Awful service

Around 8 e-mails, a phone call and two 'unsuccessful' deliveries until now and I still didn't get my package, even though I was home both times and available under my phone number.
The first time they didn't even bother to call the door, the second time they just clicked it once and left straight away, clearly unaware of how intercom works and that we let them inside the building through it. Or that, if they don't feel like coming in, it might take someone more than 10sec to run towards the front door - because by then, they were gone.
Clearly, someone is just cutting corners doing their job and gives zero f's about it.

made my day

Called them this morning and a lady by the name Natalie picked up. Her bubbly, happy personality and her joyful laugh made my day from the early hours, even though the only thing I needed to do is to book a new delivery. Thank you Natalie, for who you are! You are so lucky DHL - to have such a wonderful lady representing you. =)

Worst ever delivery company

I’m waiting for an important delivery and trucking number shows delivery was unsuccessful… This happens each time. Drivers neglecting addresses if the address is not in a big town. They can just say “ah it’s too far - let’s just mark it unsuccessful.”
I pay for delivery just as anyone else does but this is so embarrassing that drivers can discriminate based on your location. Feels like you are less valuable if you live on the countryside.
And customer service is also neglecting you. They don’t even say “sorry”…

Poor customer experience.

They changed the delivery from Friday till Monday.
I received no announcement (SMS or Email) about this change.
I arranged my stuff around that delivery so I am at home, and I am quite dissapointed with their service.
I called their hotline and they said "it did not fit the car today", which sounds like a joke, as it has been sitting in Gävle ten days and they had not been able to manage your capacity since then? Amateurs!

Then on today, the day of delivery I received a confirmation that between 12:00-15:00 the package will be delivered by DHL. And that the courier will call 15-30 minutes in advance. And that he will need legitimation.
Suprise surprise, at 10 o'clock, a non-DHL branded courier ringed the door with the package. He wanted no legitimation.

I am filing a complaint and want the expensive postage for poor service back. Sorry but this is poor service...

It's incredibly frustrating

It's incredibly frustrating! I provided the domestic tracking number, but they dismissed it, claiming the package couldn't be tracked though it was at the terminal. After countless calls and messages, they finally admitted they wouldn't be able to handle it until next week. It's clear they didn't make a genuine effort to manage the packages efficiently!

I don't want to handle everything through customer support

You can not change delivery point when it is getting returned, then you have to wait long queue for chat or phone call to reach someone to actually change delivery point, then request gets ignored and finally package getting returned. And then DHL can not do anything regarding it. And I can not change delivery point myself. What a convenience

THIS COMPANY IS CRIMINAL

Around 4 month ago, DHL Freight Sweden lost a big box filled with expensive tools, handcrafted art, oil paint and much more. In this process of getting my compensation, i have spend endless hours aguing the simple truth; that they lost my goods, and they will have to pay the full amount. They have been sending me around like a pinball to try and confuse me or make me lose interest. The total estimated value of my goods adds up to around 19.000 SEK, and they wont even pay me the vague ammount of 5000 SEK including the price of the shipment itself. 5000 SEK is NOTHING TO DHL!!! NOTHING.

DONT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH DHL

No delivery notification

No delivery notification, misleading tracking information.
The parcel was late. When it finally delivered to service point, no notification was sent.
They have different IDs in sender and recipient countries.
This means in the tracking system you get different status depending on tracking ID. One status was "at sorting terminal", another "ready to pick up", but in wrong town. No status update for 10 days. No SMS notification as was expected. Called customer service, they said it was ready at the pick up point.

DHL is like a large bad working state…

DHL is like a large bad working state administration. When calling customer service, you talk to someone that has no information and who needs to talk to someone else inside DHL But you as a customer are not allowed to talk to the person who has some knowledge about your delivery. Which leaves you in limbo, with no solid information at all.
This experience is typical for DHL.
If you can, avoid them!

I have to pay for their mistake

I will write in English so both Swedes and none Swedes can read this. Very,very bad service. You thought POSTNORD was bad? If Postnord makes a mistake, they don't make you pay for that mistake. DHL is of the opinion that the customer has to pay.

I ordered an item to be delivered to my nearest service area. Since there was a problem with the delivery they said the item can be picked up in Årsta. Totally understandable that sometimes things do not go as planned. That is why I decided to call them and inform them that I will not pick up the item, because it is too far and the cost of travelling there is higher than the item itself. However, they said that they cannot return the item to the sender/store and that I will have to pay a fine of 69 kronors if I do not pick it up in time. They also said that they can "try" to send it to my service point, but it might take two weeks and it might not be a guarantee that it would even arrive there, which would ruin my travel plans for Christmas.

So...now I have to travel to Årsta to pick up an item that costs less than the return ticket for the travel. You have kind people employed, especially in the kundservice, but your policy are far behind that of your competitors. Please look into this! As of now I would not recommend using your services!

Worthless

Worthless

They where supposed to deliver a package on Monday at my home. I waited the whole day and got a message from them that no one was home?! Really??

Then they say that the package can be picked up at a service point. So on Thursday I went to the service point and guess what? They haven't received anything!

I call DHL on Wednesday and they said it should be there, so I go back and got the same results. NOTHING THERE!

I call DHL on Thursday and they couldn't find it anywhere now, and asked if it was OK if they called me back later that day (didn't happen)

I call DHL AGAIN! (4TH TIME) and now the package has magically appeared at another service point! I ask them if they are sure this time and they say yes. When I got to the second service point, guess what? NOTHING THERE AGAIN!

Completely worthless. Why do you even exist as a company? If I could give you ZERO STARS I would!

I was home, but the driver says that I was not.

It's a shame that I put with less than one star.
Horrible experience. I'm waiting at home the whole day for a package that cannot be delivered to the near post.
I'm refreshing all the time the "active tracking" and in the end, suddenly a message saying that they tried to deliver and I was not home is shown. There was one missed call on my phone, I've called 51 seconds later, no answer, I kept trying, no answer.
I've called the support, they couldn't contact the driver. The outcome: I have to wait for another SMS to book again, to maybe repeat this awful experience. I wish I had found that was DHL delivering since the beginning.

The worst experience ever..

The worst experience ever... slow delivery and awful customer service..
Just hire more staff.. why should we pay money to a company that cannot provide, even a normal customer service
