The idea that he sees you primarily as something to train and take care of. Hand feeding you, petting your hair when you’ve done a Good Job, making you rest your head on his lap. Physically directing you wherever he wants you to go. Making sure you get your walk for the day. Conditioning you so that you look up at him with big shiny eyes because you need him to think for you, because you trust him to do what’s best for you. Many such thoughts.
