Hello!!! Vague SDOL spoilers below, but it’s set pre-canon so it’s just characters and a few of their abilities.
I know in my heart guizo was the first to do those 'I FOUND A HAUNTED ROOM in my BASEMENT?' clickbait titles with red circles around to like a shadow and a thousand red arrows except he was being completely genuine
Um... SDOL fic! pre-canon, spoilers for what characters exist, their basic skills, and kinda who likes who more, but no plot spoilers. For now I'm saying this is my catchup for day 1 "blood", however I reserve the right to change that later. I can do better with blood.

Please, take some spoiler-free hurt/comfort flavoured speedwritten angst set like 2 years pre-canon. That one post going around about shooting a character in a dark alleyway and them stumbling to help with a trail of blood behind them. Somewhat obviously, CW for blood and major injury.
It is agony. Pain spikes through Guizo's leg as he stumbles along, keeping it as still as possible. Where are the big blood vessels? He does not remember. Somewhere in the thigh, and the shot was just above his knee, but he doesn't want-

I think Guizo and Xande should get to stumble their way through developing an allo4aroace queerplatonic relationship. and Guizo is genderfluid. and the horrors are still happening
my vision:
Guizo is pretty content where he is but he does get weirdly jealous/upset over random things (eg from canon: refuses to do his and xande’s handshake with people other than xande + gets upset when xande does their handshake with other people)
Xande is like… the classic “it’s not that I’m attracted to Guizo I just know he’s hot because I have eyes” “I would totally date Guizo if he was a girl” “i can’t be gay because I’m clearly into women”. and then through a series of events all of this unravels in front of him and he has a slow building sexuality crisis
tangential to this but also effecting the situation is Dara putting Guizo in situations to see if he’s gay so she can come out to him as a lesbian
SDOL fic again, Guizo's PoV on the Xande one (and a little bit before). Blood, panic, serious injuries, all that. Full (but less checked) work under cut, the spoilers are minimal

hi echo \o/ I am thinking about Dara and Guizo friendship I am thinking about Guizo being honest with Dara and Dara trusting Guizo to be honest with her… like the moment where he brushes her off in front of the others when she asks if he needs healing but then when she asks via the mindlink he basically says everything hurts… and then in the last episode when Lírio is telling Dara that Xande’s okay and he’ll be coming soon she just looks over to Guizo for confirmation and he shakes his head…
such a fun dynamic to me!! also unrelated but I like it: shoutout to Dara for jumpscaring Guizo via the mindlink right as he’s about to try and sneak into somewhere dangerous pfft
hi wsd!!! THEY’RE SO IMPORTANT. they trust each other so much. I appreciate them a lot. I also really like the bit in episode 4 after they fight off the alien inside the petrol station where Xande pushes Guizo to check on Dara instead of doing it himself because he thinks she’ll be more receptive to him, and she tells him about being Chosen. they’re important to me…
and for more on the silly side: yeah <3 what also comes to mind for me is that bit in SDOL 2 where he’s disguised and pretending to be her dad and calls her Darinha and she goes “never do that again!” “it’s just for now-” “after this. never again!” “never again? :(” “never again.” they’re so sillies
you ever get assigned something as a project in school and for the rest of your life you have a strange attachment to the subject. in like seventh grade i had an assignment to make a poster about the elemental propoerties of osmium and to this day everytime someone mentions it im like 'YEAAAAAAH OSMIUM MENTIONED!!!!!!!!'
its important to have a game on your wishlist that keeps going on sale every couple of months and you still never buy it

saddest thing when writing ordem fic is when i KNOW a character would be using a certain way to phrase things but i can’t translate that into english without it being clunky. so it has to just stay in my mind and a lesser translation will have to do
