New Home Insurance

On Monday morning , I called Allianze for a quote for our home insurance,
Daniel Alemany was my first contact based at Allianz Seguros-Agent Jose Vicente Alemany Ardid .
This gentleman spoke to me in perfect English.
He was very friendly, knowledgeable explaining everything in great detail.
Danny has so much respect and patience I was so anxious to find a good Insurance company due to our last one being so unhelpful and difficult to contact.
Danny gave me so much information and different prices.
He did not push me to take the most expensive.
Three days later I am happy to say we now have a new insurance company .
Danny thank you for your honesty, patience and kindness.
Need insurance look no further.
Highly appreciated and recommend.
You have no idea what a relief it is to have found such a professional person.

Payment issues at online travel insurance

This is about the online travel insurance, not other ones (other ones were fine so far with Allianz). I tried to make travel insurance for family member living in Spain. Was the second time we did it. However, it was impossible to pay online with my credit card - trying with two different ones. This is simply unfriendly - after filling in all data etc. not being able to pay with a credit card that works everywhere else. Funny too that we had used the same Allianz travel insurance without issues for payment - but this time no more. Better use other ones, same price, and no issues with payments (Mapfre for instance had the same problem in the past, but no more)

I'm an honest 81-year-old citizen who'd…

I'm an honest 81-year-old citizen who'd never needed home insurance. I bought a house in Spain.
My gestor recommended ALLIANZ. I took out home insurance with them for €493.99 per year.

In the first week of August 2023, a leak developed in my garage, but Allianz didn't answer the phone. Finally, a week later, Allianz came to take a look and the garage floor was torn up in three places. I was given two years to decide whether to have the entire floor re-laid.

They then repaired the leak, but their work was so poor that the leak returned a year later in the same spot, in the second week of August 2024.

We had a hard time reaching Allianz again. But this time, ALLIANZ couldn't find my policy. I found that strange.

The floor was torn up again. A new water pipe was installed.
Allianz refused to pay for this. The floor was supposed to be re-laid before December. Unfortunately, Allianz backed out here too. In May 2025, I had this done at my own expense.

That was just the beginning of a long and exhausting nightmare. While we were discussing coverage for the second leak, another major leak developed in a different pipe, between the house and the pool. Water was disappearing undetected into the ground there. Only the water bill indicated a significant water loss. A certified plumber disconnected the pipe at the main shutoff valve on the street to prevent worse. Allianz sent someone to take a look and found a disconnected water pipe. They even accused me of sabotage. Accusing me, an 81-year-old woman, of sabotage?

Allianz refused to cover the cost of this repair, a desperately needed repair, as thousands of liters of water were disappearing underground every day, threatening the stability of the pool and the house. The patio between the pool and the house would have to be dug up to find this leak. That hasn't happened yet! So now my pool can no longer be filled through this pipe.

In short, I lost thousands of euros. Allianz didn't pay me a cent for my alleged "sabotage."

That's a disgrace, and I never want anything to do with this company again.

Worst insurance ever

Worst insurance ever! Their insured car hit my car over 8 months ago and the guy Roberto Martinez did everything he had to do but the insurance just doesn’t want to pay for the damage while it’s just over 500 euros so not even that much. They already let me go to the garage twice for pictures and everything but after that they don’t respond to anything anymore while my insurance almost weekly sent them notifications about this.
I even contacted them myself but their workers are super unprofessional as well and they don’t care. Now I am going over to juridical steps against this fraud of an insurance.

Unreliable, don't recommend them

Worst insurance I dealt with, and I work with insurances. Their insured hit my parked car 4 months ago, there's a police report and everything. Lot of damage... They are ignoring it, they don't reply to my insurance, nor the lawyer, in the many attempts to get a reply... now my insurance has to take it to the judicial system, use unecessary resources, to wait on something that is black and white, literally.
You should be ashamed!

