Vriska serket?
Playing Homestuck police is good for a laugh, but at some point we've got to acknowledge that it's a sufficiently influential piece of media that some portions of its distinctive jargon have in fact entered the broader vernacular. There are people out there who refer to visual novel style dialogue portraits as "talksprites" who've never heard of Vriska Serket.

TALK SPRITE IS A HOME STUCK TERM?????
It was initially popularised by the Homestuck fandom, yes, though I don't recall off the jump whether it actually appears in the comic proper.
(While Google search queries are admittedly only a rough estimate of a term's spread, a quick Google Trends search suggests that the term's use was marginal at best prior to September of 2012, which the dedicated Homestuck fan may recognise as the exact moment that the big Earthbound-style minigame where you play as Meenah dropped.)

I think one of my favourite Types of Guy on this site are people who have the name of a character from a piece of popular media as their handle – not even a variant or misspelling, they managed to snag the name straight up – and a picture of that character for an avatar, but they never post about the media that character is from. Just fucking Vriska Serket rolling up in your notes with opinions about cheese.
My art for the 2026 Homestuck Calendar! seriously grab yourself a copy the work this year is jawdropping
I have a confession.
As you all know, I cannot stand bitches (aka women). However, something is stirring within my blackened heart. The webcomic Homestuck has been testing my core beliefs... You see, I have been enamored by many of its characters: Bro Strider, Gamzee, the obvious choices. But to my utter shock, Vriska Serket has dug her womanly claws into my mind and cracked open my skull like a misogynist coconut. Watching her die and ascend to godhood, killing that pussy Tavros, and generally manipul8--fuck, I mean manipulate-- the world to her favor... it rings of an Alpha individual, one that says "Just try and fuck with me, you foolish cowards!" It reminds me of the Joker, who similarly Takes No Fucks. It reaffirms my belief that women are Bitches, but it causes me to wonder if some of them are Bitches in a cool way, not just in a stupid feminist "girlboss" way. Food for thought........
