A novel, indeed. Lengthy enough to keep you satisfied for a good long while, full of tricks and feels, a driven plot, and some good ol’ smut. Keeps Jack and James’ character canon while still allowing them to develop, compelling imagery–I do believe I’ve fallen in love with sailing, despite having never been at sea in my life–typical Sparrow Shenanigans, and OC’s you’ll fall in love with. The authors balance everything out really well. And did I mention the wonderful artwork? In nearly ever chapter?

I can’t belive I didn’t read this sooner! It’s on every rec list, but I never got past the first chapter (spoiler: there’s a TON of smut in this fic), but this time I wanted to see what the hype was about. I’m so glad I did! You will fall in love with the OCs; the plot is full of twists and action; and the research obviously put into this is incredible. The romance and relationships between characters are incredible. It’s a fave for a reason!
