If you are a NON SPANISH speaker, stay away from this company. They have no english support and you need someone on the phone to do the translation for you. On the phone they read you all fine prints in spanish and you are not able to hear and understand all. you are going to end up having a wrong policy as i had.
Worst part is that by law in spain you are entitled to cancel your policy within 14 days and receive full refund, but i got an answer as they wont cancel my policy. They did not include any legal reason, simply told me i cannot cancel my policy.
i am still trying via phone line to reach someone but not able to understand any spanish and not able to use their phone support. There are better companies for foreigners in spain, stay away if you dont want to have a bad experience as i am having

Complaints to the company’s ombudsman brought no results. Very disappointed with their lack of responsibility and support for victims.

1st year it was true. I got the same price. Today I found they charged me 27% more. 63O eur instead 495.
When I called them they told me that is standard actualization of price. 27% increase is not standard nowhere. I din't cause any accident there was no reason to increase. They are just lairs.

This will officially initiate a complaint process, although it may be slow.
My personal recommendation: have a 700 mm x 300 mm banner printed with the message “LA MUTUA MADRILEÑA NO CUMPLE” and display it on both front doors. I’ve already ordered mine.
Zero customer support
Spent an entire morning trying to talk with an operator and did not manage that. Their AI facility (chatbox, phone assistant) is useless and a complete waste of time. It was not like this before, what a disappointment

They increased the price on the renewal by 20% without notifying me and I am finding it impossible to cancel.
They ignore all requests by phone, E-mail and do not respond.
Now they harass me several times a day for payment.
They are a rogue and predatory company.

I got my first car insurance with windshields protection, but when reported windshield broken the process did not advance during 5months. Now trying to terminate policy due to relocation, but no feedback even though car is already unregistered in Spain.

The company Mutua which I took one year full coverage prime 200€ with expiration on next Dic 2024, because I had a windscreen failure in the A3 highway due hit of a small peeble in my VolkswagenT-Roc, has finished the contract due the excesive cost of reparation (change) of windscreen !!!!!!

They don't care
The company just takes your money.. we have a house insurance and it's basically a waste of money. If something breaks that is covered they don't even bother sending someone to check it out. We called 6 times this week and we still don't have a resolution. Complete waste of time and money. The pipes are still leaking and this will cost us a fortune in the end. Avoid this company at all costs!
They keep all the money paid for year when you cancel
I sold the car and will not buy another. I cancelled the insurance (they made that next to impossible) but then they do not return the almost 300 EUR for the time left on the policy that I will never use. It seems the law is on their side. What sort of ridiculous backward country is Spain that it allows this? They said they will keep my money for 5 years in case I want to return. This is theft. In 5 years hopefully they will have gone bankrupt except they probably won't because Spanish people submissively accept this. I doubt they will ever return my money, which they should return, plus interest.

Vendí el coche y no compraré otro. Cancelé el seguro (lo hicieron casi imposible) pero luego no me devuelven los casi 300 EUR del tiempo que me queda de póliza y que nunca usaré. Parece que la ley está de su lado. ¿Qué clase de país ridículo y atrasado es España que permite esto? Dijeron que guardarán mi dinero durante 5 años en caso de que quiera regresar. Esto es un robo. Es de esperar que en 5 años hayan quebrado, aunque probablemente no será así porque los españoles lo aceptan sumisamente. Dudo que jamás me devuelvan el dinero, que deberían devolverme más los intereses.
Impossible to cancel
No reductions from one year to the next. Can't talk to a human. They claim they don't have my details but somehow managed to send me a renewal notice. Literally can't find out how to cancel my insurance with them. Awful.

I have now come to the conclusion that I am one of the thousands of people scammed by Mutua Madrileña. They never reply to emails never they may put a comment on this site asking you to contact them and they can’t wait to hear from you to resolve problems with all there unpaid claims. They say phone us on 95555555 don’t bother yourself unless your Spanish. I have been informed, with there new excuse this is the best yet. Bear in mind this guy I managed to get through to spoke perfect English. He said . No one in Mutua Madrileña speaks English in Th he claims department, asked then, could you translate a message for me, he replied. I can’t because it is the claims department. No one can help you. 😂😂 this guy spoke better English than me but yet no one speaks English 🐂💩. I want my claim sorted out, you are trying to scam me out of. Don’t tell people to call you, you call them, I have received one email from them saying they rejected my claim on an hearsay statement with out any actual evidence to back there rejection, with an incorrect registration number totally different from the correct one, even though I provided them with a cover note from Mutua with the correct number on. If your from a different country other than Spain, be prepared to be ignored, lied to, have unbelievably excuses made to you. This is honestly an absolute joke dealing with Mutua Madrileña is you do manage to get a response it would be a negative response. And inform your solicitor to read the comments on trust pilot so they are aware of the reputation of this company and what they try get away with.

Bad experience from the start
Had the first 2 calls from thier CS team after I filled in all my info for a quote for my car insurance. The first lady hang up after 10 min questionare ,without saying anything and being rude all the time. And the 2nd one was better, but I was trying to improve my current cost of insurance, and the Quote give was almost duble 587E *todo riesco per year for Dacia Sandero from 2019 , no accident history of anything like that.
If the CS team does not have time and patience to talk with you when they try to sell you thier product , imagine how I will be rushed when I will have a problem ...

I was shocked when I saw the scores for this company on Trustpilot, if not surprised. I too, am a victim of these scammers. Two and a half years they fleeced me, full of promises but zero results. The last incident they had 5 (five) different opportunities to help, but nobody did. Instead they fleeced me for more money. Absolutely sickening. And then they come bleating that I'm a good customer (well, clearly) and we're a big family (so is the mafia...) and we don't want to lose you. Well, if they were the only one insurance company left, I would sell my car and walk everywhere. Don't fall for it. Avoid at all costs
