I’m the founder and owner of Sisterhood Supplements, a women’s health brand focused on science-backed, natural support for perimenopause. The brand is very personal to me, and I’m hands-on in every area from product formulation and compliance to branding, messaging, and long-term growth strategy.

We did a custom shopify website with Arctic Grey many years ago. To be fair we tried to combine a general store front with an on line store and that didn't work. Then Arctic Grey did a custom site that cost us a small fortune and when we went back to see if they could do the marketing of it - they stopped the marketing piece of their business. Anthony Spallone spent a tremendous amount of time on calls with us (I will admit I am absolutely ignorant to on line selling) but the people overseas didn't follow directions, there were mistakes after mistakes, we had one girl in house working with them - but the errors were overwhelming. We have now gone to the 2.0 version - of shopify - very simple very easy - no great expenditure - we are getting sales from it and are going to do the marketing against it - it isn't brain surgery like the 5 figure cost of the other website. Look Anthony tried but getting india to do what they needed to do just didn't work and getting our office to completely understand while running a brick and mortar wasn't easy as well.

After working with and meeting several different developers over the years, we knew we found a team that understood the complexity of what we were trying to build. I can’t thank Brooke enough for her hard work and patience with us—she is amazing. After a horrendous onboarding experience with Netsuite, we honestly didn’t believe a smooth onboarding was even possible. From Anthony to the team actually handling our work, it has been a really good project. It wasn’t easy, and I would have hated to try this on our own, that’s for sure.


We did face some challenges on our side, with other projects going on and some staff changes, which caused us to drag our heels at times. That ended up being more of a pain point for Arctic Grey than for us, but it was frustrating for everyone involved. We also ran into a billing issue that was a little complicated—I think the buying experience could be clearer, although in our case PayPal was probably most of the issue.


Looking ahead, I’d love to keep partnering with Arctic Grey long-term, maybe even in a consulting role, to ensure we’re always doing things well and right. Knowing we have a partner who understands our business and is there to help us be better is huge. On top of that, my colleagues only have wonderful things to say about Brooke—she’s truly top notch.


At the moment, I don’t have specific suggestions for improvements or additional services, though I suspect there are areas we don’t know about yet where Arctic Grey could continue to guide us. Overall, I’m extremely grateful for their support, expertise, and partnership.

We are an online wild-caught sockeye salmon business (shipping and local pickups). My role is as the e-commerce manager for both of our sales channels. We have been working with Arctic Grey for years. This last project was to build a cart drawer for our website. The cart drawer was just put onto our website, but so far, there have been no issues. We are hoping it will help with our conversion rates. Giana was fantastic. She always knew the answers to my questions, was incredibly prepared, and everything went very smoothly. Our website had been neglected for a while, so we were in need of a pretty drastic overhaul of the experience, our Shopify apps stack, and our data management. Our company has a legacy website that lacks many features of a modern ecommerce site. We decided to create a new domain for our most important product line to be hosted on Shopify. This is intended to be a prelude to transitioning our entire legacy website to Shopify.
