
Debenhams are so slow to respond! Every response says due to high volume expect reply in 48 hours. Then they don't read anything I have sent and keep asking for ' PROOF OF POSTAGE' for an item I never got.

I tried emailing. Usual response 'high volume...'
Website atrocious online chat seems to be through facebook and twitter messenging ( how secure is that!!) and once again AI chatbot eventually passing through to agent expect a delay!!

Unfortunately you can't see the delivery company till you have ordered and paid!
No phone number, not surprised as so many complaints!

Website now states no replacements sent out.Cancel,request refund and reorder!!
What century do we live in!!

Absolutely appalling customer service

Absolutely appalling customer service! I ordered a dehumidifier that was a gift for Christmas when we attempted to open we noticed the filter compartment broken so informed them on the 1st Jan via email but did not hear back as promised in the email. So I chased again and had no reply whatsoever. I contacted Klarna to hold payment and then managed to get hold of them through Facebook messenger. I explained no one was responding and I was told it would be dealt with and they would arrange collection. We waited in on teo sepreate occasions when they were suppose to collect and they were a no show on both days. We had taken time off work to do this so to say I wasn’t happy was an understatement. Everytime I message them it asks me the same information and every time I fills my get a real agent message they say I will hear back by a certain date but I never do. I have to go through the same process each and everytime and still no closer to getting the item collected or my money back. They are a nightmare to get hold of and very unreliable. Extremely poor customer service. I will never use again. The fact you can not contact them by telephone either is frustrating. They are working in partnership with a company called Obe Retailer Group and they are just as terrible. I have been hugely inconvenienced and not prepared to be anymore. I will be demanding my money back through Klarna

TRULY APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE

Just spent the last 7 WEEKS exchanging e-mails with their supposed customer service. I wanted to return a coat, their website wouldn't recognise the order numbers THEY GAVE ME and they claimed they didn't exist even though I managed to get a QR code only to find that Asda's machine wouldn't read it. I just went round in circles and couldn't get them to help. Although the internet says they arrange collection they deny this and say I can return the coat at my own expense. I spent £3.60 on a letter I sent to them so you can imagine how much a coat would cost. I'm reporting them to Trading Standards. I read in the news today that one person high up that I wrote to there, Mr Mahmud Kamani (also Boohoo owner) is being investigated. "Boohoo tycoon must have known about Leicester sweatshops, lawyers claim. High Court lawsuit says co-founder of retail chain was likely aware of ‘unsafe conditions’". DON'T BUY FROM DEBENHAMS - THEY'RE APPALLING.

Would give no stars if able

Would give no stars if able. I purchased a coverless duvet which when it arrived I wasn't happy with the weight or quality of. I have tried numerous times to email for a returns label (as that is the instructions you are given) but noone replies to the email. I have contacted them via messenger, to be given the same email address I have already been using. I would avoid at all costs

Please do not ever use this company

Please do not ever use this company. I have been waiting 2 1/2 months for a resolution. Their customer services is non existent and you just keep repeating the same info again and again and again. They keep fobbing you off. They should cease trading before more customers lose their money.

Awful customer service

I won't be ordering from Debenhams again. I ordered some perfume on the website as it was on sale, but quickly found it at a cheaper price elsewhere. I immediately tried to cancel my order as it hadn't been dispatched yet, but was told by the AI bot that this would be impossible as the order was already being processed. I then tried to create a return, but this was also impossible as perfume is classed as a 'non-returnable item' even if it's still sealed! I'm so fed up - this is awful customer service.

Over charged delivery poor customer service

Over charged delivery of 5.99 for next day delivery even though used a free delivery code which was accepted then charged extra 2.49 for delivery support again I didn't ask for won't refund the cost customer service are shocking so when the item does finally turn up I'm refusing delivery and raising a dispute with klarna avoid this company it's not the same company as before it went into administration these are scammers

The courier stole my item and delivered an empty package ..
Debenhams refused to reimburse me so I paid for nothing.
