the category of “woman” has since its inception been bound up in fundamentally racial, cissexual, and class terms. “Woman” has never once been a category that all women belonged to, not because they aren’t “actually” women but because gender is a structure that mediates access to personhood, and being granted personhood has historically been a privilege reserved for the very few (white, bourgeois, cis-heterosexual, perisex, etc). JKR is not being a hypocrite by saying, on the one hand, that she wants to “protect women,” and then on the other attacks women of colour, trans women, intersex women, and so on. she is participating in the centuries-old Western tradition of policing the boundaries of gender and thus who gets counted as human. expressing incredulity at this supposed hypocrisy is just revealing that you have not engaged with even introductory level writing on the subject, which is why the charge of hypocrisy is not only unhelpful but actively obfuscates the oppressive structure of gender

so it’s still technically unconfirmed that this is actually weed butter so im doing a science experiment - i made crepes with it and ate 6

good news is it’s actually just CBD oil which means im not getting high but i am INCREDIBLY relaxed

update: turns out the the body oil was made with weed and had some THC in it too!!!!!!!!!!! shout out to y'all that doubted me all “how could u not tell” haha bitch i smelled it, body oil or no!!
While I appreciate artists who are diligent about tagging their work for every random kink or fetish it might appeal to, I can’t help but feel that sticking the “#small penis” tag on a character with a seven-inch dick is making some very specific assumptions about one’s target audience.
You may be right but it’s worth saying that there are a huge number of people who legitimately believe that the average human penis length is eight or nine inches. Many of them cannot be convinced otherwise.
For the record, the values change a little bit depending on the study but the average human adult male erect penis is around five and a half inches long, with a standard deviation of around 0.7 inches.
And according to multiple studies I’ve seen, race has little effect on these numbers.
A similar principle to seeing a bunch of folks banging on about how some celebrity or influencer or whatever is a “short king”, and then you look them up and it turns out they’re five foot eleven, I suppose.