Allianz are the worst car insurance…

Allianz are the worst car insurance brokers , we had an accident in june and are still waiting for the insurance company to fix the car as they are trying to get out of paying. they have increased premiums every year and now are proving to be useless . please do not choose them otherwise you will regret it.

Useless

I reported a flood in my sons room and they told me an assessor would ring within 72 hours to make an appointment. I reiterated that it was urgent as my sonnet bed had been ruined and he was now having to sleep in the lounge. It had taken me 4 phone calls to get that far, being put through from an initial helpful assistant. 72 hours after no one calling, I rang and was told that no one had been booked as I hadn't requested an assessor. All this time, my son has been sleeping in the lounge while his bedroom is covered in mould after the flood. I complained to the latest Allianz representative and asked her who I need to speak to to make a complaint. She replied you can make a complaint but since there is no one there that can speak English it is not worth it

Allianz.es is without doubt the worst…

Allianz.es is without doubt the worst insurance company that I have ever made contact with. On August the 13th a vehicle insured by Allianz hit the side of our house. A claim with photos of the damage was sent to them. After numerous emails and phone call a representative called on the 11th of October and informed us that he would send someone in two days the repair the damage, no one ever appeared. On the 29th and 30th of October I emailed directors Celso.fernandez, Veit.Stutz, Teresa.Archaga, Mariateresa.Archaga and not one of them had the manners to respond. It is now the 5th of November and I am still waiting for some response from anyone.
6th of November received an email after phoning them again. They stated in the email that they do not arrange repairs and offer compensation stating that it would be in my account the following day. After waiting since 13th September I decided to accept the compensation. It’s now the 11th of November and I still have not received any compensation.
I will leave you to make your own mind up if you would ever deal with this company.

Geen respect

Beste lezer, open nooit een rekening bij BBVA. Altijd respectloos.... Kunnen Engels spreken maar weigeren!!! Ook de communicatie via mail. .. Alleen Spaans. Praten via de telefoon.. spAANS. Vragen of ze langzaam willen spreken. ..no entiendo. En gaan dan op zelfde tempo door..
Zelfs mijn nieuwe autoverzekering bij DKV was verbaasd over hun gedrag.

Ze verkopen ook verzekeringen maar verdienen er heel heel veel geld mee
Mijn verzekering was 55 euro (alleen andere schade vergoed,) per maand en nu 28 euro allrisk!!!!

U bent gewaarschuwd.
Natuurlijk... Als je Spaans spreekt, zijn ze vriendelijker!

Dear reader, never open an account with BBVA. Always disrespectful.... Can speak English but refuse!!! Also the communication via email. .. Only Spanish. Talking on the phone.. SPANISH. Asking them to speak slowly. ..no entiendo. And then continue at the same pace..
Even my new car insurance with DKV was surprised by their behavior.

They also sell insurance but make a lot of money with it

Querido lector, nunca abras una cuenta en BBVA. Siempre irrespetuoso... ¡¡¡Sabes hablar inglés pero te niegas!!! También comunicación vía correo electrónico. ..Solo español. Hablando por teléfono.. ESPAÑOL. Pídales que hablen lentamente. ..no entiendo. Y luego seguir al mismo ritmo...
Incluso mi nueva compañía de seguros de coche, DKV, quedó sorprendida por su comportamiento.

También venden seguros, pero ganan mucho dinero con ello.
Mi seguro era de 55 euros (solo se reembolsan otros daños) al mes y ahora 28 euros a todo riesgo!!!!

Has sido advertido.
Por supuesto... Si hablas español serán más amables.

Never again

I bought travel insurance for a flight. All five of my family's suitcases were delayed 5 days. I had to buy clothes and basic essentials. I kept tickets and everything. The policy (which was more than 200 euros) said they could pay up to 200 euros. I filed the claim and all I got in response was an unintelligible pdf document where the only line I could understand is: Payment: 0 euros. I filed a complaint, and two months and more than 20 emails and calls later, I have decided to give up

If you want to have a lot of stress…

If you want to have a lot of stress about your insurance go to Allianz! On July 22 I got an offer for insurance for a mobile home. I was happy to accept it straight away but now - 1 month later - I still don't have the policy and my property is not insured. With all the risks involved. For me it was not a matter of money, I just wanted to rely on a good insurance. Apparently that's not possible with Allianz!

