Only regret I have about greenworks tools is that I didn't buy them sooner. Great hedge trimmer and strimmer, very sharp lightweight easy to use, the strimmer has two speeds and a progressive trigg... Mehr ansehen

If the company had responded in a straight forward way I probably would have accepted a replacement but the use of a AI customer service bot which is not set up very well together with the faulty lawn mower was just to off putting !!
I ordered a lawn mower on the 22nd of November and upon receipt I noticed that a wheel was not attached and down one side clearly there are brackets missing to secure the wheels. Unable to call or make a simple return I am dealing with a AI managed contact form where they are asking me for in appropriate information rather then just dealing with my request for a machine that is faulty .Despite sending various information that should I not have to I am now asking for a refund under my rights !! For anyone else please avoid these charlatans of a company who treat their customers terribly with a simple request sending out orders with missing parts !! Unless I have a returns plan confirmed today I will be making bank recharge request with my credit card I look forward to hearing back imminently!!

Over a month with no delivery. No ability to directly contact. I’ve opened 4 cases and no response. They’ve taken my money and I have no goods and no way to resolve. Don’t use.

I purchased my lawn mower in November 2022 and the height adjustment mechanism broke in August 2025. Fortunately, Greenworks offers a 3 year warranty with this product and, following correspondence, they sent me a replacement lawn mower. It arrived a couple of days after agreeing my claim.
The Customer service I experienced was excellent. Very impressed!

Do not touch this company. There is no communication and no way of contacting them.
They are refusing to contact us on a refund.
They have £199.99 of my 90 year old father’s money for goods which they felt were suitable to send out. The box was damaged the batteries don’t charge and was totally unfit for use.
After several emails to them, as no telephone numbers are available all we have received is an automatic return emails and nothing else.
This has been going on for 4 weeks now. Totally unacceptable.

Contacted them through their website and given a generic response saying they’re busy (not surprised being how useless their products are) have since been ignored. Contacted them through their Facebook as well, and again ignored. Now have an unusable £200 waste of space and a company that doesn’t respond to their customers. Totally disgrace of a company and avoid like the plague on steroids. Worst decision ever to use this company
40 volt strimmer / brush cutter just stopped working, not batteries as they still charge, the tool is just dead no power indicated even with a fully charged battery.
Although they work well, build quality is poor and customer service dreadful, the actual tools are very heavy as well.
Does one bite the bullet and buy another tool as still have batteries or cut your loses and go for something better built / better quality. It’s the latter.
I must have bucked the trend on this company was looking for a new cordless hedge trimmer my old Spear & Jackson died after 2 years Greenlight got decent reviews on Amazon but had a look on their own website got a 56cm & plumped for the 24v & the 4ah battery & charger combined on a deal for around £100 delivered by DPD in 2 days just had it's first proper test cut my Laurel hedge Firethorn Rosemary Bay & a few other small bushes all in one charge - around an hours work - cut easily through some quite chunky branches as well with relative ease i use this around 3-4 times a year for around an hour so didn't want to spend £200+ on DeWalt etc so for me this is the perfect kit very robust but not too heavy to use a,swivel handle as well which is very useful & for a decent price
Faulty Item. Battery charger arrived with 2 flat pin plug - useless for UK. Bought an adaptor to UK 3pin 13 amp plug. Still didn't work. Bought a second adaptor with the highest compatibility spec. Item still would not connect.
Requested advice but received no response.
Arranging return a horrendous nightmare.
Amazon insisted item had to be dropped off at a UPS depot. Nearest is 30 miles away - i.e. a 60 mile round trip.
Wanted to discuss this with a human but was bundled from one robot to the next to get no solution.
Finally got through to an Asian sounding lady human. She was helpful and despite being difficult to understand and frequently having to wait "on hold" with music, she arranged for collection of the item tomorrow. Why could this have not happened via the automated systems?
Took a lot of time - and stress - to get this basic return action organised.
I would have preferred a replacement rather than a refund but this didn't seem to be an option.
With a full range of 80v tools I clearly need the correct charger. Looks like I will have to purchase elsewhere. But where? 80v pieces of kit are no longer serviced in the UK, it seems. Maybe Greenworks might read this and have the grace to respond.
I wondered if there was voltage incompatibility but the Amazon sales page says the following .... " Compatible with all Greenworks Pro 80v batteries" so different voltage protocols shouldn't be an issue
Faulty goods and unacceptable, disinterested level of service - unimpressed. Hardly worth even one star although the Asian sounding lady did manage a solution in the end for which I was grateful but it took a lot of time and exasperation to get to that stage.
Brand new battery lawnmower lasted 3 weeks and 2 grass cuts. unable to contact Greenwork by phone 4 weeks later still no response disgraceful company. avoid in the UK
This is a review on the quality of Greenworks commercial tools, first my Greenworks 82v chainsaw which broke ( drive/gears unusable) before I managed to get even 10 hours of use out of it, then my Greenworks 82v commercial lawnmower which did manage one season then also broke (motor and electronics) unusable, next up my Greenworks 60v pressure washer which was a great idea and product until the motor stopped working within the first 12 months, then my Greenworks 82v battery backpack, cost several hundred pounds and did not manage I would say 100 charges before it gave up and wont charge any more, next up my greenworks 82v 2ah hour battery now only charges around 50% and is low on power, I would say its been charged 200ish times, its a shame because all seemed fairly well made but none of it currently still works and is basically landfill crap, made in China and consuming the worlds precious resources, apart for the Powerworks 82v strimmer still actually running as yet, buy proper brand cordless tools such as Milwaukee and stihll which I have used for almost 20 yrs and 1000's charges and still working .

