Misleading delivery times.

Oh, I fell for it….

Ordered a comparatively high value item - price was competitive (about 25% less than most other retailers) on the basis of a 7 day delivery timescale (it actually quoted 5-7 days).

Ordered. Paid. Confirmed.

Time ticked by…one day, two days…delivery time still within 7 days.

Day three….? Delivery window now 21 days estimate.

I would NEVER have ordered from them with that window. I’d have paid more to receive the item on time!

It’s so frustrating. Just be honest and we’ll all know what we are dealing with. It’s like a trap.

Will I actually receive the item at all??? People seem to…but weeks or months after ordering.

Manage expectations about delivery date

The product was ordered on January 16th, with a latest delivery date of January 29th. The purchase decision was made based on that timeline, allowing for a possible delivery within the first couple of days of February. However, the product was ultimately delivered on February 7th.

The main issue was not only the delay, but the response from customer service. When contacted, their replies were generic and simply restated the obvious, without providing any clear or meaningful explanation for the delay.

I would recommend being transparent about realistic delivery dates and offering more thoughtful, respectful responses when addressing customer inquiries.

Received an empty box! Still no refund or replacement.

I placed an order for a number of components on 09/01/2026. When the shipment arrived, the external parcel was intact and most components were present. The final box, which should have contained SRAM Red shifters and breakes and a Karoo head unit had its security seals broken and all parts missing from inside. The parts had clearly been stolen before packing into the main box. I reported this immediately to BikeInn. Theyr customer service has been terrible. It is now one month later and no resolution has been offered. I am left £1150 down with no parts and unable to build my bike. They still say they are looking into it one month later. There is no phone numner. The website chat is an AI bot, and ther email responses are breif and unhelpful. Do NOT use this compny

Cancelled part of my order without…

Cancelled part of my order without notification. In the part of the order that was delivered (late), one product is not as described. The item does not offer the functionality the description on their site gives, which is clear from the manufacturers description.

Upon notifying customer service, no solution is offered, meaning I will need to incur additional costs in shipping fees and additional products to make up for the missing part of the order and item that does not do what it is supposed to (according to site description).

Recommend BikeInn to give the option to cancel the order if part of the order is not available, as it’s causing the customer to have to pay additional fees, a breach of EU consumer protection regulations.

No solution offered that solves my issue, just to return the product.

Wrongly described items, excessive returns cost

I ordered some Altura Overshoes which I know go up to size XXL but the only biggest size option on Bikeinn was size 45 -47 which I ordered. They sent me size XL which were too small and had to be returned. They charged me the return postage of £11.99 which was excessive. ( in the past for returning similarly sized and weighted items has only cost me about £3.50)

After trying to explain this to them they basically just fobbed me off saying you can return them but at your own cost of £12!! Thats half of what the order is worth so whats the point. Incorrect stock information and expected deliver dates

I've ordered Evoc Pro bike travel bag for my upcoming vacation - I ordered from bikeinn because they showed that they have item and promising fast delivery. I ordered on Jan 26th, and they showed delivery date between feb 4 and 6.
Today is already feb 8 (already way passed delivery date), and they still even didn't send the item - showing in order status that they don't have it! But on eshop still selling as available.

If I would knew, that they don't have item in the stock, I would have ordered from different place.

Appalling customer service, wrong items dispatched

I ordered a new set of handlebars, the pair I received were 4cm to narrow, the incorrect ones were dispatched. EXTREMELY difficult to contact them, I was eventually told I did not chose a size so they sent the smallest size, you have to chose to place the order! Their solution I pay to return them to remedy their mistake then order a new pair and pray the correct ones appear. They may be cheap but unreliable and APPALLING customer service.