I paid for an insurance contract from…

I paid for an insurance contract from Allianz Spain in Barcelona for my moto 500-600 euros. The moto was stolen, and I've sent a police document to cancel the contract, but they still charged me for next year...
There was no refund, so they just stole my money.

Stay away at any cost ;)

My sister had a suden sickness…

My sister had a suden sickness in her travel to Europe, she was not in condition to speak with her insurance or do anything; so my brother and I took care of everything. Allianz was always supportive, they respected the contrac and took care everything. I totally recoment this insurance.

they are just criminals, ignoring the police protocol that their client is guilty, play on time and misuse the law that you have to pay the lawyer yourself. the rest is o hide behind call centers, ignoring and not reacting

Unprofessional and Incompetent

My car got damaged by a client of Allianz Spain. Allianz has no idea how to handle a 98-euro claim. I received every day a letter that I had to send an invoice, or a Damage expert needed to come first. They played this game from 06-26 July. They refused to inform me, if I called their English customer service they told me that I was NOT ALLOWED to call them as I was not a client. I never received a reply from allianz.spainatallianz.es. Nobody speaks a word of English, they do not give information, or have any knowledge of their own claim handling. If you report a complaint at ddcatallianz.es you do not receive a confirmation, case number, or any reply for that matter. It is the most incompetent insurance company I have ever had to deal with, and not only 1 department but all departments: Allianz Caravaca de la Cruz, cts.autosesteatallianz.es, +34 932 277 599, and allianz.spainatallianz.es. Even FB Allianz España provided me with the wrong information and had an attitude when I told her that she was incorrect and could have caused me many problems. If your car gets damaged by a client of Allianz, you will be facing weeks of misery and for sure they do this in the hope you will drop this claim. Because I do not believe that an International Insurance company can be this unprofessional and incompetent. Unacceptable, shameful, and respectless behavior. I am the victim in this case I can not even imagine if you buy insurance from Allianz Spain and cause an accident/damage.

Extremely bad working environment

Extremely bad working environment. This company has no thought for the environment or their workers by forcing them to return to an office to perform work tasks that can be done even better from the comfort of their own home. Rather than look out for your health and care, Allianz prefers that you spend money traveling to work, waste your enormous valuable time commuting to work, contributing to climate change (which is a serious problem), risk that only your health but also your loved ones by forcing you to expose yourself to the Coronavirus that lives every where around us. Doesn't really sound like a great work environment or company now does it?. I could keep going, but I think this is enough to get the idea of what the company really thinks of it's employees. Allianz is not for me and off to another company who really respects and values you by proving 100% remote flexibility to come to the office when you please.

Ambiente de trabajo extremadamente malo. Esta empresa no piensa en el medio ambiente ni en sus trabajadores al obligarlos a regresar a una oficina para realizar tareas laborales que se pueden realizar aún mejor desde la comodidad de su propio hogar. En lugar de cuidar su salud y atención, Allianz prefiere que gaste dinero en viajar al trabajo, desperdicie su enorme y valioso tiempo viajando al trabajo, contribuya al cambio climático (que es un problema grave), arriesgue que solo su salud, pero también sus seres queridos unos al obligarlo a exponerse al coronavirus que vive en todas partes a nuestro alrededor. Realmente no suena como un gran ambiente de trabajo o empresa ahora, ¿verdad? Podría seguir, pero creo que esto es suficiente para tener una idea de lo que la empresa realmente piensa de sus empleados. Allianz no es para mí y se va a otra empresa que realmente lo respeta y valora al demostrar una flexibilidad 100% remota para venir a la oficina cuando lo desee.
