When I came across this series, it was recommended that I read the fic without looking at what the AU was. It’s makes for a much better read that way. Advice aside, it’s an original AU with a compelling and romantic plot, super interesting characterization and OCs.

The summary does not do it justice. Not only is this the longest Mystrade fic I’ve read, it’s also one of the best. Lestrade’s OC family is simply incredible, and the nieces are just the best. Anthea’s part in here is so well developed, and the progress of Mycroft and Greg’s relationship is believable. In short, this fic is beautiful. Definitely a love story. A Romance.

This is a well written teenlock fic with just the right balance of fluff, mystery, and angst. On the top of my teenlock fic list. Not that I have one.