I've not received my order yet (so I cannot comment on quality) - but the customer service is unbelievably bad.
They list a contact number on their website that links to a company that claim they have nothing to do with them.
The "cancel order" buttons on their website don't work. (I want to cancel order UK11076 for anyone there reading this?!)

I would strongly suggest that you have nothing to do with this company, it's truly appalling. The contact details they give (both here on Trustpilot and on their website) are to another company that say they have nothing to do with them. I placed an order with Greenworks and cancelled it when the delivery was not fulfilled in the promised window (I had since become worried they were not a genuine company when I made attempts to contact them). They eventually confirmed cancellation via a request made on their (very bad) online form but then did not refund but instead attempted delivery, which we refused. They then ignored all my subsequent attempts to contact them and have still not made a refund atow. I have now requested a chargeback from my credit card company. If you have a warranty I would be extremely concerned that it might not be honoured as this company (Globe tech?! or certainly these resellers) are so dubious. I have never had such a bad buying experience online.

No clear refund policy, I couldn't get the refund even after filled the online form.
Placed order of £462, now I don't know how to recover
Ordered a battery for my lawnmower because it stated about 3 days delivery. 25 days later and nothing! Got a reply to say high demand so wait until 10 working days and now not even getting replies! Will have to see if my bank can get a refund for me because no one is responding. I had to order another battery from Amazon this time and received it the next day

Customer service is an utter joke.
I received a mower without batteries, even though I ordered it with them.
There’s no call service, as others have mentioned too, so I emailed them. A week later, I got a reply with some nonsense about how they usually dispatch batteries separately and that I have to wait up to 12 business days for them to arrive! None of that is mentioned on the website, didn’t give any tracking number, nothing…
So now I have a brush cutter and a mower that are completely useless, a nicely growing knee-high lawn, and lovely brambles all over my garden…
Product quality is very poor. They take 3+ weeks to reply to each email and will say absolutely anything to weasel out of the warranty.
Terrible costumer service don't bother ringing the number for returns you will get send to fill out another document. Really really poor stuff. Still waiting for my refund as they have received the unopened product back and I'm still out of pocket.
I placed an order for a Greenworks Lawnmower via the Greenworks tools uk website. It has just arrived.
On opening the box I discover that it is not a brand new lawnmower but an Amazon Return. The box is full of grass cuttings. The lawnmower is well used with grass all over the blade and the grass collection unit. The lead is in a freezer bag with a hand written note saying it is the lead. Unable to speak to anyone at Greenworks via the customer service number so had to email.
I can't believe that I have ordered a brand new lawnmower direct from Greenworks and ended up with an Amazon well used lawnmower.
Appalling that there is no one to contact. I wish I could attach the photographs.
