The platform is clear and does everything you need, but what makes this company 5 stars is the people, hands down.

I had a profitable year and needed to set up payroll for a small business. I went to Patriot after I had very bad experiences with other platforms: Quickbooks (too big, confusing platform, overseas help not helpful, misapplied payments, red tape, etc.), Gusto (not as bad as quickbooks, but the red tape is real and no one is able to actually resolve platform problems, would not release my data when I left, wasted several hours with help only to lean they cannot help), and OnPay (limited platform).

I highly recomment Patriot.

The Chat feature on customer service almost always resolves any questions I have within minutes. The couple of times I have called to talk to a person on the phone have been impressive.

This company is one of best I've ever worked with. Customer service is extremely responsive and knowledgeable. I have extremely few problems with the software, but when I do it's user error and they are able to figure it out and walk me through it. Would recommend them 100%.
